stalking
Hi Girls!
Spoke to forshelby on FB and she is doing great.. just very very pregnant and over it! No labour as of yet. She hasnt had any internet so hasnt been able to post on here. She said to say a huge thanku for all ur well wishes and stalking! :) Shes got a hospital appointment on thurs so she will come in here and let us know how it goes (her internet will be back up and running by then too!)
Be back soon for persies! xx
Audax - Hello!!!! How are you and your gorgeous girl?!! Thanks for stalking! Im so excited about my pram, and so nice that you said that cause im nervous about spending that much on a pram so its good to know its ACE! Have you got one??
Hi everyone, I'm so behind again, sorry! So randomly:
Ferrals: OMG! I watched the video. It gave me tingles down my spine! Really brought back memories of DD in the later stages of pg. Still can't picture being that far along yet.
Forshelby: Hope you are feeling ok and the last bit of pg goes quickly for you (if you are feeling overy it)
Tegam: I really wanted to do labour as drug free as possible and felt proud of myself for doing about 30 or so hours of it with just warm water, heat packs, active birthing strategies and a TENS machine (then a bit of gas in the last hour or two). But i still gotta ask: Is it idealism or did you really experience labour as 'not hurting'???!!! I felt I coped well with the pain but I wouldn't say it didn't hurt.
Dory: glad you are feeling brighter. Sorry you've been having a hard time.
Reet: I'm in the 'change table' camp. I've used mine constantly with DD for both storage, changing and bathing (the first few months because mine has built in baby bath). I found it comfy having everything handy when I changed her (but always kept a hand on her if i had to bend down to reach anything so she didn't roll off).
T-Hopes: glad you spoiled yourself with the pram. I also did (got a mountain buggy for DD with a pretty design on it for not much more than the standard design) and I have really enjoyed mine. Used it heaps. Still in good condition for baby number two (just needs a bit of a clean). So hopefully yours will be too.
Kellbell: enjoy seeing little man!
Mildez: hope you are feeling well and surviving your 'drought'. Must be hard with all the raunchy talk in here the last couple of days!
Alish: Brave woman! Back in the saddle again. I'm like you. Was scared of DTD in case something went wrong (but i did cave about 3 times in first trimester anyway!) Sorry about the vomies this morning :(
Angelfish: Glad you are getting some sleep as well as lovely smiles from Honour.
Sunshine and Stars: thinking of you
Kitfaerie: Nice to 'see' you around! Hope you and little Sammy are doing well.
Audax: Good to see you stalking too.
Hello to anyone else i missed...
AFM: All good at my last OB check on Thursday. Baby looked like s/he was lying back chilling on a bean bag. Kicking his/her feet occasionally and even gave a wave. Can't believe how much s/he's grown!
Forshelby stalking you too - hope bubs is here soon
T-hopes - how exciting you got the pram youll have to post a pic of it when you get your hands on it. :D
wow Possum magic - look at your ticker 15 weeks time really is flying by
hi to everyone else :hello:
Our little guy is perfect about 4 pounds at the moment or 2kg so perfect size for 32 weeks - he was so sweet sucking his fingers and we got a smile. He is head down and what a big heaad he has - holy moly i have to push that head out in a few weeks :o
He wouldnt take his hands from his face so hard to get a good faceshot
But so chubby and cute i just love him so much i cant wait to give him a cuddle and smooch those cheeks.
and hes still def a boy :p
possum - hi! aww a navel orange, do u feel time is passing quickly or slowly? i reckon its going by real fast!
kell - how cute, i bet he melted your heart :)
hi forshelby - hope youre resting up
hi reet thopes dory & tegam :)
all good here!
T-Hopes your pram sounds awesome.
Ferrals OMG Ella is an active girl isn't she? Makes my baby look like a slug lol. She doesn't move half as much as that.
Kellbell your bubba sounds gorgeous. I'm a little nervous about pushing mine out also although I've done it twice before. I'm looking forward to it also just nervous about it!
Yes I can imagine Forshelby is feeling very very pregnant now. So am I and I am a month behind her lol.
Possum M yeehaa on been over 15weeks. Close to half way. Can't remember are you wanting to find out what gender bub is? Have your next scan booked? Can you feel bub moving yet?
Well sorry for the lack of personals. Feeling very sore now and can't sleep. My hips, thighs and back are all suffering from the same thing. Its so unusual to have been through 2 term pregnancies without a discomfort and now to feel so sore. Perhaps its older age. 35weeks tomorrow where has the time gone?
Kellbell-good to hear bub is perfect lol on definately still a boy.
