    hi all.

ferrals - I hope these three days move quickly for you and more good news is yours. so far so good, I'm thinking of you.

tegam - hope you're getting great results as I type. fx.

forshelby -safe travel home to the gc.

to evryone that offered advice/support to my panic stricken post yesterday, thank you. You all helped to put my mind at ease and reminded me to think of the present. I feel queasy again today, as horrible as it is, it's somewhat reassuring. I see my GP tomorrow and was thinking of asking her if I could have some extra scans before 12 weeks. so a big thank you again, I really can't explain how grateful I am, as a first timer! xx

Fabulous news Ferrals. I hope in the few days when you have the official results you can relax a little without the worry you have had up until this stage.

Ferrals: Yay! You sound so much more positive today! I'm so glad

Tegam how did your scan go??

Forshelby How exciting!!! I'm sorry the last few days have been horrible Melbourne weather It feels like winter's come back!

kmm I'm glad your mind is more at ease today. It can be really scary when the m/s stops suddenly. Unfortunately, I'm with Audax. Those few days of reprieve at 8 weeks headed straight in to 8 weeks of puking hell lol.

angelfish That is fantastic! Was he excited?

I think I felt my first flutters last night. It felt like I was being tickled from the inside lol. I just lay there for a moment, then called DH in and started crying. He said "are you sure it's not gas?" and I had to say well, no I'm not sure, but it didn't feel like anything I've ever felt before!

MsKara~ i am so happy that you felt flutters if its nothing that you have felt before then it was probley the baby. I am not sure if you saw what i wrote before i was 23 weeks and felt nothing dr got me set up in my mind to go in for test but that night actually i saw my stomach move and i could feel it lol TMI i looked at my bf after he saw the movement i said that the baby right? Gas cant do that. Then i turned into a crying baby so congrats

angelfish aw I'm sorry he's not being more hands on. Have you talked to him about his reactions? My DH has a child with an ex as well but he was pretty young at the time and not in the best place emotionally, so hes pretty excited now.

    17wks today! wooot!

Angelfish-you need to tell him you might have done this before but i havnt and the least you can do is pretend to be excited.
My DH has a daughter to his ex but with work ect and being younger he just wasnt real involved in any of it but this time around he hasnt missed a thing and is so excited he always rubs my belly ect so tell your man you need him to do this for you.
This is my 5th baby and i have been just as excited with all of them (except for my worries about the SLO) but i just cant get enough of being pregnant i looooooooooooove it i hope he gets on board for you soon.

Ferrals - FX for the all clear, it's sounding good so far!

Kmm - Glad you're feeling better. Or queasier... lol. I hope you get the extra scans, too.

MsKara - It was freezing in Melbourne! It's so nice to be back on the GC and in the sunshine. Hooray for the first flutters!! That's so cute that you had a cry, and even cuter that DH had to ask if it was gas, lol. I hope you start getting some major kicks soon.

Kellie - GOOD LUCK!!!! The 12wk scan is such a milestone, and so beautiful to see bubby kicking around in there. I hope it goes well for you

Angelfish - Awww hun, it's so hard when your partner isn't as excited as you are. I've been there with my previous pg. It was a very lonely time indeed. I hope he comes around as your belly grows, and if not........ most men switch gears once they lay eyes on their beautiful baby. I hope we can offer enough support to even things out a bit and help you not feel so alone.

AFM - It's so good to be home. Our little dog was super excited to see us when we walked in last night, and has been extra cuddly too. I nearly had a cry about it, lol. Now i can start getting excited about your 20week(ish) scan on Friday. Eeeeeeep!!

angelfish I'm with ferrals. I think you need to make it clear that "been there done that" doesn't cut it.

kellbell FX all is going well for you So excited for you to see the little one!

I just had another OBs appt and it did not go as I thought it would. I was only going in to get a referral to have my thyroid re-tested, but instead found out my blood pressure is too high again and I have to go back on meds. I now have to have weekly GP visits to monitor my BP until I go back again in 3 weeks. I'm so worried about this and I'm really upset right now. Bleh... what can you do I guess.

MsKara - Sorry to hear about your BP, I don't blame you for worrying. I guess all you can do is try to keep calm, and get lots of rest. Easier said than done, huh.

Kellie - I know... crazy! My bump is growing overnight so it seems, and the kicks and wiggles are more obvious. When we got back from Melbourne last night the dog seemed a bit confused as to why my lap is smaller suddenly. LOL.. we were only gone a week. Poor little man, he was trying to straddle it to get a decent cuddle. Great news about your scan, isn't it just the best thing seeing your little bub looking like a little bub for the first time? Hehe... Although I fell in love with my little blob thing at 7 weeks. Ikwym about the growth thing, it's amazing how fast they transform. I can't wait to see how bubby has come along this Friday at our 20wk scan.

Reet - How are you going? 13 weeks.... almost into the 2nd trimester now hun, YAAAAAY!!!!

Mskara-what a bummer about your BP as long as the doc looks after you should be fine.

Kellbell-yippee on a perfect 12 week scan i bet you feel such relief now that you have seen your little bub.

Forshelby-I fell in love with my little bean at 7 weeks to.

AFM-I am sick as a dog with the flu i feel dreadful i have coughed so much my belly feels like ive torn muscles and my chest feels like it is stuffed full of soggy bread this pregnancy is so similar to Abbi's all the testing and waiting and stress and now even the flu i am so sick of coughing.
We got a call from the geneticist with a preliminary chromosone results they were all normal and we definately have a little lady on board no mistaking that so now just the cholesterol enzyme result by the end of the week.
I am doing the whole phone call senerio over and over in my head all the possible things they could say like i am sorry but we dont have good news to we have the results and they are all normal why am i tormenting myself.
