Wow forshelby. I cant believe how close you are now, I hope you can get you're internet working so that we can be fully updated in the next few weeks. So excited for you..
Ferrals...well thats kinda good news isnt it? Apart from his licence...What other work can he do? Will he be ok getting another job and working.....Do you feel a little better its all over with now?
Thopes..i have a forward facing one now and hated it with DD because i had troubles sitting her in it...(first baby and carried her alot etc) but for this one i have one facing me. For me personally its easier being able to see them and to be able to amuze them and keep them quiet etc but its just personally prefrence. Its good especially when they are young and insecure and want to see mummy. Defiantly check the size because its a bugger when the wheels are too big and you cant sweeze through grocery shopping and through the isles etc.. also practise collapsing them yourself and make sure there eazy because some are really complicated and hard. Make sure they have a full lie down feature on them for when they are young and if you need any attachments like toddler chairs, and rain features and make sure they have a drink holder and storage place to put nappys..even make sure you're nappy bag can fit over the handle..
Kellbell....im so sorry to hear about you're diabetes. It must be so disappointing. Im sorry about you're pants..i had to have a little giggle tho...i have had days like that
Angelfish.......oh it soooooo sucks with Child support..Im not too bad with the amount if thats the final figure because i was expecting 10'000.00 20000.00 or more.....but they should make it so they have to spend it on the kids...but she wont..she just wants a new car.....and figures after 10 yrs her ex should have to pay for it...for her mucking her life up...........i have already filled out the objection!!!!!! and we will send it tonight. I can tell its going to be full on dramas from here on out with her especially when she doesnt get her own way and that we told them about her buisness and that she will probably get in trouble with the tax man, CS and centerlink.......we will probably end up with all the kids (which unfortunatley is my greatest fear)..only thing is when everything goes wrong on her life she takes it out on everyone else..and we all suffer...so sometimes its easier to let her go....but not this time...im over it and she deserves everything she gets.....and when she finds out about the pregnancy it will be even worse.............she has no morals and no cares..which worries me because then she really doesnt have much to loose..and we will have to pick up the pieces..i am trying to make hubby stand strong this time and not give in to her or the kids.......enough is enough....its time for this too stop...any which way..she needs to know he is not going to come running..kids or not..its the only way she will stop..
Alish...my ob was going through a break up last pregnancy and was away alot i was spewing...but we love him...and he had gone away and then i had DD 3 weeks early..the other ob was good..but i wanted my ob......and now he told me last appointment he is away 1 week before im due....so i guess it will boils down to if i have a c-section which i will have to have two weeks early or when this baby will come and it i will go my due date.....i hope i get him this time...now its a decision between C-section and trying for natural........
I am 20 weeks and have put on 10kilo..do you think thats alright?
-
Forshelby-woohoo girl any day now i have my u/s and OB appoint thur/fri so i am hoping i wont have to have a ceasar then you will go before me.
And what a nice thing you did for that lady and little boy who cares what the old bag thinks if it made you feel good that is all that matters.
And your angelversary is hard try not to dwell on what could have been and consentrate on what will be soon.
I am in the same situation my Abbi would be 2 in 18 days i wonder if Ella will come on her big sisters BDay.
Melster-everyone is different i am 36 weeks and have put on 7-8kgs and my last 3 pregnancies i put on 14kg 10kg and 8kgs where my 2 closest girlfriends have put on between 20-30kgs which is a huge amount but they lost it so if i were you just keep your eye on it mainly because the more weight the uncomfortable you will be and the risk of high BP ect i can tell you now my 7-8kgs that i have put on and i feel really uncomfortable i think little miss will be my biggest yet i have never had a baby over 7lb but i think she will most definately go over.
And DH loss of security licence is a big blow he has done security for 15 years so now has to retrain for a new career no one will employ a 38yr old with no other qualifications and now a recored criminal record for something so stupid all because we couldnt afford a lawyer and we had proof he was lieing.