T-Hopes enjoy the pram i did love mine was just very impractical for us we are in and out of the car A LOT with the other kids.
Possums-ooh! your moving along quick now and bub sounds just sweet.
Mildez-Ella is a figit fart i can tell you i dont have to wait long to feel her move if i get worried about lack of movements thats why i call her my disco queen.
Tegam-how are you going with a tribe of little ones hope you are loving every minute.
Forshelby-IM FEELING YA GIRL!! i am soooo big compared to my last pregnancies i am all belly no real weight gain anywhere else just belly i cant even bend over like a normal person i have to spread my legs and look like a big fat old lady to fit my belly between my legs just to pick something off the floor lol but not long for us both now.
AFM-10 DAYS OMG! come on already. single digits tomorrow.
Morning ladies..
its getting exciting in here, we will all be popping out babies soon..
Ferrals..omg 10 days.......how you feeling
Mildez..you're not far off either...i was much MUCH heavier my last pregnancy and was so sore throughout the whole pregnancy i couldnt even roll over in bed without crying.so painful..this one (touch wood) i havent been so bad, i have been pretty good so far...a few niggles down below were everything is stretching and it burns.....think it just really depends on the pregnancy...hopefully 5 weeks goes fast
Alish....glad all is well
Kellbell...glad you're scan went well and he is defiantly a boy...i know with DD i still had moments were i thought what if they got it wrong LOL 3d scan confirmed she was a girl and then i relaxed
PM...glad all is well
Forshelby...how you going darl? thinking of you
hey t-hopes, audax, reet, dory and everyone else..
ATM....im soooooooooooooooooooo tired at the moment...think i am going through a stage again..and i think i might be getting a tooth at the back..my teeth are so sore and aching...
Ferrals~ OMG i bet that you cant wait. I cnat wait lol to hear your birth annoucment!
ferrals - 9 DAYS!!!
sorry for lack of persies, im going to be selfish but
i cannot sleep or get comfortable i take my body pillow to bedand that dosent even work :( has anyone had this problem and if so is there anyway to fix it?
Alish-my body pillow went to the eldest son i hate it not comfortable at all i found useing the feather down doona rolled up between my legs where i could cuddle up to it was much better.
And 9 DAYS I KNOW I hope it goes quick.
Alish my body pill sucks also. DD plays horsies riding it now. It was such a waste of money. I use a C shaped pill and another ordinary pill for between my legs now. But I still can't get comfortable.
Ferrals woohoo on been officially term today! And 9 days to go.
Melster hope the tooth isn't giving you to much grief.
Well I had 3 painful BHs last night which woke me up. Its been 1 week now these things are going on. I don't know whats going on but obviously its not going to make me go into labour after all this time. Bubs head also doesn't feel as low as it did a week ago but its still in a good position (except posterior which I'm not worried about yet) if she remains posterior I think I will so have an epidural. I don't want to go through labour and birth again going back to front. It was so much harder then anterior. I thought I had some water leak yesterday but it turned out to be only excess cm TMI sorry ladies. So its back to getting ready for bubs. I've got a load of blankets and wraps in today but DH only has a short day at work so I have to get them in the fryer quickly and packed away before he comes home.
Well thinking of you all and hope you have a brilliant day.
Ferrals are you all ready now just waiting for Ella's arrival?
Mildez-I thought i had leaking water today also everytime i moved or even laughed it would run down my leg and it was clear liquid but no i know its just excess cm pretty gross though.
And do you plan on frying your bubs blankets lol or drying them he he i cant believe you have been so strong to withhold the sex from him do you think he has a preference to a boy or a girl?
And i am more than ready packed bags by the door cradle all made up change table stocked and car seat in now just the baby.
Hello to everyone else how you going tegam? Forshelby anything happening any twinges ect?
 Thank you Ferrals your the first person that has made me laugh in the last few days. Yes I do plan on drying the blankets not frying them. DH wants a boy. He has always wanted a son. Thats why I really wanted him to find out as I'm worried he will be a little disappointed when little Miss comes out. Although at the same time been a LTTTCer I think he does have a higher then average appreciation for a healthy baby regardless of the gender after the time it took to get here and our losses. Initially we did try gender swaying with timing BD but after a few months and our first m/c it became about getting pregnant. I've never had any desire to have any gender other then a baby so its no big deal for me but I think DH might suffer from gender disappointment :crying: I know he did briefly with DD but he said it only lasted a minute so I'm hoping its the same this time. He thinks bub is a girl although I guess he is hoping its a boy. Maybe its his way of preparing himself. Any I'm hoping it means he will let me have another  he is still in 2 minds about trying again. Its the trying thats the problem.
