AFM~ I am 36 weeks today cant believe it. Bedrest is bedrest but my BF does not understand how important that it is that i follow it.The best part of bestrest is feeling her move. We have gotten allot of snow latly makes me nervous about if the LO wants to come in the middle of a bad snow storm.
Angelfish: Woo Hoo! 36wks! Amazing. I hope you don't get snowed in and can rest comfortably for a while longer.
OMG I am in total shock here and I can not believe my eyes, I just got my :bluecheer::bfp::cheer: now I just have to send the little rascal tonnes and tonnes of :stickyvibesgirl::stickyvibesboy:
Thank you for all the congrats ladies but I just couldn't and can't even comprehend a BFP for me. I do FEEL pregnant this time, tired, starving, HB, BA. I am now just praying bub stays safe and healthy for the next 8-9months.

clairesmummy - yes very tired!! on the weekends i have arvo naps! its hard to not sleep in my lunch breaks through the week!!
I had DH home a couple of days ago and he kept DD quiet for me and I fell asleep for 3 hours just before lunch, I never sleep through the day unless I am really sick or PG. I couldn't believe how long I had been asleep for when I woke up. It was like someone gave me a sleeping pill, lol.
Hi ladies!
I was just hoping for some advice. I got my BFP this round about a week ago and had my BETA checked and everything looked good. Now I'm back to panicking again and I am so anxious I can't think! What did you ladies do that helped you get through the first trimester? BT, U/S, POAS? I have nausea, sore BB's and an extremely tired, but I'm just so worried.

Bec, congratulations!! You have some great signs there that everything is going perfectly. I guess your symptoms are the best reassurance! I had four bhcg and I've had fortnightly u/s but I've got hardly any symptoms! My next u/s is the 12 week one then I have no idea how I'm going to go for 8 weeks until the next one!
Today is my due date for our last angel. We have bought a beautiful cherry tree to plant in our backyard. Feeling ok so far, a bit teary, but ok.

happy B'day clairesmummy. I also used FRER just to get my awesome looking BFP. I done it after my betas confirmed pregnancy, I just wanted to finally see my lines lol.
Bec- I am still early in my first trimester and just living for my next appt. I have had multiple betas done, u/s to check size and for HB and POAS a few times lol. I have weekly doc appts atm.
AFM- When I get busy at work I start to get dizzy and fceel like I about to pass out and/or hurl. IDK what to do. I can't quit cos then I couldn't afford to live. I am a kitchenhand so there is lots of running back and frth and rush, rush, rush. Am in a rather depressed mood today as well, probably cos I feel really sick and tired. I wish DS would go back to sleep so I can as well before I start work this morning.
Stoked~ Thank you darl, and sending you some huge cyber hugs for today and what a wonderful thing to do for your angel bub, we planted 8 tomato bushes here for our angel bub in November and we can't eat the tomatoes quick enough, for the past week we have been getting a 10lt bucket full of them every day to every 2nd day. I have never seen so many tomatoes come off a few bushes....lol....Thinking of you today darl and take it easy, have a hot bath and some choccies to keep you relaxed you deserve them hun. xox
Thanks Damprye, the funny thing is that before I took the test this morning at 5am I was dreaming about POAS and my BFP. The test line is not as dark as the control line but it is definately there for me.. And right now my tummy is grumbling something chronic sounds like monsters in there, so I had better go and feed the monsters. lol
Thanks Stoked. I got my BFP on the EDD of my last angel and that helped a lot. Unfortunately my FS is away untill the 24th, but I'm booked in for then, and I think I might go to my GP and ask for repeat bhcg maybe this week and next. I just need some reassurance I think. Thanks so much!

I am heading off to my GP tomoro if I can get in and asking for a referral to my OB/GYN but this time he told me to ask for a Pregnancy referral, I just can't believe it. I rang my Ob/Gyn the other day and told him I think I might be pregnant and told him about getting the faint line on a test and he says to me- When you are ready to admit you are PG and want to confirm it I can go to my GP and get a referral off of her.....LOL....I sat on the ph stunned for a few seconds trying to analise what he said to me then it was like a light bulb switched on in my brain and said HELLO you twit he is telling you in a nice way I am/was in denial of being PG......makes me laugh now when I think about it......