-
oh my god forshelby! 13 DAYS!!!! that was a lovely thing you did today, and no offence to old people, but some really do think the world owes them, dont worry you are a good person!
kellbell - sorry about the diabetes, but i too had to giggle about your pants, put it down to baby brain!
thopes - glad your kidneys were fine! as for the pram, i bought a steelcraft cruiser, the bassinet actually detaches so you can have the baby facing you or other people, they are around 279 - 349 in target, depending on if its on sale, hope that helps :)
hi ferrals - some people really are f*ckheads! thank god the judge backed you guys up on the "future dental work" what a crock!
melster - i love my ob too but he is a specialist as well so he is so much in demand, im really untrustworthy of doctors and im p*ssed that he may not be there, he is an hour away from where we live so i travel to see him, i wont go to the next town cuz ive heard the hospital is crap so i have to deal with it!
my sister put on 30 kgs throughout both her pregnancies, her doc never said it was bad! maybe talk to ur doc if you r worried
i reckon ive put on a couple already, no more than 5 though! all my pants still fit so far :P
hi everyone else! belly rubs, hugs and hope youre all well!
yuck ive been finding if ive eaten too much i get the worse gas (sorry tmi) i dont think ive eaten too much at the time but i obviously have lol, by the time lunch comes around im starving & dont realise, maybe i should snack through the day?
-
Thanks girls haha the midwife wasnt going to tell me im glad she did i might have gone to the shops like that  what a preg moment
DP thought it was soooo funny
T - hopes - Id go with a pram where you can see bubs. make sure its not too wide and you can fold it easily and that it fits in the boot. take it out to the car and try it out thats my advice. Def something that reclines all the way for a newborn
My friend is selling me a double pram for 50 bucks woohoo. the one i really wanted was a city select double but they are 800 dollars so alas we cant afford it.
I always check out other peoples prams at the shops some look so cool im jealous
Forshelby - i cant wait to read your BA so exciting. You are lovely to let the other women go first. Id be so grateful if someone did that for me. Ill PM you thanks
Melster glad your fighting her on the child support she sounds awful hope she dosent get a cent and gets in trouble with her buisness.
10kg sounds fine - have you been getting lots of lovely kicks now?
woohoo for half way 20 weeks :D
Ferrals cant believe all that trouble from liars. glad the judge saw through the future dental work crap.
When did Ella drop for you?. my boy is so high and i cant breathe or eat hoping he drops soon
Alish i love your preg avatar its so cute :)
that must be a pain having to travel so far to your OB!
Bubs had hiccups tonight and DP lay there counting them and trying to fix them for him soooooo lovely. If i have to be induced it could be only 6 weeks away and i dont even have a bag packed so not organised:o
-
haha could you imagine if you did go to the shops like that!!!
thanks! :) rainbowbrite made it for me, im hopeless at it!
is it possible to show at 12 weeks? brett said my tummy looked different the other night
ohh hiccups how cute, & that dp tried to fix them awwwww!
6 weeks away, sheesh, that will come around quick!
-
Kellbell-around 36 weeks i got some relief under the ribs and found it easier to breath but i am still pretty uncomfortable Ella moves heaps and i can tell you is not gentle she whacks me hard sometimes and stretches my belly to positions that sometimes hurt little bugger i love it and i know she is strong DH just says that's my girl lol.
-
Forshelby - awww you are so sweet.... poor little boy... and thinking of you for your angelversary... they are hard.....oh belly dropping, cramping.. yay this show is almost on the road!
Kell - nice new ticker I see! Yay for 31 weeks, sorry about your GD. You can get through it! Way too funny about your duds too.... I just think it's cute... maybe cause I have done that sort of thing too.
Ferrals - glad the court case is over.. pity that DP lost his security license but glad the other charge was dropped and yay for no "future possibly maybe bad teeth" compo.
Hugs to everyone, just a a short one from me today...thinking of you all and your little bumps.... well not so little now for some. Yay.
-
Hehe my baby is head down in my ticker now! Woohoo. Off to work but BBL. I just had to share.
-
Morning ladies..
Hey dory and mildez
Kellbell...thanks....she doesnt deserve anything...i swear my life would be soooooooo peaceful without her in it..i wouldnt have half these problems
alish and ferrals..........i put on 35 with dd :shakehead: so i think 10 kilos for me is pretty good LOL......and im not sure what i put on with my angel baby and what with this one.. so it could be even less...im exercising and keeping an eye on it so hopefully it will be alright..i will be exercising after because i know how i felt after DD....
Angelbaby would have been due this friday :crying: ...i cant believe how that time has gone...
This baby must me kicking me in my bladder...i am dying to go....she is moving a little more..Ob said everything is at the back so i should be feeling her...
-
Melster - hugs for your angels EDD - and thanks for sharing about 35 gain... I've put on 20 since my first m/c and I was worried, though my obs has never mentioned weight at all.
