Melster - YAY! Great to hear bubby is snuggled in safe and sound Now you can relax and enjoy your Christmas.

Stoked - Awesome news! I bet you're feeling a lot better having seen a hb.

Kellie - I think you'll do just fine with 2 kids. Remember, you have two arms, so 2 kids is just perfect. You can restrain them both at the same time, lol. Try not to worry about bubs being a bit quiet, I find mine has up and down days too..... good to see a cold drink did the trick hehe. I find my little one gets a bit exciteable when I'm trying to sleep as well. I hope this isn't going to continue when he/she is out!

Possum - Aww I hope you and DH can kiss and make up soon. Enjoy your 2 weeks off!

    Angelfish - Merry xmas

Ferrals - Ugh, they sure don't make it easy for you do they! Hopefully your dad can be the safety net you need right now.

Tegam - Hooray for your belly dropping..... it can't be long now! Good luck for your appointment. Does an s&s hurt?? Just curious.

AFM - Feeling kind of tired and just blah in general today. I'm looking forward to seeing DP's family tomorrow and enjoying an xmas feast. Can't wait to see the look on our little nieces face when she opens her presents. I think that's the best part! I just know I'm going to be exhausted though after all the socialising..... I hope DP doesn't want to stay super late as it's at least a 40min drive home.

damprye welcome and massive CONGRATULATIONS. I'm so pleased for you woohoo.

Tegam how is everything going? So close now. Any day/hour.

Of to work now for me. Going to have to reduce my hours as I have this ridiculous vein happening in a very uncomfortable spot. Never thought I'd have to worry about a varicose vein in the labia. Its giving me some grief.

Damprye - Congratulations! And welcome I was just thinking of you the other day actually, wondering how things were with you. Good luck for your BT's.

Mildez - Omg.... you poor thing. I thought swollen feet were bad, but wow that must be uncomfortable!

AFM - DP's 2 hour trip to his brother's place today has turned into 10 hours so far. SO bored stuck here without the car........ I hate when he does this. "I won't be long" Then I sit here all day alone. Yeah, great Christmas break. Pfffft! I wonder wth he's doing taking this long. Surely he's thought of me sitting here waiting for him to get back? He said he'd go and get the gurneying (sp?) done and then we could have the rest of the day doing whatever I like. BAH HUMBUG!!! lol

YAY Melster for your scan Now you can relax a little more.....

ferrals- APRA is a pain, DH was with them, and we had to wait six months...and apparently you can only do it once in a LIFETIME.... Do you have any old super around, if you don't work maybe they would release that....good luck.....

can't believe how quickly these tickers seem to be going.... going for more blood tests tomorrow to check the bub is on track, after my missed miscarriage I'm getting at least one a week until I'm out of the first trimester... And a scan when i want prob after new years when did you get your first scan this pregnancy ladies?

Mum2Ramone-- I had my first scan wicked early, 'cause we were in-vitro-- but the first major one was at 6 weeks to check for heartbeat (I also had a missed miscarriage previously at 11 weeks). Anywho-- then I had another at 8 weeks and one right around the time of miscarriage. It was a psychological thing-- I don't think they like to scan so much, but we had a bit of an unusual situation. I hope all goes very well for you!

Kellbell-- I hope you feel better soon. I caught a nasty cold from my hubby just before Christmas and was sick for a few days...still have bits of the cold...but no matter how bad you're feeling, just tell yourself it's a temporary thing. Hang in there and REST!

We are smothered in snow here. Blizzard last night. I felt so sorry for hubby today 'cause he had to do all the shoveling (our driveway) and then he has a funeral for a parishioner today (outside in the SNOW). That's nuts. I mean, isn't the ground frozen??? Oh well, at least he won't be outside too long--- I told him to keep the prayers short, but meaningful.

Baby was rocking the bump last night...really. We watched Robin Williams "Live on Broadway" on DVD and it's raunchy, but hysterical. Comedy is good for the soul. Seriously good for the soul.

Ferrals-- I hope things sort out for you soon. Your plan sounds solid...and remember, sometimes some unexpected happiness will surprise you along the way and help you along. I hope that is the case for you! Yeah for the countdown at work...I can't wait to start maternity leave. My church (work) hasn't figured everything out yet (they still need to interview prospective replacements) but they are moving along. I hope to be gone for 12 weeks. They need to get a move on.

Forshelby-- Yeah for the baby shopping! I discovered ebay a few weeks ago and got some kickin' baby clothes. Ebay is dangerous and a bit addictive! LOL! If I "won" the bid on everything that I tried to bid on, I'd be broke now. Bad ebay...bad me!

    See ya ladies.

M2R I had a scan at 4.5,5.5 and 6weeks to check for ectopic (I had signs it was and have had an ectopic and a m/c they thought was an ectopic also which resloved itself) I then had a scan at 10weeks for viability due to having had 3 past losses and then a friend at work had a look with our work machine at 12weeks then I had another at 13weeks for the NT scan so way more then was neccessary. If I have another pregnancy I'll have one at 6weeks again to check for ectopic but those 2 early ones weren't neccessary and I actually insisted there was no point as they couldn't see anything but the Dr insisted I had to have one before going home (as I was in hospital at the time) Next pregnancy I think I'll have 2 BTs early to ensure they are rising 48hrs apart then one a week later then thats it. After about 7-8weeks it can be hard to compair them to previous ones as it gets to a stage where they do reduce and cause unneccessary worry.

Well I'm on on a 3days shopping trip with my DD10 and mum. Not looking forward to the 500kms drive but it will be a lovely girls weekend where hopefully I can buy some things for my kids and belly bub is gender specific colours whilst still managing to hide them from Mum and DD.

Forshelby~ i love Ebay it is very addictive when it comes to looking for things

AFM: Chistamas here was okay. But i made a mistake my bf wanted me to go with him to drop kids off which is a fourhour drive oneway. And we were due for a blizzard but i went anyway. we left at 4pm and did not get back until 2 am stopped a couple of times my feet hurt did not think anything of it so i when we got hom and i took off my shoes and socks my feet were hudge so were the lower part of my legs my hands were alittle too. i slept with my feet up. I called the ob office today they said no more trips like that and to keep my feet up as much as possible drink lots of water and also if i start to see spots or having a bad headache to call them. I am so scared that its the begins of preclampisa. I am diebectic and at a high risk for it i am 34 weeks ( still cant believe it) But i am scared out of my mind with all the other healh issues i have.
