Gday to everyone else, sorry not posting much, just so unwell with M/S... oooh its so revolting, everything makes me heave!!!
Heave ho heave ho.... its off to the bathroom i go!!!!!
Heave ho heave ho.... my heads down the bowl i know!!!!!
T-Hopes - You poor thing, ms is the worst. I hope you can find your magic cure soon! Loved the song btw, lol.
AFM - Baby's room is in the process of being set up..... it's all very overwhelming. I'm finding it all surprisingly scary!
T-HOPES hope you feel better soon. I felt the same up until 10ish weeks it was horrendous but exciting to except when I was worried the force of vomiting would dislodge the baby (as if but thats how violent it was) Yes love the song very creative.
:dance:Happy half way mark forshelby!!!!!!!!!:dance:
(Ur ticker shld be clicking over soon.. :) )
Yes i worry that the force of my severe coughing will break my waters since i have had a cvs and an amnio i have been having like 5 baths a day to check bubs movements she seems to move more when i am in the bath.
:hello: Appointment went to the **** rather quickly :(
Apparently fluid levels are meant to be from 25-7 i think the 25 starts at 20 weeks and you normally lose numbers as baby gets bigger. So 7 would be the total bottem number for someone say 40-42weeks... Im sitting on 8 :(
So what does this mean. Scan next monday and see how baby is holding up. Worst case Baby born then! Best case fluid stays the same,,,,they might let me go to 34-36weeks. Fluid builds up again (very rare but not out of the question) Induced at 36weeks.
So really in a sad mood. Hoping its all resolved next monday on the next scan. Will go back and see OB in the city after scan and decide what my action plan is.
Sorry not in the mood to talk about it alot. Just posted cause i said i would.
Aww tegam hang in there hope monday brings some better news and the fluid level stays the same if not increases.
Is there anything you can do this might sound silly but when i had my amnio the professeor needed to take 3 times the amount of fluid for all the special tests required i said is it ok to take that much from around tha baby and he said yes it is baby's urine so go home and drink lots of water and the more that goes through the placenta the more bub has to filter through it's kidneys so it will pee more and replace the lost fluid i know it proberbly is not the same with your bub because it is low for a different reason but i just thought i'd mention it.
Oh tegam, sweety I hope next monday comes around quickly and all this worrying is for nothing. thinking of you xoxox
Mildez - LOL, your tale of vomiting made me chuckle.
Reet - Thanks! I celebrated by making some cardboard fish mosaics and stuck them on the nursery wall. :)
Ferrals - I can't believe you still have this cough. You're such a trooper, hun.
Tegam - Oh hun, I hope the situation gets better for you and baby before Monday. We're here and ready to talk when you are. Until then, take it easy and I'll be sending you all the good vibes I can muster.
Hi Girls!
Angelfish- How frustrating that ur dp doesnt discipline his naughty kids.. it must be so annoying having to watch them get away with whatever they want.. atleast u only have to put up with them once every 3 weeks! :) How are u going?? More and more kicks each day??
Tegam- Oh wat a worry :( I really hope things are looking up at ur u/s on monday.. what a stressful week thinking u just might be having a baby next week!! Atleast ur in the safeish zone.. my cousin had a baby at just over 6 months and he is a gorgeous little boy, he has developed a little slower but no real problems whatsoever! I really do hope u can wait a few more weeks tho.. best of luck xx
Ferrals- Starting to feel a bit better yet?? I hope so! It sounds like an awful cough! Are u sleeping more soundly now?? I think u shld definitely get a doppler.. it wld be so much easier checking that ur little girl is alright rather then having heaps of baths each day! Altho im sure the baths are very very relaxing :) i had a bit of a look and found some brand new ones on ebay.. want me to send u the links if i can find them again??
T-hopes- Oh u sound SO sick! What a great sign tho! I am so glad i didnt get the vomiting.. i really wanted it just for reassurance but hearing all ur stories has made me realise how lucky i really am! I hope ur feeling better soon.
Forshelby- Oh u have made me so excited to start buying baby stuff! What have u bought?? I think the only things we will really buy is a cot, a pram, a change table and a sling thing to carry baby, oh and a baby capsule for the car.. and probably a billion other things once im actually in the baby shop!! haha. How nice to wake up in the mornings and look in the babies room at all the nice stuff :)
Hi to all u other lovely ladies too!! :)
AFM- Had my midwife appointment today, she is the nicest lady ever! There was no rushing whatsoever.. we were in there for about half an hour and i asked her all the little questions i have been wondering about. Its so different to my ob. appointments.. she is so thorough! Im in and out in 5-10 mins at my ob. appointments and its double the cost of my midwife appointment! Sadly tho my midwife told me today that since she works in a drs surgery now and not at a hospital she cant actually be there for my labour.. but oh well.. im sure the other midwives will be lovely and ill also have my ob. right when the baby is about to be born. Oh and we got to hear babies hb again... its always so exciting and lovely to listen too! :)
One thing that really shocked me tho is that she was really surprised when we said we werent going to find out what we are having! Everyone has been so surprised when we have told them we dont want to know.. i find it a bit crazy! I honestly didnt think there wld be so few of us that wanted a surprise! Have u girls that arent finding out noticed that??! Dont get me wrong.. i wld love to know so i can be more organised and im jealous of u girls that do know or are finding out.. but i really think it will be exciting hearing everyones opinions about what we are having and then finding out whos right etc on the day.. and yes like forshelby it will teach me patience! :)
Anyway i hope everyone is well, nitey nite! xxx
Oh and forshelby I had a look at ur latest baby pics.. gorgeous! and what a cute chubby tummy!
