Phebee - I have a blood clot (subchorionic haemorrhage) behind the placenta that has been there from the beginning. I think as long as you are not bleeding then they are happy to just wait and see what happens. Most are reabsorbed by the body by 20 weeks. I don't know why mine hasn't gone but I haven't had any bleeding since around week 18 and baby is the size they are supposed to be. Yours will likely be gone over the next few weeks.

Thanks everyone for your kind thoughts.
I had my scan and it showed a healthy heart beat of 141 and the exact size for the dates. I still have not been sleeping though. I have just started hypnotherapy and hope it can help me.

The Mrs - I can relate to many things on your post. I am at the same stage of pregnancy of you and have a 2.5 year old and morning sickness. I actually think my insomnia is turning into depression. I suffer from anxiety which has been brought on from the mc last year and the fear with this pregnancy. But I just don't feel myself, I am not as excited with this PG as I was with DD either. I don't feel as happy as I usually am.
Do you know if you can take medication when pregnant? I don't know if it is worth visiting my doc again (for the millionth time!).

Lauz..congrats on the scan results. Hows the hypnotherapy going? Are you getting any sleep?

Angelfish...i hope everything goes well with you're scan today. I was like that all the time so dont worry. Keep us posted

The Mrs..Even when things are going really well you always have that fear and are always checking. It does get easier the further along you get and the the more scans you have..think when i started to hit the 15-20 week mark i came good. My dd will be 3 soon and it is tough when you're feeling sick, hopefully there are people that can help you here and there. If you feel real low..maybe go to the dr and get checked out...i dont think i felt real excited about this baby until heaps later on when the fear started to ease and i felt the baby kick etc..now i feel alot more bonded with the baby..some dont feel it until its born. think its fairly normal

Phebee...how are things going now? i dont know alot about that sorry..wish i could help. Hope you're feeling ok now

Hello everyone else.....WERE ARE YOU ALL???????????????????????????????? I only have 4 weeks to go and need you all LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well i have been quiet sick and have been throwing up in the last couple days...is that a sign that labour could be getting close??????..I am very very hormonal..very headachy and just feel terrible...im not sure if bubs is engaged yet. Lots of pressure down there but i dont think she is engaged. My body shape has changed but i dont think i have dropped yet. Been getting period pains but nothing major

Next week is my last week at work..wishing now that i had said this week.....as everything is becoming quiet difficult..got my ob appointment thur so i will see how everything is going.

Still havent 100./. picked names either.....

    Morning ladies...

I'm hoping I can join in here.

Finally pregnant after a late loss 4 years ago, and 2 confirmed chemical pregnancies in 6 months.

I'll be 7 weeks tomorrow. Very nervous but all the scans I've had suggest everything is going along fine. Ive had the occasional spot of blood and pains so bit frightened, although they know that the bleed wasn't caused by bubs. Just an irritable soft cervix. (As bleeding happens after internal exams and transvaginal ultrasounds)

Hope everyone else is going great I will read back and then do persies once I've caught up! xx

Melster- You seem very ready for your lil girl to come

WannabeMum- So reassuring when bub is moving so much

Cheshire- Hope your results are good news

Kellbell- Wow 2months already. Bet he is just beautiful

Hi everyone else, sorry I can't do more persies, this is as far back as my phone will let me Hope you are all doing well

AFM- Sorry I haven't been on lately. Had a lot happen and still haven't set up my computer lol. Bubby is sooo active it's fantastic, even when it hurts and I wonder how on earth it is going to get bigger lol. DS and XDP have so much fun playing with bub now they can feel it moving about in there Really starting to pop now too rather than just looking fat lol. Fundal height is measuring 4weeks ahead so am getting prepared for another decent sized bubba. Get to see him/her again soon, so can't wait. Will be to check up on size, position (bub seems to be bum down), fluid levels and to find out how lil one's kidneys are going now. FX they will be better. I have almost everything set up already lol. Just so excited, plus I can see what I still need to get now. Sorry for the long post but it has been a while.

Damprye, I was so happy to see your name this morning I'm glad things are back on the right track bubs kidneys are tracking well when you have the scan, in the meantime, how awesome is the movement

DS decided he didn't want sleep-ins this weekend Boo. So he's been awake at 6 yesterday and today. Yesterday was my sleep in day - but I didn't get much of one, DH brought DS in at 7:30 because he had to go out - not fair! So he's sleeping away while I'm TIRED. I decided to fire up the shredder yesterday and get rid of 13 years of old bills, bank statements and tax records (don't worry, I'm keeping what I need to keep). So far I've done one drawer of the filing cabinet, have over two garbage bags full of shredded paper and have the big drawer to go... OMG!

Is a HR of 125bpm at 6w4d normal or low? And measurement of crl was 7.2mm

Worried. I'm 8 weeks tomorrow and my m/s has subsided. Sore boobs gone.... Hmm

Completely normal, Bambi had the same HR at the same gestation. Like you i thought it was low but i was told it was fine.
I had vanishing symptoms till about 10wks when M/S really kicked & i was sooooo sick.

When is your next appt? These first few months are so scary.