damprye.....yep still happens now if i cough or sneeze too hard...its very painful
bec.....welcome and congratulations.....im 13 weeks and i have just started to find some peace...i think it helps with the milestones u reach and with time...every week i new i was getting closer to the safer time. It was tough for me and i really struggled.....so talking to these girls on here really helped me...have frequent scans and talking to my ob.....good luck...hope everything is good

Got my scan at 1230 tom.........hate having to hold that water while they push and poke my stomach...last time i wore a pad for any accidents...my legs are badly burnt...ouch...took dd swimming and i made sure she was protected with hat.....bathers..sunscreen..and while i put mine on i must have got distracted on some bits of my legs and i am red as red......other than that im having a lazy day...feeling pretty hormonal but i have been this whole pregnancy...
Melster~ Thank you, I took the Clomid for 1 cycle only just started them this cycle so I am pretty impressed with the Clomid right now. Good Luck with your scan tomoro darl, I will be waiting to hear how you go. I'm sure everything is great with bub though.
Oh bec, i just stressed! Sorry, i had a scan at 5weeks which showed a sac but they couldnt get a heartbeat, so more stress til an 8 weeks scan and then the 12week scan! Really only stopped stressing after the 20week scan, but also didnt feel emotionally attached to Molly until she was born. Sad i know but nothing could get my head around the fact that i would get to keep the pregnancy. It was the best moment in my life when my DH put her on my chest!
Its going to be a long pregnancy but we are all here for you and will support you as much as we can!

Becnxavi-welcome hun we have all been there i hope you get through these anxious weeks quickly.
Damprye-OMG! yes and the more kids you have the worse it is i have really good tight stomach muscles and still have a small hard belly for almost 29 weeks but the ligaments from 5 pregnancies just dont like sudden movements at all.
AFM- bub is perfect i am feeling good i have my 32 week u/s on the 2nd of feb to check this placenta other than that DH still cant get work we are struggling terribly and now more poor fur baby is sick he developed a cloudy eye over night and i have to take him to the vet tomorrow i do have pet insurance but you have to pay up front and claim it back WHAT ELSE CAN GO WRONG FOR US did we run over a china man or something.
wow 32week scan ferrals, thats amazing its so close! I know everything else is in a mess for you but i am so happy that the pregnancy is smooth at the moment! Bugger about your puppy!
Thanks tegam yeah not to long til 2nd of feb and 32 weeks its starting to get close now.
And its my puddy cat Mowgli my dogs are hardy and never get sick (touch wood) but mowgli and sarabi are my devon rex puddys that DH brought me to help with the pain and emptiness after losing Abbi.

Tegam - it's so good to see you posting! I had no idea that the start of your preg with Molly was exceptionally stressful.... I am so glad she's here - little precious girl.
Dampyre - I don't remember ever having a feeling like that when I sneeze. About feeling dizzy and run down and nauseated? I used to feel that way a lot.... I used to find in early preg a berocca helped me as did making sure I always had high energy snacks like dried fruit, nuts, museli bars and I also made sure I drank a lot of water too... but maybe check with the pharmacist before you take berocca if you are also taking preg supplements? I used to take both... but berocca does make your pee go fluro yellow! A bit of a shock at first! Hope you feel better and get through your shifts.
Forshelby - GL with the new phone..... it takes me soo long to master new technology. I am about due for a new phone as the current one is slowly breaking apart... arghh ... learning how a new one works will be painful and frustrating. But lots of fun once I work it out.
AFM - bit glum today. My brother turned 50 yesterday but he had a fall in the shower, cracked his head, split his lip, gashed his leg and wrist. He started to vomit blood as the party started so off to the hossy for him. Can you believe as he stopped vomiting at the hossy they didn't give him any antienemtic meds? And of course once home again he started to vomit again. He has an acquired brain injury and can't really get around himself or manage his health by himself. I am soooo annoyed. At least he might have been a bit more comfortable if he wasn't vomiting. I am off to see a neurologist on Wednesday. Have been having some funny warming sensations ( which I think is called neuropathy) in my feet which is progressing to my legs, and arms and hands. Will have a whole heap of tests done, to try and find out what is the cause. Seems from Dr Google ( LOL) it can be caused by some serious stuff and also some not so serious stuff... like too much vit b6. Oh well, at least it's a step in the right direction to get to the bottom of it. I suppose I feel glum because on top of all that, I still have a dreaded cold, after 2 week... though it is getting better and I am generally feeling much better, guess it's just the emotional stuff bringing me down.

