hey possum! i think it was because he was going away for 6 weeks and he wanted to deliver maybe?? im not sure i never asked him lol i just wanted a small baby :P next appt will be tuesday i think.. i might ask them to do a ve/s&s then. i am very uncomfortable & feeling unwell. i also keep pulling my hip & knee out.
those movies with all those graceful pregnant people have alot to answer for ;)

Going well here - had lots of BH yesterday which was an odd day - either that or bubs was moving so much it was triggering them. Was a quiet baby last evening though! Off to the Ob today and will get my GD test results. My friend who is my student midwife is coming along today - as is DH (for the first time this pregnancy, slacker), so we'll be filling the Ob's rooms!
Alish - I hope your bub lets you be a little more comfortable, or comes along soon, those last few weeks are hard work! And yes, I hate gorgeous, glamorous, elegant pregnant women - I have a couple in my life at the moment, and I feel like a ginormous pregnant horse in comparison!
Jess - hope your scan goes well, it'll be good to see your LO again!
Saffy and clairesmummy, still thinking of you - I hope you are both well.

Just went to my appointment and it was good - no GD, bubs is still high but no issues, strong hb, lots of movement. We were a cast of thousands - DH, DS and my friend the student middy were all along today. It was quite odd actually considering I've been on my own with DS for each appointment up to now - I'll have to get used to it! And last pg it was just me and DH, cos DS was in utero!

AFM~ I go in on Friday to have another scan done the bub was not willing to let the tech see the heart. With me having type two diebeites its one thing that they have to worry about but sorry i have been away for awhile i have been busy moving

I had my 20 week scan this week, and we found out we are having a Baby GIRL!!! Pidgeon pair for us! Measuring exactly to dates, and bouncing around with abandon! The only problem was a low lying placenta, and OB is a little worried about placenta accretia because of my previous c-section and d&c in Feb. Another scan at 34w, so hopefully everything is fine!
I hope everyone is well, and I'll try to pop in more often!

Alish~ How are you going darl? And I have a question for you what the hang is an EPO tablet? Sorry for ignorance darl but I truly have never even heard of it, ;)

The Mrs~ How did your scan go and did you get to find out if bub is girl or boy?
WBM~ Excellent news about not having GD, I had it while I was PG with my DD and it was horrible cause all I craved while PG with her was sickly sweet stuff so getting GD was like torture to me, lol. Great things are flowing along smoothly for you darl. ;)
Angelfish~ Good luck with your scan on Friday hope it all goes well for you and bub behaves this time so you can get a clear pic of him/her.
Bec~ Congrats on your news of having an adorable little girl awesome news darl. I am just so happy everything is going well for you this pregnancy.
AFM~ Well I rocked up at my GP appointment the other day to have this lump removed from my neck and they stuffed up when they made my appointment so I couldn't get it done, so now I have to go back next Friday and have it done, which honestly did not worry me one bit, lol. So DH will be with me next time anyhow and i will make him come in and hold my hand for me for moral support. Still throwing up every few days but I think its easing off a little, although I still have very sore BBs and still feeling exhausted which I dont mind cause it reminds me all must hopefully be ok in there. I am now sailing in unchartered teritory with this pregnancy it's been over 6 years since I have been this far into a pregnancy. I am just hoping and praying with all my might this little tacker will stick around and arrive late in March. I haven't booked my 12 week scan as yet as I am trying to hold off and see things keep progressing for me. Not looking forward to that scan at all i will be a total wreck with nervousness and fear taking over that day.

clairesmummy - spewin they stuffed up your appointment - will you get your results straight away or do you have to wait a few days? yes being sick is a great sign, but you neednt worry everything is going to be fine :)
wbm - glad you dont have gd! and glad dh came along! mines hardly come to any appts either! too hard to get off work which is fair enough
angelfish - good luck for today, hope you lo cooperates.
added: clairesmummy - sorry i forgot to answer your question - epo is evening primrose oil tablets - its said to soften your cervix if inserted up there. im not sure if it works or not but im just trying EVERYTHING to get this kid out :D
another lovely day here today, might tan my belly some more :) gets rid of the stretchies haha!

That's all for today - must run off to go shopping for a card and wrapping paper - my SIL's induction started yesterday arvo (gel), they're doing an AROM today, so hopefully I'll get to meet my neffy later today - or more likely, tomorrow, either way it's EXCITING!

Yay! My neffy was born safe and sound at 6:20 this evening :D Induction was a no go - apparently it was never going to happen and nothing started, they couldn't do the AROM. So via a controlled (rather than emergency) c-section, little Cameron was born :D So excited to be an aunty now! I get to meet him in the morning which will be lovely - so excited.