T - Hopes - hmm I have pram envy too, like Kell. Even though I have one I like I am always checking out others. We bought a mountain buggy urban jungle and I love it. We also got the carry cot which means bubs could face us until at least 3/4 months of age and we used the pram with carry cot as a sleeping space ( could wheel bubs around when unsettled). Boy did I get a shock when we had to use the actual pram part and bubs faced away from us, but she was so ready. The mountain buggy jungle has some down sides - it's large and doesn't fit through all shopping checkouts, and it takes up the boot in our car, post casesar it's cumbersome to get in and out of the car, but it didn't take long. But I love it. My friend just had her heart set on a buggaboo and she got it and loves it but it was way expensive brand new. Some friends of mine have the city joggger for twins and they like it, but baby could only sit facing away. I have heard the striders are good and they have the travel system which would be handy. It can be hard to get bubs in and out of a car seat and it seems like a lot of people have a capsule at least, and the strider has a whole lot of extra's but I didn't like the plastic wheels. But even though there are some down sides, I love my mountain buggy. Maybe next time I'd go for the next size down though..... not sure what it's called, it's just a bit narrower and lighter. I have read some studies that say it's better for babies to face or be able to see their caregiver.... but I am not sure if there have been any long term studies about it. In the end, it's about personal preference. I loved being able to see bubs and how she was doing. I still miss that part of our pram experience, so for me, walking involves lots of stopping to check and peek. LOL
Alish - yep snack more- it helps.
Mildez - YAY for bubs being head down... what's that called again? Don't work too hard but enjoy the a/c!
-
Stikll havn't sorteed out my phone so still very limited on net. Have finished movint the big stuff into my new house. 14weeks today and still with the MS. I think I felt the bub move today, whatever it was sent me running for the loo though lol.
So glad to be able to check in and see how everyone is going :)
As for the pram stuff, I had one that faced away from me when DS was lil, I mostly used the sling though and then one day I cracked the sh*ts about not being able to see him and brought a new one that I'll be using with this bub too. IDK what it is called but it is one of the more expensive ones from Target and it can have a normal seat, capsal or bassinette in it, all facing however you want it. I have the seat and capsual because I wanted the convenience of not having to feed bub every time we got in or out of the car like DS lol.
-
Thopes  I have had 5 prams all up and none of them have been perfect much to my husbands disgrace
I now have a mountain buggy urban?, its the light small one, it perfect for me but has a fixed front wheel so if you were someone that was going to use a pram with an older (heavier) child this wouldnt be great. I get my kids walking as soon as they can walk!
I also have the mountain buggy twin, i love this for my exercise or when we are going somewhere for a huge day.
I dont miss not having a baby face me but i use my HAB most of the time for my babies...
So really no help there
-
Dory-He can go for future compo dental work but has to go through the victims compensation tribunal and prove he needs the work and they have a set capped amount so he wont get the ridiculas $12,000 he was asking for.
But so far his teeth look fine to me so i doubt he will be able to prove much.
-
ferrals, its your d-day appointment tomorrow right? good luck at operation placenta move!
have you thought about going back to all the playgroup and mothers groups ferrals...its been awhile, do you have a 2nd wind for it? im getting a bit stale and i have YEARS to go
-
dory have you noticed we have the same baby in our avvys! twins :) or is that my husband with you
-
Hi all!
Thank you all soooo much for all your pram advice!! You have really helped! So nice to get feedback from real mums, not just whatever the sales lady is trying to push on us! Every different shop i went in to last week, i came out sold on something different! :juggle: Im gunna take my mum to have a peek at our top two on Saturday to get her opinion and make sure im not missing something and to also try them in my boot! After all my researching, I think we are 90% sold on the Baby Jogger City Elite and we'll also the get the bassinet for when bubs is little. Its super easy to fold, fairly lite, nice and cosy for bubs and reclines all the way + its great to wheel on bumpy surfaces. DH and i are quite active, always out at the park with our dogs or going on big walks so i guess this will be the one that will fit into our lifestyle!?! Its not a cheap purchase though huh! Just over $1000 inc bassinet! :o It better be good or DH will have my head!!! Then again, thats his fave too!
Tegam - 5 prams! OH lord! I get the feeling i will too one day, i cant get enough of them!
