Damprye~ When i got pregnat with this one i was measuring behind also but now she measures right on time i am sending you some good vibes.
Millyd~ please stay postive anything can happen.
After everything me and DP have been through, he now wants to abort our baby! He has decided that he doesn't want anymore kids. I think for the protection of me and this babe, I will have no choice but to leave him :'( He has never had to go through the physical and mental ramifications of m/c or stayed with a partner after abortion so I do not believe he is entitled to any opinion on the matter yet alone try and force me to go agains my morals! If it was to sick or was killing me then yes I wouldn't have any choice but with a healthy pregnancy, no bloody way! I have supported others through abortion but friends should be supported even when they are doing something you find immoral as long as noone is trying to force you to go against your own morals. There is no reason why this baby would not live a good life even if I had to raise it alone so as far as I am concerned right now, he can take our relationship and shove it where the sun don't shine! I am moving out ASAP
wow damprye: take it easy when you move! do you have a support network you can rely on? sorry you partner feels this way.
oh milly will be thinking of you today, hope your scan shows a lovely little 12weeker!
damprye: sorry to hear hun, hopefully he was just being silly and worried for you.. but if you do move out please take it easy!
milly: best of luck for today i hope it turns out wonderful for you.
everyone else: hey! hope its all going well.
afm: went to my local gp yesterday, cuz ive done 3 home preg tests he isnt going to send me for the confirmation blood test, the blood tests i am going for today is the blood group, fbe and antibody scan?? i dunno whatever!! he isnt sending me for the rubella and hiv one cuz i only had that done in june. i just want it to be next friday so i can see if my little baby is ok!
Alish: Sorry you have a week to wait to see your baby! Some Dr just dont get it do they, why not just give you the blood test you wanted! Will be thinking of you!
damprye~ I am so sorry for your partners stand on things. But take it easy please i know easyer said then done.
damprye gee what a shock. I can understand that need to take yourself and belly bub and run. I hope everything is ok under the circumstances. Am thinking of you.
Millyd: I remember you from the last time you were here. I'm sorry you've had such a tough time. No one should have to go through that. I really hope you get good news at your next scan and that, as you say, it is because of your uterus position bub is hiding a bit. I will have everything crossed for you.
Mildez, that's an amazing story about that lady. Seems miraculous. LOL about you keeping your DH on his toes. Sure he will want another baby after how lucky he's getting with this pg! Thanks for your kind words. Yes, it seems there is always something to worry about and I wasn't like this with DD but i've lost my innocence after my losses. Hopefully it will improve though.
Damprye: Wow, you've had some real ups and downs the last few months. I can understand why you would want to protect your baby. What a shock to hear that from your DP after all you've been through to get pg. I hope the next 10 days go as fast as they can and that you get good news at your next scan.
Ferrals: you poor BD-starved thing! LOL at you saying 'i miss you' to the goodie drawer! I hope you get your wish and placenta has moved up at the next scan! I must admit there is no action at our house. I'm too scared. Last time i miscarried it was the day after we DTD. My OB says there's no medical reason not to DTD but agreed most women with my history are too scared. I think i'll give it a rest till (if) i make it to 12 wks.
Reet: Yep, definitely hard to hold on to that reassured feeling but i hope i will get better at is as time goes on (if baby sticks).
Angelfish: Hope you are managing with bed rest and your BF is still doing more to help. You are getting very close to having your baby in your arms.
Alish: Roll on next Friday! Can't wait for you. I decided not to get HCGs done this time because even if they were good my OB said that did not tell us as much as a scan showing a heartbeat. So i decided to hang out for that.
Tegam::hello:
AFM: I had two days of feeling really queasy and then it died down again. Not sure what to make of that. Feeling really hungry (and start to feel sick if i don't eat soon enough) and tired and headachey but otherwise not feeling very pg. But no more bleeding so i just have to wait and see.
hi girls. On my phone so working from memory.
Possum, yay for a boy!
Millyd, my thoughts are with you hun, be strong.
Damprye, sounds like you'll be better off without him..... He's jerked you around so much it seems he only thinks of himself.
AFM very scary night last night. i woke up at 1am with a tight hard sore belly, and feeling sick as a dog. clever me jumped in the shower and proceeded to be violently ill (both ends.... TMI!!) for at least half an hour. Dp slept through my sobbing and um gurgling which is probably best as it was quite undignified to say the least. This morning i had backpain so called the hospital. apparently all is ok as long as i dont have any more tight sore tummy, backpain doesnt increase and im not leaking fluid. so far so good.
