Here's a few more for you Forshelby - :bhcontract::bhcontract::bhcontract: Your doing such a great job love - hang in there! xx
forshelby.....my friend went through what ur going through. i can only imagine......wish there was something i could do for u. Sending u labor vibes and praying ur labor gets a hurry on......thinking of u
Forshelby - You go girl! Come on bubba! Sending you heaps of labour & dilation vibes!!!
afm - been getting irregular contractions all day... at least I think they're contractions... didn't get a single one for about 3 hours after I posted this morning, then started getting them approx once an hour, and I've now had 3 in the last 30mins, but as I said they're not regular... starts as pain low down along my pelvic bone, combined with my whole uterus going hard, then slowly spreads upwards towards the top of my belly and outwards over my hips and into my lower back... some have lasted only 10 seconds while others have lasted a whole minute... definately feels different from the usual BHs... just wish they'd regulate and get closer together.
Anywho, hubby & I had one of our rare DTD sessions today to see if we could get things moving again lol started getting the contractions closer together for about an hour, then they started moving apart again, so don't think it helped much lol
On the upside, DS had been good this afternoon/evening... apart from smashing the globe in the loungeroom lamp around 1pm and having some time out in his room (thank goodness for the little lock thing at the top of his door, or we'd never be able to keep him in there for long enough for him to realise he's been really naughty!).
Other than that, nothing else is happening.
If anything happens tonight (or anytime over the next week and a half really lol) I'll steal hubby's laptop to let you guys know before I head off to the hospital.
Hope you all have a better nights sleep tonight! *hugs*
Thanks T-Hopes and Melster :)
I'm trying not to get too excited, but after dinner I stood up and had a MASSIVE ctx. I had to hold onto the table and be still, then couldn't walk properly after. I then had 4more at 5mins apart and (TMI) really needed the loo.
Just sitting down now to start timing properly and see how they go. The pain is definitely on a new level now, but I'm still coping pretty well.
OMGoodness Forshelby! Sounds like things are well and truly happening :) What you're describing of them sounds just like mine, only mine aren't anywhere near as close together as your's are lol
I'll be thinking of you tonight! Can't wait to hear the good news!
come onnn forshelby & jenna!!
I've just had another one since posting, only lasted 10 seconds again... grr, driving me nuts this is, because it's too unconfortable to sit down, and too uncomfortable to stand up, and everytime it happens I feel like I have to *TMI* pee and poo at the same time
i was just saying to dh that pregnancy isnt as graceful as i thought it would be! i love it but its all gas and bloating and weeing and pimples (for me).. and poo's obviously haha!
good luck jenna & forshelby im soo excited!
:happydance: go labour, go labour, go, go, go, go labour... :happydance:
Woohoo go girls!!
Sounds like things are happening for you both
Very exciting hope you both get your beautiful births very soon
:bhcontract::bhcontract:
5 mins apart for roughly an hour. Walking is more of a shuffling now. It's still not hands and knees screaming in agony yet tho. BB is a great distraction :) I'm not able to talk through them properly, or continue with what I'm doing. But it doesn't feel enough to go to the hospital either.
Tomorrow might be the day? You may or may not hear from me for a while..
Oh and good luck Jenna! I hope your ctx don't play games with you for days on end like mine have. Arrrghhh.
Hi Girls!
Just a quickie... AGAIN!
A HUGE congratulations to Ferrals on the arrival of ur beautiful little Ella! Im so sorry to hear about the infection tho. I hope it clears up quickly and u can really begin to enjoy ur gorgeous little girl. Cant wait to hear all about her!
Forshelby- Oh forshelby... i think ur so close to having ur little baby! I keep constantly checking in here and on fb to see if things are progressing.. it really seems they are now!! I hope u can get some sleep... unless ofcourse baby wants to come tonight! U sure know how to keep us all on the edges of our seats! Am so so so excited for u. xxxx (ps. is there anyone else left in ur bb group???! Maybe ur the pregnantest person on bb!!!)
Jennajayen- Oh the race is on between u and forshelby! Wishing u the best of luck. Come on baby mummy is ready for u!!
A huge big hello to all u other lovely girls too!!! And the newbies! We love having new girls in here :)
AFM- Im all good... am feeling great! Im still waiting to get those true pregnancy symptoms..like heartburn, weird cravings, swollen hands and feet etc.. but i have a feeling i'll still be waiting for them at 40 weeks! Ive said it all along but if i didnt have a growing moving tummy i honestly wldnt believe i was pg! Its crazy what a breeze everything has been. Oh i hope labour is the same!