Kell, Dory - I already have pram envy when i see a beautiful one! I often stalk them in shopping centres trying to see what type it is!! hehheh! the most beautiful are the Emmaljunga - take a peek at Emmaljunga • Reliable prams, manufactured in Sweden OMG! Devine! We looked at them too but DH banned me! says they arent practical, too big, too dear blah blah! hehehehe!
Anyway - thank you all so much for your advice!!!
MIldez - heheh - yay for ticker being head down!!!
Melstar - Id put on aprox 7kg when i weighed myself last week, im sure there would be an extra one on already if i was to weigh myself tonight after the monster dinner i just devoured! Thinking of you for Fridays angel DD :( its such a hard time xx
ALish - yep i graze all day, i try to never get myself to the point of being so hungry that i feel ill, i have muesli bars, sultanas, fruit etc in my handbag and drawers at work at all time!
Ferrals - good to hear that the court case is over! Cant believe the bastards tried to get you to fork out that much for dental! Bastards!!
Anyway im gunna go for a walk, i had a huge dinner and feel like im gunna pop! Eeeeh, never eating rissoles again! 1st time ive had indigestion, gross feeling
xx
-
T-hopes ohhhhhh those Emmaljunga prams looks beautiful - im in love. My DP wouldnt even look at them lol when i just showed him. I wannnnnnnttttt one esp the limited edition black beauty!!!!!
I love prams im def the crazy pram stalking one at the shops :p
I think the one you have picked sounds perfect for you! youll have to put a pic up when you get it so i can check it out
Ferrals - good luck tommorow hope that placenta is nicly out of the way :goodluck::goodluck:
TWO WEEKS left of work offically tommorow woohooooooooooo:leap:
-
I'm feeling like a real selfish pig at the moment as I'm about to write another me me post. Well I was officially freaking out that this bub was going to arrive soon. I've calmed down now but I have this feeling I can't shake. So it started today when I lost a big blob of stuff down below (Forshelby what you decribed you had ages ago like a show but the wrong colour) anyway that didn't freak me out as there was no brown, pink, red etc in it. Well I was tightening all day no big deal seeing as I have been having that since 15weeks but for the first time they were coming when I was sitting and lying down. Then they got painful. They and felt like contractions (low in the front, and in the back with the tightening abdomen) I was really thinking oo-oh especially when I did a palpation on myself and her head is so low almost in my vagina. Where I'd expect it to be when someone presented in labour. And it has no movement in it what so ever so its well and truely engaged (although I know it could possible come back up seeing as its not my first) anyway I'm now pain free (and perhaps its just from the runs) but OMG I thought I'd be given steroids and nifedipine to stop the labour there for a while. So now I'm conpletely fine but still in shock I have these suttle signs bub is getting ready to arrive when I still have 6weeks to go. I'll be laughing at myself if I now go over due. DH is also in a panick and wants to put me on strick bed rest and finally has a good excuse to deprieve me of DTD! Apart from that I've been trying to find icons on the nappy hunt but I'm not going very well.
Now tomorrow I will be back to do personals unless something eventful happens. And I need to pack a hospital bag. I dread the thought of DH packing it for me. He would probably put in sz 10 undies that have long outgrown my bottom! No he would definately do it as thats what he did last time.
-
Just a quickie, hi to everyone! I will have proper internet next Thurs.
Ferrals- Just wanted to say good luck for your appt on Friday, and hooray for DH's court case being over. It's a pity he now has to start a new career, but hopefully he will find something he loves and kick butt doing it :)
AFM- slowly going insane from lack of quality sleep. Im so uncomfy and sore, and ohhh the heartburn! Worst thing is I just can't sleep upright. Poor DP can't sleep next to me as I'm snoring 'like a piggy' lol. I know having a newborn won't make sleeping any easier, but at least I will be able to get comfy!
-
forshelby! 12 days omg!!!!!! haha baby is now the size of a watermelon! not good about lack of sleep, im not good when im tired! hope you can get some comfort soon x
mildez - you poor thing, i can tell you not to stress, but if youre like me, you will anyway, but i can tell you that you and bub are going to be fine :)
ferrals - hope that placenta moves for you!
kellbell - ohh i wish i had 2 weeks left of work :( i hate my job atm, they are renovating so there is nothing but bang bang bang, saws and all that, and one person is being mean about my pregnancy
thopes - i wish i had the energy to go for a walk, im buggared once i get home from work! i think im going to make myself go for a walk, i used to walk everyday but havent lately
tegam - LOL 5 prams?? youre so funny!! brett would kill me if i turned around and said i hated this pram!! i think ill be happy with it though :)
hi dory :) hows it going?
melster - hugs for your angelversary. xoxoxox
hi dampyre & anyone else i left out :)
have a nice day!