Sorry for the me post, just feeling a bit rattled after such an awful night. my back still hurts, time for panadol i think.
Millyd-I dont know what to say but what a horrible time you are having i hope your u/s goes better today.
I have a tilted uterus it has never caused me any problems but i have read of women who have had problems with it.
Damprye-I cant believe he would do that after everything but you have to do what is best for you and your bub.
I hope the u/s tech just didnt measure spot on and next scan will match your dates.
Possum magic-no bleeding is a great sign go with that and try to relax a bit if you can.
Forshelby-ewww you poor thing and i hope while in the shower it all went down the drain so you didnt have to clean up.
AFM-Had my GD test and i have been left with a huge black and purple bruise/lump and then had my midwife appt all is perfect little miss is very happy in their HB at a nice 140bpm and measuring spot on she said if i dont get a call by this arvo my GD came back normal so looks like i am in the all clear.
Now just for my 32 week u/s to see whats happening with this placenta so we know if its a definate c section or not.
Forshelby: Bit confused...yay for a boy??? Feel better soon. Sounds horrid.
Ferrals: Excellent. Definitely good to avoid GD.
AFM: Struggling a bit. Bad cramping and feeling sick again this arvo but still no blood. WTF? :wall: I have symptoms like this and I get convinced the baby won't make it. Praying like mad this cramping is just part of pg and something to do with position of implantation that i'm cramping in a different position to my pg with DD. It would be a hell of an irony to mc today: I was 7wks pg and miscarrying in June 2010 when my best friend told me she was 12 wks pg. (I found that really tough). Then today, my best friend is currently in labour with that baby and i am just about 7wks pg again. It just can't happen again!!!
Forshelby- that sound horrible. I hope you rehydrated well afterwards. Under the circumstances the shower was probably the best place to be esp if both ends cos both ends don't fit to well in the loo together lol.
Possum- I have gotten the worst cramps this pg. There have been times where the pain has been so bad and have also felt like I was about to flood everywhere (sorry tmi) but it hasn't happened yet and I hope it doesn't for either of us.
Ferrals- Glad to hear that your GD test came back normal :)
Thank you all for your support. I went home today to grab my work clothes. I think DP was home but other than creeping to the hallway, kept away from me which is good otherwise IDK what I would do. I havn't even tried txting him since yesterday although I have thought about so much I would love to say to him but I am not going to be the petty one. Not much to reporton the pg front other than the nausea is making me question if I should stay seated or start moving just in case lol.
I’ve been MIA again, just have no energy and keep forgetting to get onto BB and see what everyone is up to, just caught up with everything
For those who have had bleeds – I’m keeping my fingers crossed that everything is fine. I had several bleeds this pregnancy between 7 and 13wks, the last one was bright red and lasted for over 12 hours and was accompanied by painful cramps, and so far everything is going well (I’m 28wks 4d today).
To all the newbies – Welcome!
Melstar – I felt DS move around 14wks, but didn’t realise it was him until 16 & 1/2wks during the middle of my engagement party lol, and with this bub I felt her move at 10 & 1/2 wks, so it’s definitely not too soon to feel them move, especially if your placenta is at the back. This is also bub #2 and pregnancy #8 for me.
Reet – My bladder is the same as yours lol everything says it’s supposed to ease up in the 2nd trimester, but mine only got worse, and now that I’ve hit the 3rd trimester it’s gotten even worse again lol probably because Little Miss Dragonfly is already head down and likes to use my bladder as a punching bag lol.
Tegam – I can’t remember if I’ve said it already or not, but HUGE CONGRATS on the birth of Molly, and I’m so glad everything is going well.
Angelfish – Not long to go now until you meet your little bub!
Regarding DTD – I’m not getting any here... haven’t had any since the bleed at 11wks, so I’m envious of all of you who have lol not that I have any urge to DTD at all anyway, completely different to when I was pregnant with DS when I wanted it ALL the time lol
Millyd – I had a tilted uterus with DS and the sonographer had a very hard time finding him at the 6wk & 12wk scans. There is also the possibility that you were pregnant, lost a bub without knowing it and got pregnant again and it’s still early days... I hope it’s just the tilted uterus making it hard to see your bub though and will be keeping my fingers crossed for you.