I cant believe ur still trying to force me to have a caffeine fix! now its to get rid of headaches!!! i cant believe u!!! hahaha joking.. i actually do think it would probably work.. or the massage wld. My midwife today said to find someone that does an indian head massage.. oooh how nice does it sound!! I think i might look into finding one soon :)
xx
tegam~ hun i am so sorry that you got such upsetting news i will be thinking of you!
ferrals~i hope that you are starting to feel better even just alittle bit.
Forshelby~ congrats on the halfway mark.
AFM~ thank god its over this weekend everyweekend with this girls seems to get worse. Me and the bf agure allot becosue to go get them its an 8 hour round trip on friday and do it again on sunday becosue there mother will not meet him half way.And this weekend the mom kept on sending text messages at 11 at ngiht and getting the oldest upset. The oldest one on sunday was asked to do her normal chores nothing big and she broke down and started to cry how she can be a kid she always have to do adult chores when asked why she has to do lundry everyday for six other people in the house two adults and the rest children watch her younger silbing becosue her mom only got 6 hours of sleep that night. I did not want to send her home at that point.
But yes i can feel the baby more she makes herself known more so now then before which makes me happy i am finally starting to show i still look 4 months pregnate but i am happy:)
Morning ladies,
I am finally feeling better today still have a nasty cough but it doesnt hurt to cough so that is good bub is still moving around so she has handled it.
Reet-I have seen the dopplers on ebay i want to get one just dont want to waste a lot of money when this is our last bub but i would be more at ease if i got one i might try to look around for a 2nd hand one or to borrow one.
Angelfish-step families can be hard work DH and i had a few issues with our kids when we 1st got together he was and is to soft on his daughter because she only comes every 2nd weekend he treats it like a holiday for her and she expects everything and to be taken somewhere special when it is just a normal weekend for my boys when they all get into trouble he would yell at my boys and talk normally to his daughter i put a stop to it and we went to councilling where there was a professional there to tell DH he was going about it all wrong all the kids need to be treated equal and his daughter needed to understand that this is her home to so she has chores and rules and no special treatment just because she doesnt live with us full time.
DH has improved 99% but still has little issues with the way he speaks differently to all the kids i told him my boys will end up resenting his daughter if he doesnt disipline her the same way he is working on it but it is hard they just dont see it.
AFM-I finally have my 1st midwife appointment on the 18th of november YEH!!!!! i feel like a normal pregnant person i will be 21 weeks.
I have my 18 week Drs appointment on thursday and get my refferal for my 20 week morph scan even though i have had a lot of scans it will be nice to see our girl again.
Tegam try not to worry if you can. Bub will stay put for alot longer. They would only consider taking him/her if there was no fluid and I don't think it will shrivel up that quick from a level of 8. As long as there is fluid bub then it would be much safer onside then out. Everything else is perfect other then lowered fluid isn't it?
Reet a caffeine hit often does the trick for a headache or migraine but not just a coffee needs to be a few scoops. Its absolutely foul especially for someone who doesn't drink the stuff but OMG it works well.
I have my Ob appointment today woohoo. Should finally get an AN card and see what EDD he gives me and if he thinks I will make it that far anyway. People are betting at work I'll make it late Feb thats only like 33weeks I think I'll get to 38weeks for sure.
Reet - We got a cot, change table, pram, cot mattress and some waterproof protectors... oh and a baby monitor. $200 for all of it so we were stoked with that bargain. The room is coming together really nicely now. It's strange seeing a cot etc in there now, even the furbabies are intrigued by it. :) I want to get a nice rocking cradle type thing as well so bubby can sleep in our room for a while at first. IKWYM about the whole not finding out the sex business. I too would love to know, and it's sooooo tempting, but I want to 'savour it' if that makes sense. Drs, u/s people, and random strangers are always shocked when we say we don't know what we're having and won't find out until the big day. I don't see why I can't get organized not knowing the sex anyway. Bubby won't care if he/she is wearing white, orange, red,yellow,green.... ummmmm camo print.. LOL. Bubby won't know the difference or give a hoot how the nursery is decorated. I've been using ALL colours, and it's really very cheerful and bright looking, so I'm happy with our decision. :) Oh and LOL about the caffeine. It really does help with headaches. Sometimes I'll have a coffee before I go for the panadol and it works. But then again that might be because i usually have a little caffeine and I'm 'withdrawing'. Head massage sounds like a better idea, except for the cost lol.
Angelfish - Thanks hun. Poor girls, that's so sad. They must have a sucky life when you aren't around. I bet you make their day, really. Oh and enjoy the kicks!
Ferrals - you ARE a normal pg person! YAAAAYYY!!!! Enjoy your morph scan. :)
Mildez - YAY you backed my coffee remedy. I usually make mine with 2 scoops anyway, but I have it milky and sugary so the sugar probably helps too! :)
AFM - Ok, I'm going to get some cleaning done today. I must I must I must. I have an inspection tomorrow.. *sigh*. But first lunch with the girls... hehe.
