Woohoo, huge congrats to Possum :D
I wonder how Stoked is doing.
Cheshire- Yup, get my date tomorrow. I'm going to request gels Thursday and induction Friday. Works best for one of my support people (she works and has 4kids) and the other one is avail any time. If not, then it'll still be a week or less before bub is here.

Hello Ladies!
I haven't been keeping track of this thread as i got lost somewhere when there was a new one started! Oops!
I'm still in one piece, 10 days over today. Getting very anxious to meet bub now!
Don't have time to catch up today but just thought i'd better let you know what's happening with me. Goodluck to all of you who are nearing term! Can't wait to see some BA's!
Congratulations Possum Magic!
xx
-

congratulations possum, a little girl :D hope youre all well
hello to everyone, hope youre all well xx
i seen my dr today he said it could be any day for me now - or not - cervix is very tight and head is well and truely down - just playing the waiting game now!! hurrryyyy upppppp!
-
Stoked nice to hear from you, bummer your still baking but at least you know your not that far off holding you baby boy.
Sounds like Alish, Damp & Stoked are all going to birth there bubbas around the same time, wonder who will go 1st :)
-
Possum - wow, I wasn't expecting to read that yet. That's amazing. Give that sweet girl a cuddle for me.
Sadly Minnie hasn't received good news. Her levels have dropped again and she is now awaiting a scan to confirm the loss.
AFM - I have had my diagnosis of placenta previa confirmed so they have bought my CS forward and we will get to meet bubs in just over 5 weeks.
-
Stoked- Oooo, that means that you'll be having bub in the next 4 days hey? Can't wait to see your BA :D Hopefully it'll be before mine lol.
Alish- Hopefully the pressure on your cervix from bub being down will help ripen your cervix quicker :)
Cheshire- I'll update as soon as I find out my induction date tomorrow :D
India's Mum- That is sad about Minnie's bub. Please let her know I'm thinking of her :(
Boo about the PP but yay about meeting bub in 5weeks :D
AFM- Lesson learnt. Never driving 5+ hours when 8 and a half months pregnant ever again! I have cankles, ewwww! So looking forwards to tomorrow. I get hooked up to the CTG machine as soon as I get there for about half an hour to see how bub is coping and to see if they can pick up decently timed contractions which I'm hoping it does since I can feel them. They'd slowed earlier today but started picking back up again after I relaxed for a while :) Had them most the day and so not pleased that they are hurting my back. After the CTG, I get my S&S and induction date, woohoo :D then Wednesday, my OB will do another S&S if I haven't gone into labour yet.
-
minnie - so sorry hun xx
indias mum - thats exciting - 5 weeks!! its a shame about the placenta previa though, do you have to take it very easy now?
cheshire - hows it going?? not long for you either!
damprye - yeah i hope so too! im getting pains pretty much all day - not regular though.. ive got some info on pressure points that is supposed to help bring labour on so i might try them lol.. ive got no room left and im in alot of pain! and my darling dog popped my fit ball so im off to buy another one today, it was our fault, we started bouncing it in front of him and he is obsessed with balls lol..
not long to go now.. hopefully you will go into labour naturally - maybe try those pressure points - i got them off that thread you started about beating induction
-
Damp good luck for today :D
Alish going well, only 4wks till i'm full term so she can come anytime after that :D
Minnie if you see this i'm very sorry
-
Find out the gender on sept 1st :)
-
EJ and Minnie - I'm so sorry to hear the bad news, I hope you're both doing ok
To stoked, alish and damp - labour vibes coming at you girls (especially stoked!). I hope these bubbies are good to their Mums and come soon. India's Mum, pity about the PP, I hope the c/s goes well in 5 weeks and you meet your lovely baby!
PM - congratulations on your little girl! So exciting :D
Just a quickie for me today, DH has had his wisdom teeth this morning out so is a tad on the miserable side now. Recovering from a GA is NEVER fun! Nursing duties at home for me today. Better dash and have lunch while I've got a few minutes to myself :)
-
Alish- Ooh I hope those pains get worse :D and you get your new ball very soon lol
Cheshire- Thanks :)
The Mrs- Yays only about 2weeks till you find out :D
AFM- Hehe, I have my date ;) When I was getting my s&s done, the doctor almost had a heart attack cos she just about broke my waters  when she started I was 2cm dilated and 75% effaced and very ripe. She won't be suprised if I go naturally in the next 24-48hrs. Bub decided that it was gonna be all sleepy for the CTG so they had to give me a horrid drink, which didn't work and then food. Got some great movement after I had a lil giggle fit cos I stunk out my mate, damn pregnancy gas :D
Well I guess I'd better reveal my date hehe. I will be going in for AROM on the 18th... This Thursday!!! And I have requested that they hold off on the synto as long as possible, which cos of the strep B, is 12hrs instead of 24. Happy with that though :)
-
Dampyre! Yay Baby time :) :) :)
-
:bluecheer::cheer: Go damp! Go baby, go baby
-