If he wants a boy he will go again for one more try.
My DH really wanted a boy to but he always said it would be better to have a girl for his DD from his 1st marriage as she is an only child and the youngest out of all our kids it would be great to have my 3 boys and then the 2 girls and when we lost Abbi we saw how heartbroken his DD was and my mum so i was secretly hoping to have another girl but after everything DH and i went through we just want a baby that didnt have SLO and i was convinced we were having a boy so when the u/s tech said i am 99% sure its a girl we just burst into tears it was like Abbi had sent us her little sister.
Your DH will fall in love with her the moment he lays his eyes on her.
Still pg. lol. I'm having plenty of twinges but nothing labourish yet.
Right now I'm at the stupid hospital for my appointment. Which they managed to F up. They made 2, which is fine, but sent me to the wrong dept firstand acted like I should have known better. Wtf? So I've wasted an hour waiting for the wrong appt, and now am waiting for the 2nd appt. Then I have to go BACK to the 1st appt and wait all over again. What sucks is the fact I could have saved an hour of my time, not to mention paying for the extra parking which I didnt need!!
oh and poor DP got a 300 fine for answering his phone while working. He's a driver. And thought it was me calling. The cops didnt care tho that im pg and almost due, not one bit.
ARRRRGGHHHH.
Sorry for the rant but it sure helped pass some time. Will be back for persies tomorrow. Belly rubs to all!!!
Morning,
I know about the whole gender thing, hubby has one boy and the rest are all girls...he is defiantly a girl maker thats for sure..lol........and this one is a girl....( i dont mind either way but i do like girls) and he still wants another one....pfffffttttttt......i think he wants a netball team to be honest...although i dont think its just to have a boy..and his likely hood of having a boy is slim...think he gets slightly dissapointed but doesnt show it..it doesnt take him long to be excited about his little girls...if we did try i would defiantly try the boy method no matter how long it took....but at the moment i think we defiantly have enough kids especially with the way the ex is...
How you going forsbelby?
ATM......man my teeth are aching..its actually becoming quiet unbearable...my jaw and teeth are aching all the time..im wondering if maybe its stress or an actual tooth.....and boy are my boobs getting massive....size F!!!!! arrgghhhhhhh they look so big its quiet embarrasing
Hey gals!
Mildez - I didnt realise your Dh didnt know it was a little girl! Your soooo good for never letting it slip! Your wonderful! Would take a lot of thinking before speaking not to let it slip! Good job! And of course he wont mind what the gender is once he see's that gorgeous face! I have 3 sisters and I im the youngest, Id always wondered if he was dissapointed when i was a girl but he says he woulnt want it any other way! Loves calling us 'his girls!' Very proud pappa bear!
Hi 'still pregnant Forshelby!' :) not loooong now! My g/f is having her bub at GCH too! She said they always stuff her appts up and she waits hrs! She will be induced tomorrow!! She cant wait!
Ferrals - glad your all organanised - 9days! Holy moly! I wouldnt be able to sleep!!! I get all these excitement bubbles just thinking about it for you!!!
Hi to everyone else!
xox
30 work days left for me! Yahooooo!
Yes GCH sucks. Spent 4 hours there, and wound up with a parking ticket. Ugh!
I finally saw the dr, and right as I was walking out the door she noticed on my file i have gd. (very thorough. Not). She then decided we would forget next weeks appt and discuss induction now. After enjoying a ve *shudder* she says bubby is nowhere near engaged and my cervix is closed. Damnit!! Long story short I am being induced next wednesday. They sure arent letting me go far over!
I'm annoyed at the endocrinologist i saw today also for lecturing me about not being seen sooner. ***, i was sent appt letters when they were sent. If the hospital was organized they wouldnt have made me wait 9 weeks for this. Bah.
Also slightly annoyed (notice the theme?) they've got me booked for induction without having done any tests other than a ve. Or asessing my diabetes properly. I feel like a cow being lined up for slaughter.
Ok that's my rant/update. Time for a nap!
oh Forshelby - thats crap treatment! Exactly how my g/f felt about the place! She has a blood disorder and is so worried about being induced tomorrow too! Im sure when it comes down to the day, everything will flow perfectly but it would be certainly making you feel anxious that they arent on top and in control of everything!