-
So I had a crappy sleep. I kept tossing and turning thinking this is not good (full on expecting something to happen I guess) anyway this morning I feel 100% although I'm still having irregular tightenings or BHs I guess as there is no pain with them at all. Bub has been very quiet during the ordeal so if she doesn't wake up I might go get checked out.
Forshelby I hope you had a better sleep last night. Can you have a nanna nap during the day?
Kellbell woohoo for starting Mat leave soon.
Ferrals goodluck for today. Hope you get the answers you want.
-
TegamM - nah not your DH with me! LOL.
Alish - doing ok thanks - you'll get some energy back soon.....
Forshelby - not long to go and you'll be getting a better sleep but in short bursts. But at least it's not with all the discomforts.
Ferrals - Gl sweetie - get moving placenta... bring on vag birth.
Mildez - wow - that all sounds seriously like labour.... one obs I saw once said when I got to 34 weeks "you're there, and nothing will be done.
Sorry just a short one today.....
-
Morning ladies
Im filling in at work today and sooooooooooooooooooooooo cant be bothered!!!!! I am feeling more hungry than normal..think bubby must be having a growth spirt...and i seem to get more hungry while im at work..probably coz im bored... betta watch it though because i dont want 10kilo to creep to 20kilo....and then so on.....
How do you ladies cope with things that are outa you're control??????????????
Dory i cant believe Hannah is 5months old already..
Mildez...if you're worried go get checked out to ease you're mind...maybe have a look for some info on pre labour...apparently some can get it for quiet a while before the borth..and braxton hicks etc...maybe you're body is just hopefully warming up...i hope bubby stays in there a bit longer..
Alish..thanks
Forshelby...i am so excited for you..i keep thinking about you...take it easy
Kellbell...oh i remember when i was working full time when i was pregnant with DD...i was sooooooooooooooooooooo over it..i was so kranky it was doing my head in..i went on leave that friday and had DD 3 weeks early on the next wednesday...LOL LOL i was spewin........i hope you get some rest and get to do everything you need to before you're precious bundle is here
Well im off to try and keep myself amuzed until lunch time...and TO STOP THINKING ABOUT MY HUBBY'S EX AND KIDS........STOP STOP STOP STOP STOP....stop thinking about things you cant control.......she is a waste of space and a waste of my thinking and memory and my life.....
-
T-Hopes - i had a emmaljunga with my 2nd son it was beautiful but very impractical and we went out and brought a lighter layback stroller with my 3rd son it was great for long walks in the neighbourhood but terrible to take shopping and in the car.
Mildez-glad everything seems to have settled i have had days like those where i think ooh i wonder if it is starting but no.
Tegam-i never went to mothers groups ect when i had my boys as i was so young and just fell into the mum role so easy and all my friends were out partying and then when i finished having my kids (so i thought ) all my friends started having their babies so i pretty much worked and spent all my spare time raising my boys as my ex was a w#nker and no help.
This time around i have a few friends with bubs so i can do the mum & bub days.
AFM-Sorry to not reply to everyone i just got home and it looks like forshelby and i will be racing to the delivery room my placenta 2 weeks ago was 7mm from the cervix this week it is 8mm so not even a centremeter away the u/s tech said no way for a natural birth bubs head is resting on the placenta so i am off to the OB tomorrow to discuss the date of my c section which is suppose to be the 16th but is not officially booked yet that will make me 38 weeks so that 12 DAYS AWAY from tomorrow OMG! 12 days or less and i get to meet our girl.
And she has put on a pound and a half in 2 weeks she weighs 5lb 15oz today little fatty.
Anyhoo i will be back later to chat some more.
-
ferrals, ah well at least your placenta played nice and kept you from having bleeds, so sad about the csection tho. 12 days, thats AWESOME :happydance:
-
Ferrals thats great news that Ella is such a good size. Shame about the placenta but atleast you get to meet Ella so soon and that the placenta isn't covering the cervix so all those risks you were worried about are drastically reduced.