Nothing different here, bubs growing, toddler growing, me growing, DH healing from his op. I am annoyed at how much weight I've already put on. People keep telling me "gee, you haven't gained anything", but I have! I'm already nearly 10kg up. Not happy.
-
Minnie- So sorry your lil bubba could not stay
Thanks everyone and I hope it does end up under 8lbs :)
Starting to freak out a lil this morning so jumping in the shower to do my hair and to tidy up my lady bits one last time before bub comes.... Then I guess I should finish my hospital bags lol

Thank you everyone for your well wishes. Just got home from hospital. So enjoying my delightful DD2. She is so different in looks to DD1- DH and I now each have a little mini-me!!! I love it! So enjoying all the kisses and cuddles.
Sending hugs to Minniemouse and EmilyJames: so sorry to hear of the loss of your little ones : (
-
Stoked has had her little boy today :)
No news from Damp, her last FB post was 4hrs ago so maybe she's holding her bundle as well .
-
Oh that's so exciting for Stoked! She must be stoked (oh my gosh, that is the worst joke EVER!). A little boy :) Big congrats to her!
I hope damp is either busy birthing her baby or giving it lots and lots of hugs :)
Love new babies! PM - so glad to hear you're home and things are going well. Do you have a name for your DD2?
AFM I wish DS would realise it's NOT fun to drive Mummy up the wall and when Mummy is frustrated, sore and tired, please do what she asks!
-
Ok so I have lots and lots to catch up on, Firstly HUGE congrats to PM and Stoked on the arrivals of thier bubs, so exciting, hope you are all enjoying your new born snuggles.
Emily, Minnie~ I am so so so sorry for your losses ladies I truly am, please know my thoughts and prayers are with you both at this time.
Sorry for lack of persies ladies but here's what has been happening with me since I was last on here. I spent yet another day in hospital after suffering from SEVERE MS, I could not even keep any water down, it was just horrible. I really dont make a great patient when I am sick, they put 2 bags of fluids into me while at hospital and now they have me taking B6 tablets which seem to be keeping things settled apart from having another chuck this morning before getting out of bed. Today was also the day that I seen my FS and he did my first scan of bub for me, aannnnddddddd we have a good strong heartbeat and bub measures exactly to my dates (7weeks 6Days) which makes me feel a little more comfortable with things but we shall see as time goes by.
So thats my news for the week ladies and I will hopefully be back later for persies, if the MS stays at bay for me.
-
great news claresmummy ( about the scan, not the hospitalisation) hope the ms runs its course soon but sounds like you might have a bad case. I had my first bout of nausea today, forgive me if I celebrate!!
minnie- I'm soooo sorry to hear your news, you may not be reading here so will send a pm xxxx
hi to everyone else, too busy for persies but i'll get the motivation soon I promise.
-
Congrats Stoked :D
Sorry for lack of persies but you had it right. I have been a busy girl lol.
Tobias Gabriel was born at 5:50pm WST weighing in at 8lbs 5oz, apgars 9 & 9.
80mins of active labour, with 3mins of pushing in there that I refused to believe was happening lol. Me and bub both doing great and so happy that so much went to plan :D Night all.
-
-
Congrats Dampyre and Possum Magic!
Dampyre - 8 punds, it really was time for him to come! and such a quick labor for quite a big baby, you are my hero.
Possum - I think little girls are the best, cannot wait for my second one. I wonder often if she is going to look like her sister at all, or look differently. I have a sister and there is only 14 months between us, and when we were little we looked so different that it was hard to believe we are even related. Somehow it evened out though, and since highschool people routinely confuse us.
Clairesmummy - great news about the scan. Too bad you have to suffer through a horrible m/s. W complain when we do not have enough symptoms but too much sounds even worse.
WannabeMum - I hear what you are saying about kids not listening to very pregnant, hormonal Mummy... Too bad they are too young to realize they play with fire. My daughter came within inches of good spanking yesterday. What frustrates me is that I know that at this age she is old enough to cry just to manipulate me, and the knowledge that I am being jerked around by a toddler just makes me crazy.
-
eeeee! congrats damprye & stoked :D 2 little boys
and congrats possum, a little girl :D
ahh im so excited for all of you
omg does that mean im next :o
-
Congrats Damp on your little boy :D
Alish how exciting your next on the list to pop :D
CM so glad your scan went well, what your EDD again?
-
Congratulations Damp!! So exciting! Am I psychic or what? A boy, 8lb5oz - how long was he? Did I get that right too :) And a little Tobias (will he be Toby?) Great to hear about your labour, I look forward to a birth story :)
Clairesmummy - great news on the scan. I hope the MS doesn't stay that way, but at least you're getting treatment!
Saffy - glad things are going well, sometimes the nausea is a bonus isn't it!
Alish - I think it does make you next! By now aren't you hanging out for your baby to be in the world?
Decent night's sleep for me helped - we'll ignore the crying spell by DS at 1am and DH being up and in pain at 5am. Aside from that, I had a decent night's sleep, lol.
-
wbm - im so ready! i feel bad for wanting it to be over but i just want our baby girl in my arms!
glad you slept better xx
-
congratulations Damprye!!