But im excited to hear that your little one will be here by next Wednesday! Ooooh you'll just beat Ferrals!!!
xx
Forshelby...sorry you have had a bad day today and got a fine...probably the last thing that you need...sorry i dont know alot about the effects of DB and bith, but if you're worried she is rushing you and you dont want an induction...maybe look at the net for the pros and cons etc....
Does it make it more real now you have a date!!!
How exciting
Forshelby-make sure you body is ready for an induction i was induced for my 1st because of high BP my cervix wasnt ready and bub was high and 2 days of horrible labour he was born very distressed and had to be resusitated if your body is ready and they are worried about your GD then go for it but dont let them pressure you if thats not what you want.
On the plus side you will have your baby before me.
Forshelby I agree with the girls dont get rushed into something you dont want. You have rights they sounds like they are not taking very good care of you - what a horrid day for you.
have you had a scan to see how big bubs is? have they checked your placenta function.
thats what can deterioate with diabetes a bit quicker
id be asking some questions first
Could be two new babies in this group next week that is exciting!!!
Ferrals i bet this week is going slow for you - wow 9 days and you get Ella cuddles :D
Melster - your teeth sound so sore hope you get some relief soon
haha Mildez frying your baby blankets that bought a smile to me. Cant believe youve kept it a secret this long :o
A whinge from me this baby is so high and in my ribs - drop baby drop to give me some relief pleaseeeeee!!!!!
only two days and my baby is two i cant believe it - she has been singing her happy birthday to herself all week sooooo cute
Big belly rubs for everyone
grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr i lost all my replys!!!
forshelby - gcd is the WORST! i had severe abdominal cramps and went there and waited 6 hours before i said f**k this and went home, went back the next day and waited 4 before i someone saw me, both times i laid on their chairs curled up in a ball!
sorry you have to be induced, but at least you get to see little one in 6 sleeps.. yay!!
melster - i had a stinging ache behind my rhs back bottom tooth, have u had your wisdom teeth out? thats what mine was.. or it could be an abscess, might be worth going to the dentist?? hope you can get some relief soon, tooth aches are the worst..
as for the gender thing, i reckon brett might be a little disappointed if we have a girl too! he will be happy either way but i think he just wants his little boy! plus i keep having dreams everynight im having a boy so he is getting his hopes up..
kellbell - can you not breathe cuz its under your ribs? lol i havent had kids before so im trying to find out as much as possible so i know what to expect.. and happy birthday to your dd for tomorrow, how cute!
ferrals - when are you having your baby girl? i know youve written it somewhere but i forget! how are you feeling?
mildez - how good for not letting the gender slip! does he want to know and you wont tell him or??
is it normal to feel like youve wet your pants?? i have so much discharge?
thopes - 30 days of work left! im so jealous!
im starting to get really tired from being on my feet all day, i might have to buy a stool! i go out the back and sit down for 5 minutes through the day, even that is nice
hi dory! how you goin?
my body pillow is awesome,i use it on the lounge, it just dosent work for me in bed (haha) i read in my little pregnancy book that if you have a glass of warm milk before bed that will "work wonders" so brett gave me some cold milk last night (geez i love him he is so helpful atm) and it did work, i didnt wake up once so that was wicked!
this has taken me about a year to write because i keep making spelling mistakes!! i think today is going to be a dumb day! but i finish work at 2 today yay!!
have a lovely day everyone and sorry to anyone ive missed xxx
Hi girls,
just letting you know that ferrals went to hospital last night with a bleed, she will be in for 24hr for observation but it has now calm down to a light bleed - she is in my belly buddies group so thought i would update you here
forshelby - thinking of you in these final days and like everyone says if you don't want to be induced don't be pushed into it
xoxox
Hi Lady's this is Ferrals DH she will be staying in hospital for the week the Dr just told her and i thought you lot would like to know
hello ferrals dh....welcome......send ferrals our love and we hope she is ok
Thanks for the update on Ferrals. And Ferrals I'm thinking of you, little Ella and your family. Hope to be reading your BA very soon and all about how gorgeous and perfect Ella is.
Alish no DH doesn't want to know. He wants the suprise at the end.
Well BBL.
I'm back! And with real internet!