So the stupid BH have started again. I'm gathering its just an irritable uterus and FX bub can stay in for a minimum of another 20days (that will be get me to 37weeks)
-
Hi everyone :)
So I now have DP's man flu. They'll probably put me in quarantine at the hospital LOL. About the sleep, I tried to have a nanna nap today but was too sneezy and congested.
Ferrals- sorry your natural birth is a no-go. I am rather excited we're racing to deliver tho, lol. Sure makes things interesting! I too am finding it hard to believe we will be holding our babies so soon. And OMG I get to find out if we have a son or a daughter at last. Can't wait to buy something pink or blue and get a decent wardrobe happening. Unisex clothes are almost non existant so I have minimal stuff.
Thanks everyone for being so supportive during my pg. You girls are like family and I can't wait to bombard you all with new mummy questions, lol :)
-
hi everyone!
Ferrals - Sorry to hear placenta didnt move but im so excited that we will have a date tomorrow that baby Ella will arrive! Yeeee!!! So cool! And yep, Emmaljunga's are sooo beautiful, we have actually been looking at one today that has 2 smaller wheels at the front so much easier to push and only 10.8kg! DH loves it and its a floor model so we will save about $450!? Just gotta make sure it fits in my boot! :)
xx
-
Ferrals - ahh naughty ole placenta, but 12 days til Ella time. Hope your obs gives you a date you like. Cool. I like the mothers group I go to and I didn't think I would.
Mildez - sorry the BH have started up again. I have an irritable uterus, funny old things... well annoying... but as long as it get the job done.
Forshelby - not long now sweet.... sorry about the "man flu"... I didn't buy much either in the way of clothes, well not really, and after Hannah was born we were inundated with clothes and I haven't needed to buy ANY yet and the bounty of clothes is still going, though just about into those size 1's already... so I am guessing it will run out soon. God then the por kid is left with my tastes in clothes. OMG.. fashion disaster about to happen. Hmm have you got a new pair of flip flops for hossy?
Melster - hope you managed NOT to think about things you didn't want to... I know 5 months has flown....she is honestly the bestest baby, I am so lucky.
T Hoes - yay about agreement on a pram and a good price.
Hiya to everyone else - T Hopes, Alish, Damprye, Kell, Sunshine & Obie, TegamM & Molly, Angel & Honour, and sorry if I have missed anyone.
-
Grrrr i just wrote persies and lost it cos i stupidly clicked on back or something! Hate that! Im only going to do a quick post now cos im super tired and want to have a productive day tomoro!
Forshelby- Oh so so close, i am so very excited for u! U definitely sound as tho ur ready to meet this little one, the race is on between u and ferrals! Woohoo! Was baby still engaged at ur drs appointment?? Oh and i hope that nasty flu disappears soon.. definitely not what u need when u go into labour!
Ferrals- Sorry to hear u have to have a c-section but hey u get to meet ur little girl so soon!! I hope shes happy to stay put until ur c-section date! Have u had any signs of going early??
Melster- I hope u can somehow clear ur mind of the awful ex.. shes really not worth ur thoughts and worries!! I hope things with ur dh are also improving.
T-Hopes-U have me a bit worried about picking the perfect pram! I hadnt even given it a second thought until i realised theres so many factors u have to think about.. i was just going to look for anything! My dh has a few things he wants in a pram..like its gotta have pump up tires etc.. all i want is something i can steer well! Hes back tomoro for a week so baby shopping here we come!!
Alish- Sorry this is a week late but congratulations on a great scan last week!!! Next to look forward to is all those first little movements!! Its all so exciting :)
Mildez- I hope ur little girl can hang on for another 3 weeks atleast!! Did u end up having a check up at the hospital or did she start moving a little more??
Kell- Yay for starting maternity leave soon!! Im loving not working!! I hope u manage to get some well deserved rest in before baby arrives.
Im so sorry, i know i have missed ppl, a big hello to everyone tho!!
AFM- I had ob. appointment yesterday, went really well. I took my older sister along this time, she loved it! I think i even have to take my dad next time haha he really wants to come! It might be a little embarrassing taking him but oh well.. ill just say 'Dad' loudly a few times so other ppl waiting dont think hes the father or something!! Yucko!!
Baby looks like it has the chubbiest little cheeks ever! Surely it shldnt have too much fat this early tho??! Very very cute :) And its head down! I had figured that out the night before the appointment but it was good to find out i was right. I always have little feet kicking around my right ribs, a bottom/back near my left ribs and then the other night i had a little elbow poking out right down near my left hip bone, lucky i cant feel any pressure from the head yet tho! Ob. thinks thats where baby will stay now so hopefully he is right!