Damprye – I wish I’d been as strong as you with my first angel *hugs* if he’s saying that now then he shouldn’t have any say in what happens in the future. It’s your body, your bub and your decision. I hope you’ve got a good support network around you while you move!
Forshelby – *hugs* darl, hope you’re feeling better soon, I remember when I had that at 16wks, was the most horrid 18 hours of this entire pregnancy and I got so dehydrated. Keep your fluids up, drink small sips every 5-10 minutes and when you can eat again stick to very bland foods – grated apple is great for helping to get everything to bind back together again, and its also good to use for bub when he/she is on solids and gets it too.
Afm – Only 11 & 1/2wks to go til term!
I had my OB appointment on the 29th, went well and my fundal height is only measuring 5wks ahead now. My 2hr GTT test was on he 30th, I haven’t heard back yet so I’m assuming everything is good in that department.
I had the ward tour on the 5th, which went well. I’m very impressed with my local hospital, they have big baths in the birthing rooms, and I was assured that every vaginal birth is midwife-led and as long as bub comes out making a sound and doesn’t need resuscitation or any assistance breathing then she will be placed on my belly skin-to-skin and allowed to have her first feed from the boob as they prefer not to have the first feed being from a bottle like it was with DS when I was in recovery after the c-section.
After bub is born – if it’s a vaginal birth - I get moved to another room which has a double bed and hubby is allowed to stay with me for the 2 nights I’ll be in hospy.
So all in all it should be a good experience as long as everything goes to plan.
I‘m going to a friends baby shower tomorrow, so should be interesting, then I have another OB appointment on the 19th, and my baby shower on the 22nd, so should be an interesting month.
Not looking forward to the 21st though as that will be the 6th anniversary of the day I lost my first angel... I’m still having trouble believing that it’s been 6 years already, sometimes it feels like it’s been lifetime and other times it feels like just yesterday.
I hope everyone else is doing ok.
possum, lol i dunno..... Working from memory is not my forte.... Lol. Lets put that down to pg brain.
Thanks everyone for the advice, feeling a lot better tonight just a tad shaky and was afraid of dinner lol. I had plain toast and water... Ooohhh fancy!
hey all!
sorry for now personals, too hard to keep up sometimes, i do read them though!!
had anyone ever experienced low nausea?? i get dizzy and feel a little sick but nothing to make me wanna run to the toilet, is this normal for some people??
Alish, I think that is normal for everyone :) in some people it develops into having to run to the loo as the pregnancy progresses but not everyone does vomit. I vomited once with DS and that is only because I had to drink a litre of water without eatingand not eating made me feel nauseas and so did drinking water before noon. With this pg, no actual ms yet but isgetting to the point that right not I'm not sure if I should be laying here or if I should get up some time soon lol
thanks damprye.. i just dont have any confidence :( i guess that cant be helped!
hows it going for you? where are you staying??
Hey Alish, I'm due the day before you so they both have to stick so we can be belly buddies :D I'll even warn you when I get actual morning sickness just incase it is your turn the next day lol.
DP has gotten me to calm down and we are still living together and still a couple but we are giving each other space for the time being. They say a woman becomes a Mother when she falls pregnant and a man becomes a Father when he holds his child for the first time. So I am hoping that he has only freaked out and will settle down
thats fantastic news im so happy for you..
and men think we over-react lol!
Thought I would pop in and say hello.
So I had better let you all know that FX I may be joining you in here soon cause this morning I FINALLY got my BFP, been testing everyday since 10DPO and the line is getting DARKER, I have only been using the internet cheapy tests as I only have 1 FR test here and can't get to town to get any more as the road is cut due to floods, so it's my bday tomoro and I will use my FR test then as I will then be 15DPO. FX it comes up super dark for me and I have a very sticky little bub growing inside me please.
Omg!!! Clairesmummy!!!! Yayyyyy! Im so so so very happy for you! Woohooooooo!!!
Wow stoked I can't believe you are 10 weeks PG that just flew past darl. And Thank you so much, I never thought I would get to join any of you in here so thank goodness for Clomid. What a wonderful wonderful drug.

Alish~ Thanks darl. How are you going? Hope all is well with you and bub.
Thank you Tegam, can't wait to get to know you all in here it will take me awhile to believe that i am actually in here after 28months of TTC. And thank you for the bday wish for tomoro.