Ferrals - Omg, I had a look at your video of Ella kicking..... cutest thing I've ever seen. I couldn't help but have a little cry because these moments will be over soon for us. Maybe it was the music. Damn your DH lol. I've just read on further and see you've had a bleed.... I'll be thinking of you today
T-Hopes - I've had crap treatment every single time I've had to go there... it's awful. Mostly it's just the excruciating wait times....... but this time was exceptionally bad. Like I said before though the people on the labour ward etc were lovely when I met them so I'm hoping they'll lift my opinion of the place. At the end of the day I just want my baby out! Good luck to your friend today.... how exciting :)
Melster - Definitely the last thing we needed getting a parking ticket. I think she's definitely just trying to cover her ass by booking me in so soon to be induced, I haven't had a growth scan or anything like that to see whether or not bubby is still thriving........ she's just decided he/she needs to come out with nothing to back it up. I've made an appointment to have this scan, but am still waiting for the hospital to call me back with an appointment time. If they don't call today I'll be hassling them about it tomorrow. It does make it a bit more real now we have a definite date. :)
Kellie - No, scan etc is booked for....... well honestly F knows when. I have to chase them up to find out when they can 'fit me in'. Ridiculous. This stuff is important and I'm out of time! Apparently my diabetes is under control and on the borderline of non-existant.. so I don't know what they're fussing about. I feel sorry for your poor ribs, lol.. mine are still copping it a bit from time to time, and my belly has dropped a bit! I think someone has long legs lol. Happy birthday to your gorgeous girl :)
Alish - You poor thing. I had a bad experience there with my mc in 2008 as well. Waited 5 hours to be seen, and told to go home because they 'had no idea what was going on' and I had my mc at home by myself. I feel bad for the drs.... they're so short staffed. It's not like they WANT to treat us that way, but I totally understand how upsetting it is. About your question, I feel like I've wet my pants quite a lot lol. In fact, I think I actually AM wetting my pants.......
Iona - I'll definitely be doing my research and making sure the right tests are performed. (unless I go into labour before it can be done lol). Thanks so much for updating us on Ferrals, I hope she's doing well.
Ferrals again! - Thanks Ferrals DH. Send her our love!
Dory - Thanks for texting me every day and keeping me company :)
AFM - Well you've all pretty much heard what's going on with me. I don't want to let them induce me unless there's a good reason, so we'll see how these tests go if I make it to them at all. After I got home from the hospital yesterday I felt quite sore down there.... a lot of pressure when standing etc, and just different in general. I slept VERY well last night which was mostly due to sheer exhaustion, but I just have a weird feeling. Kind of out of sorts.... a litte bit nauseous at times, nothing I can put my finger on really. Oh, and I feel excited again all of a sudden. I think I got all caught up in the 'business' of it all, that I forgot we are having a BABY! And we'll find out if we have a son or a daughter very soon! I got a huge surge of excitement this morning at random, my heart is pounding just thinking about it. :o
Ferrals Hubby - Thank you so much for the update! Poor lovey - hope she is resting well and we look forward to hearing the happy news soon! xx
Iona Macca - Thanks for the update too!! How are you doing? xx
forshelby - you go girl....just remember it's ur body
t-hopes - i'm going good at the business end of things so just waiting now lol besides i still have to finish packing my hospy bag hehehe i'm sure i will be doing it while i am in the beginnings of labour
Well, I have yet another update. The hospital called me back today asking me to come in for my u/s. (kinda short notice, but ok!) I ended up going to a hospital closer to home rather than GCH which was nice as after yesterday I wasn't keen to go back.
Anyway long story short (from what the sonographers told me, they were fairly tight lipped as usual) bubby is looking good, weighing about 8 and a half pounds, and I don't need to worry. One of the ladies asked me when I'll be seeing the hospital/gp again and I said Tuesday. She smiled and said, unless things start happening sooner! Everyone has been saying that to me so I hope that's the case.
I also got a lovely picture of bub in profile, looking SO grown up compared to last scan at 26 weeks. :) I'm still not sure how I feel about induction, but at the same time...... am starting to warm to the idea of having DP at home with me next week in the lead up to the birth, and not having to stress out about him trying to come home and ditch a fully loaded truck back at work....... the logistics are a nightmare.
Best case I am hoping to go into labour between Saturday afternoon and Tuesday night all by myself. Hehe :) Oh, and a little sidenote.... TMI WARNING.... I cannot stay away from the toilet today. I've never number 2'ed 3 times in one day. But I think I might today! FX this is the beginning of something. Tomorrow my sister is taking me to do laps at the shopping centre and to eat spicy foods at the same time lol.
Oooh Forshelby! So glad you had a nice scan and especially that it was somewhere other than GCH! Awesome that bub is happy and my fingers are crossed that things happen naturally VERY soon! Ive heard that constant No.2's mean your body is naturally cleaning things out and getting ready for labour - oooh i hope so!!!! Enjoy your spicey foods too! NOw that is gunna make you poo even more! lol!