Im starting to struggle a bit with the whole getting comfy thing when im trying to sleep.. and i have also started grunting with every roll but hey its just one of those joys of pregnancy! For the first time ever baby kept me awake at like 4am the other morning, oh my god it was having the biggest party ever for like an hour! Must have known it was friday night! Normally i just sleep thru all its movements, no chance of it that time tho!
Im constantly feeling movements and i can always feel little bits poking out which is great.. so reassuring. Its weird i never knew when u were pg u wld be able to feel all the body parts sticking out.. like when i used to see pg ladies i just assumed there tummies wld feel like a big hard lump! But its crazy theres always a little bit poking out that i can almost just grab! Love it!
Anyway im off to bed, cant wait to hear the next update forshelby! If u find urself in the hospital tonight and are bored send me a text! Wld love to get woken up with the exciting news!! :)
Nite nite girls, sweet dreams!! xxx
OMG just read ur last post forshelby! U have really got me excited now!!!! So has ur dp clicked on now?? u cant hide it from him anymore??! I think its safe to say he will be having tomoro off! Yay yay yay!!!!

Oooooh Forshelby!!! Im soooo excited!!! Thinking of you!!
Iona - Hoping things get moving faster for you too!!!
Thanks t-hopes have had niggles etc but nothing too exciting did lose my ankles a week ago and started the waddle lol so as everyone says must b getting closer but nothing else
Any news forshelby????! :)
Iona- Oh ur so close now too!! Cant wait to hear ur BA!!!! :)
Well I'm still here. Had a couple more contractions last night and then they tapered off after reaching the 10 mins apart mark, had a few during the night, and 2 this morning, but they're not as intense as they were.
Looks like I got you all excited over nothing lol
Forshelby - Gogogogogogo! I don't expect it will be very long now until we see your BA!
Oh this is super exciting!
Forshelby - I am LOVING that you can't concentrate on what you're doing or talk through them... and having to go to the loo..... all good. I'll bet you're at the hossy as I type. FX anyway.
Jenna - oh well, it's all happening, just slowly. DTD worked a little... time to try again?
Ionna - PML when you said you lost your ankles. Not long to go for you either.
Reet - seriously sweetie, you don't want the swollen hands, and the other discomforts until the last possible minute if at all. For me anyway, it was really painful having swollen hands and carpal tunnel during preg, there was no relief, except possibly momentary.
Thinking of everyone else. H is off to the paed today for her 6 month check up. Wow... where did that go?
Reet - I'm the only one left in my belly buddies group. I think I might be the pregnantest. I'm definitely the crankiest. You sound so happy, its good to hear :) Makes me feel a bit better.
Iona and Jenna - If you guys go before me I will scream, LOL :o When is MY baby going to come out?!!
AFM - ctx back at about 10mins apart. I think i might be leaking fluid, not sure its pretty subtle. I would write more but i cbf honestly, going to jump in a hot shower and call the hospital to see what they think.
eeeee! go forshelby !!! let us know!!!!!!!
wow dory - 6 months old, love your new pic btw what a cutie
u/s for me today yay!
I'm just popping in to send lots of belly rubs to forshelby.
You can do this!! Remember I'm only a phone call away if you need a chat.
And yep, BB is an awesome distraction!! hehe!
love love love
Hey girls,
Got home a little while ago still reading through all posts i am feeling a bit better i had a rough time after the surgery when i get settled i will be back to tell you all about it
Dory you are wonderful i have read a few post you wrote about abbi i was overwhelmed.
Forshelby-fingers crossed for you.
Telly - thanks for the pep talk this morning, I sooooo needed it :)
Ferrals - Welcome home hehe!! I hope you're recovering well, can't wait to catch up more and hear all about Ella.
Everyone else - thanks for the vibes!
AFM - Well the news you've all been waiting for : apparently I'm in early labour. The hospital asked me to come in and it turns out my waters are leaking. Not the most pleasant feeling, ew. I'm also dialating but they didn't do an internal after they discovered my waters are leaking in case of infection, but she said she could see it was opening. Yay for that. They gave me my options, as ctx were 5mins apart and showed up beautifully on the ctg. I decided to come home and wait for things to intensify rather than be induced or wait there in the ward. I had lunch, and a hot shower followed by a lovely nap. I was disappointed things weren't really happening, but as soon as I woke up and tried to get up I realised I was having a ctx. DP says I'm doing well and was as surprised as me that I really am in labour, as we're still able to carry on as normal except that I stop and grimace occasionally, lol.