Ive just put on 7.5 kgs.. apparently i will put on 500g's a week from now on tho so the weight is going to start piling on! Still feeling really good, have my slack days but then i have big cleaning days so i make up for it!
Dh gets home tomoro arvo for his week off.. yay! Gonna definitely get our baby shopping done and do the nursery. Oh and i want to kinda get my hospital bag ready too.. if u girls have time cld u pls let me know what u have packed?? The hospital has said i will be there for 4 nights. Ive only got one maternity bra so far, shld i be buying more?? Its just so hard cos i have no idea what size i am going to be once my milk comes in?! Theres so much to remember to pack.. like all the little things like shampoo and cond etc..! I think i need to make a list..
Oh can anyone be bothered to go back and find the list of whos going to pop next and copying and pasting it in here?? :) Wld love to see it!
Anyway better get myself to bed, gonna try and beat the full on sun and get the backyard mowed in the morning!

reet - i dont have fb either! well i did but i deleted it! awww loooook at your belly its soo cute!! xx

Thats one beautiful belly Reet. Reet I did go in yesterday and spoke to a midwife who is brilliant. She could palp the BH's and agreed with me that that is all they are seeing as rest and lying down makes them go away 99% of the time and they are rarely painful or even enough to make me pull up. She gave me a lecture about NOT DTD until 36weeks and we both had a laugh that DH had already beat her to it. I didn't have a CTG as things were really hectic (someone was having a PPH and an emergency c/s) so if I get anymore painful tightenings or bub isn't active I'll go in today for some monitoring. Oh and the midwife spoke to the Dr who said he would continue to stop labour with drugs if it were to happen until I hit 36weeks. As its been going on for such a long time I'm now confident we will not be meeting our little bubba for a few weeks yet at earliest. I'm sure things would be ramping up by now if it was going to eventuate into something.

Reet-not always miss Ella has put on 1 and a half pound in the last 2 weeks and my weight has not budged since 30 weeks and since then she is gaining pretty quick but i dont seem to be.
And no signs of labour here but i can tell my body is getting ready.
Are you having a natural birth or ceasar?
My hospital bag contains.
Comfy yoga pants
singlet tops
maternity bras
comfy undies
maternity pads
breast pads
toiletries
slippers
3/4 sport/cargo pants and shirts if i feel like getting dressed and comfy for stitches
PJ's
nipple cream
money
i have packed a bit because i know i will be there a few days having a ceasar.
Oh and a dress to wear home to feel normal.
And forshelby and i are next in line i think around the 16th.
Just gotta take boys to school i will be back in 20 min to finish persies.

Reet-thanks that link worked what a nice neat belly you have your's looks very much like mine nice neat and tight thats proberbly why i get told all the time OH! your so tiny but i know little miss isnt i have always just carried really well i will have to post a pic of my belly later DH is fixing our laptop cause the mouse button sh#t itself so i am on the one of the boys laptops.
Mildez-well at least you know it's just BH i have been getting heaps too.
And would they really try to stop your labour if it happened i mean bub would be fine at 34 35 weeks i know of heaps of bubs born from 33 weeks onwards that had no extra care just observation or maybe a bit of jaundice.
Anyway not long for you it is going so fast.
Dory-so has the ttc urge kicked in yet seeing as though little Hannah is such a good bub i bet it wont be long and you will be in here again and we will be stalking your pregnancy.
Anyway sorry if i didnt get to everyone i have to go get capsule fitted today was ment to be done monday but i put it off now Ella is coming a bit early i am getting it done
And then off to the OB to be booked in for my ceasar well he better give me a date i dont want anymore u/s to check placenta it is not going to move enough now so i will not take the risk i want her out while everything is perfect so i will demand he give me a date today.
-
Yes Ferrals I would want a date now also. Your close enough and almost term and the placenta isn't going to change enough in the next week to enable a vag delivery. Looking forward to hearing little Miss Ella's eviction date.
They had every intention of stopping my labour with DD but before the Dr arrived my waters broke spontaneously and her heartrate was showing signs of distress so it was full stem ahead until they smart Ob decided I needed speeding along. Load of bull when by the time he ask for Synto I could feel the DD's head in my bum and she was born shortly afterwards. I would have been 8-9cm when they drip went up. I'm not disappointed I have changed obs.