Stoked I started the Clomid this cycle on CD5-9 at 100mg a day and so far no SE appart from moodiness and O pain. But FX I get that super BFP tomoro, so far so good the line has been getting darker everyday for me...Great to hear bub is healthy and happily snuggling inside your belly that's awesome darl.
I am soooooo excited to be finally in here with you, just in time before I started reading everyones BAs. lol....

Alish-never had morning sickness never vomited with any of my pregnancies so it is perfectly normal.
A quicky before work... lol that sounds wrong :p
Clairesmummy- Congrats hun, sending sticky vibes your way.
Melster- I'm doing ok atm. Me and DP are working on things again which is good cos I am in a really horny mood today and I get grumpy if I don't get to DTD when I want lol.
AFM- Not really feeling so pregnant today other than queasyness, bbs are less sore but is ok cos I know symptoms often come and go :) Now time for work lol
CONGRATS CLAIRESMUMMY :happyforyou::happyforyou::confetti::confetti:
Yah Clairesmummy so glad to see you in here! hasnt been the same without you. Sending you lots of sticky vibes you must be over the moon the clomid has worked first time :D
Have a great birthday tommorow!!!!
Thank you everyone, now I'm just hoping and praying that when I do my test in the morning with my 1 an only FR test I get my BFP..... Today I am 14DPO and no sign of AF toch wood. Been very hungry yesterday and today and feeling pretty darn exhausted as well.
So how are you going Kell? Hope all is well for you and bub......
Yep 6 months yesterday its going fast hes having a disco dance in there tonight all is great i love feeling him move around.
i hope you get a nice strong line tommorow those symptoms sound really promising. Will that make it a sep bubba i think that a great time of the year to have a baby!
What you doing for your birthday? hope you are going to be really spoilt :D
Nothing special planned for my bday, Dh has to work and DD is off with her dad at lunch time for a few days. So it's going to be a very quiet boring day for me. I'm hoping that I get my BFP in the morning and that will carry me through my boring day I have planned....lol...
Wow I can't believe you are 6months along already, wow time flies by. Well i s.pose I had better have my shower then I think I will hit the hay, I feel sooooo tired.
clairesmummy- im going great thanks, my first internal will be on friday.. im not too confident but thats only cuz of whats happened.
ferrals - thanks, makes me feel a bit better!!
Clairesmummy: Hooray!!! :happyforyou:
So excited for you. Great news that Clomid worked so fast. Hope you have a wonderful birthday tomorrow!
Alish: I had no morning sickness until the start of this week (6wks pg) then felt really queasy for two days, fine for another two and then went back to feeling nauseous again. As ferrals says, not everyone gets sick but i think even if they do it sometimes doesn't kick in until anywhere up to 8wks pg.
Damprye: Thanks so much. It helped to hear someone else is also having strong cramps. I also have felt at times that i'm about to 'flood' but so far only that small bleed 6 days ago. Praying neither of us will. Sounds like you are pleased that things have settled with DP. I hope things keep going well for you. (Great that there is no immediate stress about where to live).
Forshelby: Hope you are feeling all better by the morning.
Iona Macca: Great to see your ticker moving along. How are you going?
Kellbell: Can't believe you are 6mths already. It seems like only a little while that you got your BFP!
Melster: I know that feeling of fear but all seemed well when you got a scan a couple of weeks ago and once you've seen a heartbeat at 10wks i believe the odds of not seeing one at 12 (or 13wks) are extremely small. I'm sure there'll be good news for you on Monday. Sorry things are difficult with DH and skids. Must be very challenging.
Joeve: I hope you are in here again really soon...
Jenna: That is so great to hear how well you are doing after everything you've been through. Thank you for your story about surviving bleeds in this pg. It's awesome that your babyshower is coming up so soon and you are getting into countdown mode for your due date.
Ferrals, Thopes, Stoked, Tegam, Dory, and anyone else i missed: hope you are all well.
AFM: Feeling crampy but nowhere near as bad as yesterday. It's not scaring me today. Probably because i've also been feeling nauseous all day and completely wiped (i.e I feel pregnant!) Well, my best friend had a baby girl... and ATM my bubba is still going ok as far as i know. Very relieved. I'm 7wks now (when i lost the last one). My next goal is to get past 9wks (when I started bleeding with my first mc). That would be awesome. Today, i believe i actually might!