So far so good! One particular midwife commented on the way I was smiling and laughing while I held my belly and said owww. We'll see how long I can keep that up, lol. :) If I don't need to go in tonight, the mw said to come back in the morning.
Next time you hear from me I'll be a mummy! Until then, stay tuned for Tellytubby's announcement on my behalf. :heartbeat:
forshelby - yay on being in labour - take it easy girl and can't wait to hear that ba xoxox
OH HAPPY HAPPY BIRTHING GIRLS!!Cant wait to read all your BAs!!!
What a journey hey? But is so worth it :)
Welcome home ELLA and FERRALS!!! Hope your recovery speeds up, you are amazing Ferrals!
Forshelby - Yay!!! I think my Little Miss is waiting for you to have your bub first lol :) Can't wait to read your BA!!!
Ferrals - Yay on you being home! Glad things are improving *hugs*
afm - not much happening, the odd contraction every now and then, but they're averaging an hour or so apart at the moment. Blah, they'd better be getting some more dilation happening or I'm going to be seriously annoyed lol
Just a quick question for those who have dilated and been through natural labour before - Did you ever notice that you felt looser or more open down there in the pelvic area?
Just thought I'd ask as I woke up on friday morning feeling different down there, and every day I wake up and it feels more open and loose, not by physically touching it, just by how I feel when I stand, walk, sit down, lie down etc.
Welcome home Ferrals and Ella!
Forshelby: You are a champion! Doing so well! Can't wait to read your BA!
Jenna: What patience you have! Hmm, can't remember feeling more 'open' approaching birthing. Sorry! But it's probably different for different people. Looking forward to hearing your news too.
Iona: You must be in the race too! So close!
Hi everyone else!

Hi Melster! yay a familiar face!
Well I have just done my 4th pee stick in 36 hours so I am now comfortable enough to admit I am pregnant!! Off for BT this morning. I wish I could be jumping in the air excited but my previous m/c scares me.
Looking forward to getting to know you all and I have joined at an exciting time by the looks of things!!!

i got to see my little one yesterday, even gave me a wave :)
hi everyone
Forshelby looking forward to your BA.
Ferrals I haven't posted (except the day you had Ella) but just wanted to say I have been thinking of you especially on the 20th and praying you have a quick recovery. Dido to Possum Magics post Welcome home Ferrals and baby Ella!
Joeve I'm so excited for you. CONGRATULATIONS on your BFP (and any other newbies in here I've missed) We were in the 12+ month thread for a while together. FX for a fab BT. I'm sure it will be but can understand your anxiety. I was exactly the same.
Alish yeah for your scan yesterday.
JennaJayen I feel the opposite down there. I feel all swollen and tight (but I do have varicose veins) Insdie feels smaller then usual but I have this immense pressure like something is going to fall out.
Well right now I am too heartbroken to go on with personals. BB another time.
whats wrong mildez?
Mildez~ what is going on?
There is so many babies being born its very exciting
Another full term angel born over night to a girl in ferrals bubbies group i think she was. Makes me want to get him out now while hes alive. Its too heart breaking for words
Hey joeve...good to see you in here. Im so excited for you. I hope you have a happy and healthy nine months. Were all here for you, especially in the first few months when it can be quiet scary.....
Mildez.....are you alright?
Jenna..how you going now?
Cant wait to hear from forshelby..i even checked my phone on the way to work this morning LOL...
Thanks for the welcome girls.
Yes very sad day today as one of my TTC buddies birth her baby girl this morning as an angel too precious for this world. Life is cruel sometimes.....
Yes girls I'm just completely shattered for Ahurani, her partner and family. Like Joeve we were in the 12month plus ttc together for close to a year and the 6month plus before that. We both got BFP weeks apart and both having little girls. Ahurani was the first person I told I was pregnant (even before DH) as I was on FB and freaking out. Her gorgeous girl was conceived with alot of hard work, tears and assistance so I'm completely heartbroken for her. I would be anyway but the journey to get Hayley makes it so much harder to deal with. Obviously been a midwife I know how these things happen but I'm still in shock that it could happen to Ahurani after what she is been through to get here. I could shoot God out of the sky right now if he is up there. I was fully expecting to read about her little ladies arrival this morning just not that she was taken too soon :crying: I'm sure everyone who has come across her on FB and BB feels the same way.