Dory~ i am so sorry to hear about your brother. I hope they find out what is going on with you. And also feel better with that cold
Aww dory your poor brother. i hope he recovers quickly, and same goes for you with your cold. Good luck with your strange symptoms too. Hopefully its nothing to worry about.
Afm- I had one of those random bad nights sleep, and am so exhausted today. But being the cool auntie I am (lol) I promised to make pancakes for breakfast. So after doing that, I'm wiped out! Later on we're doing nails and hair and all that girlie stuff. That is if i can sit up long enough to pull off a braid.

Forshelby - you ARE a fab auntie - hope the braids went well.... those poor sleeps when pregnant are exhausting... guess your little squashie was pulling an all nighter? Must have had a big assingment due - like growing eyelashes or just putting on some lard.....

AFM - All well here - cant beleive i am 18wks tomorrow! Never thought i would get here! We have our morph scan in 14 sleeps! So so excited! I started swimming last week, just gentle laps at the local pool and I feel so good for it! DH comes with me, he is not much of a lap swimmer so he just practices his somersaults and doggy padel in the public lane! LOL! So funny to see a 31 y/old playing around like a 10 y/old! He is gunna be the best dad! Then when its tiem to get out, he races over and grabs my towel for me cause im paranoid about ppl seeing my cellulite! hehhehe!
Im having a lot of pain when i wee but not like a UTI pain, been happening for a few weeks and worst overnight and now have pain in my left kidney area. My back area just aches and aches over night. My bladder doesnt seem to be emptying proply either, 2 mins after i wee, i feel like there is more, but its always just a little dribble!
Anyone have anything like this?
Anyway, im back at work today so i guess i better do some work!!!

Dory- lol! Probably working on the lard assignment judging by my rapid belly growth. So good to hear you're feeling better. :hug:
T-hopes- That really sounds like the beginnings of a uti to me. I've had them before and it didn't always burn etc but all the other symptoms were present like you've been experiencing. Time to bust out the cranberry juice and get stuck into some water. I hope it gets better fast!
I agree with forshelby about the UTI T-hopes. Cranberry juice is brilliant and the more water you have the more likely your bladder is always filling and I found it stopped the pain. Also those probiotics you can get from the chemist (innerhealth plus type thing) have helped me a lot in the past and they are ok for pregnancy according to my chemist. HTH

I've found mine have all felt a bit different, from barely noticable to a trip to the er. Good plan tho, a bit of precautionary juice couldn't hurt.
Yeah i guess I have never had one during pregnancy - so maybe they just feel different now?!
Thank you everyone for the congrats and happy bday wishes. I am soooooooooooooo excited to be in here with you all and hopefully I will be in here now for the next 8months. I have been pretty moody lately though getting grumpy with DH for no real reason even to the point of me telling him if he can't make it to my DRs appointment this afternoon it won't matter.....oooppssss my bad. He got cranky with me then and said if I can't be with you for this I might as well not be a part of any of it, he got his point across to me anyhow...like BIG time. So now I feel really bad for saying it to him. But ah well I will deal with that and get over it and TRY to keep my mood swings to a minimum for us all. I can remember being like this with DD all moody and grumpy then I went to crying like a baby over nothing at all. Fun times ahead for us all but definately ALL worth it in the end. Anyhoo sorry for the all about me post ladies.

I was talking to a midwife the other day and telling her my fears of going into labour prematurely and she said the number 1 reason for having ur baby early is UTI's but no1 really gets told this. She said every few days pg ladies shld have a tsp of bicarb soda mixed in water (yuck!) to neutralise things and to help prevent UTI's and also another way to prevent them is to make sure u pee after sex everytime. It freaked me out a little cos i thought i was getting one last week wen i cldnt stop peeing heaps but only little amounts... things seem to be ok now. Im not telling u this to freak u out but i think its something worth knowing!! :) Bust out that ural (or bicarb soda) and cranberry juice just incase! :) xx

I went and had another bhcg done becasue I was so stressed and it's 2313 at 5w 1 or 2d, up from 227 6 days ago, so it doubling nicely! My lovely GP said I can have as many BT as I like (I'm having another on Wednesday) and he'll arrange a scan for me for later in the week now that hcg is high enough. He's brilliant my GP!!!