Alish- Sometimes i wish i cld get rid of facebook, but i just cant do it! haha. Plus i have been the biggest hermit for like the last year and hardly EVER see anyone so i guess its good that they can kinda be there on my pg journey.. well see pics of tummy etc. It helps me to feel not so isolated!
Mildez- Oh im glad that the midwife wasnt concerned about ur BH's.. wow ur gonna die not DTD for another few weeks! Do they believe it cld bring labour on?? From 37 weeks onwards ill be trying to get as many sessions in as possible i think! Im glad u dont think baby will be coming for another couple weeks atleast.. as much as it wld be nice to have them a bit earlier, inside is definitely better for them, i wld hate to have feeding issues etc. if baby was a little premature. Keep baking baby! And u keep resting Mildez :)
Ferrals- Wow u havent put on any weight since 30 weeks?! Im glad u told me that! I was ready to start piling those kgs on, it was starting to scare me a bit cos i wld love to stop gaining weight once i reach that 10-12kg gain. Ill have to remember to ask my ob. wat he thinks my baby weighs at my next appointment in 2 weeks. How do they tell? Only thru u/s or ur size and feeling around?? Oh and u got me a little excited when u said ur tummy shape is a bit like mine! I wld love to have a little girl, everyone that has seen me has instantly said boy tho so im pretty convinced thats what im having! Either way im more then happy tho. I think everyone carries their babies differently tho, i dont think tummy shape is the best indicator whether its a boy or girl.. as much as my SIL thinks it is! Cant wait to see ur tummy pic! I think its great that u have such a nice tight tummy for ur 5th pregnancy! I think by my 2nd it wont be such a neat bundle anymore!
Thankyou so much for the hospital bag list, ill be copying it down soon and going shopping for a few bits and pieces on the weekend. Im actually getting really excited about packing my bag now! :) oh and im hopefully having a natural, im having it at the private hosp. here in Cairns and they just said they like having u stay for 4 nights, which ill be happy with, wanna have b/f and all the other stuff down pat before i go anywhere! Dh can stay there too the whole time so that will be nice :)
Good luck at ur ob. appointment and i hope u get a date set in stone!
Has anyone ever done or heard about the ABA course?? Its just a b/f course thats run all over Aust. that i have heard is really good, even if ur not a first time b/fer. I think i want to be as prepared as possible. Im dreading everyone telling me what to do and how to do it, i think i wld rather have my own knowledge!
Anyway have a good day ladies! :) xx
-
wow forshelby and ferrals i cant believe that you two are so close.
Dory~ i can't believe that hannah is five months old the time really flys by i know when Honor turned one month i wanted to cry.
AFM~ call me crazy but i have been thinking about in a couple of months trying to have another one. Honor has her good days and her bad days but i miss being pregnat and i always wanted to have two
-
Angel - phew, I am soo glad it's not just me.... I have been champing at the bit to get going again... I could be crazy though but at least we're in good company together.
Reet - sorry I missed you in my round up... how rude, not intentional though. How's lil Yogi? DH's and their pram wish list.... at least if you get one he has some say in, he'll he happy to push it.... that's why I got a neutral colour, at least then he won't be put off by some bright pink thing. LOL. PML re teh mental image of people in the waiting room thinking your Dad was your sugar daddy.... I didn't even think of that. I took my mum to an appointment once, she happened to be visiting and I needed some checking out, and she seemed a bit uncomfortable and even when she heard the baby's heart beat, she didn't seem that enthused. It kinda put me off inviting anyone in for appointments. Glad your invitee was suitably excited... know what you mean about being a hermit and isolated.... I am still on here heaps... my self imposed limit starts on Monday... I will only be allowed on for a certain amount of time each day... LOL let's see how that goes. What else am I to do while Hannah is asleep, certainly not housework that's for sure.... was hoping for a longer nap time today so I could, but I missed my chance to nap cause I was on BB. Oh well, time to suck it up princess for me.
Ferrals - hah, stalk away... I am so keen. You'll have a date soon.... so so cool
Mildez - glad they're only BH and that you've got a new obs ( sorry the last one wasn't much to talk about thou) LOL re no DTD. It's only a short drought.
Forshelby - hiya.. bet you're so over the whole baby bump now..... not long sweetie.
Got to run. toodles
