Ferrals your bigger then me (I am 2weeks behind) I'll post mine when I get around to it. I can feel it getting higher and higher the fundus but it hasn't fallen forward much. My SIL is 4weeks ahead of me and we look about the same but its her first so maybe she is smaller as she isn't pre-stretched like me. I don't think I'll get very big this time.
Oh ferrals cute belly shot! :) when u were saying u had really popped out i thought u meant it! I think thats the perfect size tum for 20 weeks :) i wld love to have a tummy going on in 4 weeks time but not sure if its going to happen.. right now i just have a pot belly that im only just starting not to be able to suck in!

Ohhh cute ferrals! Lovely bump!! Gosh i think im gunna have a whopper bump - Im a size 12 build but i have a flat tummy so its already popping a little !! :) My boobies are melons!!!!! Whoa!!
Had another scan yesterday and bubs is going really well - we are a whopping 2.5cm in size now!!! Monster!!! hehehe! we drove past our hospital and I got so excited! Doc said everything looks wonderful!
Question.... im so blocked up right now and having shocking gut aches and back pain from all the constipation.... anyone have any remedies?? Ive tried pears but they just arent cutting it anymore!!! :lol:

Melster/Forshelby/Reet/Mildez: I had a belly going at 23 weeks, and if I wore tight clothes at 15 weeks there was definate ''rounding'' LOL! Tiger has always been a little low, so I was in maternity jeans (the wonder of maternity jeans!) quite early on cos it was uncomfortable to do up zippers and buttons. I was size 10/12 and the size 10 part of my wardrobe got totally ignored from week 9. I get asked when I'm due now, lol. One lady was shocked when I said I had 10 weeks to go :rolleyes: But a few weeks ago a saleslady asked who I was buying the baby clothes for, umm for my baby? She said she hadn't noticed I was pregnant!
T-hopes: Prunes. Break out the prunes honey! And warm lemon water when you first wake up. And if all else fails - metamucil is totally safe.
AFM, our furbaby ran away yesterday, but luckily we got him back last night, PHEW!! He's spent all day sleeping and purring. Typical. Tiger's started shoving his butt out at me, which I think is ridiculously cute :) And I think I can feel the difference between elbows and fingers. Hopefully painting the nursery this weekend, woot woot! Can't believe my baby is gonna live there!
TMI alert - Im sure someone else suggested it here too a really hot drink i usually do milo and prunes and wow it gets things going fast!
T-Hopes - So glad all is going well :) Here are my remedies so far. Bananas. Sultanas. PUMPKIN. And, if you dare, a teeny bit of coffee. (also cures headaches sometimes, ask Reet LOL). I find usually a couple of sips of a coffee get me er... in the mood. :D
Kit - I guess we're just all different belly wise, huh? I popped out pretty quickly, but then I'm not really one to 'suck in' lol. I just went with it, and let it all hang out so to speak. Nobody has commented when I buy baby things, so I'm assuming it's obvious! Sooo glad you got your furbaby back, it's hard not to spoil them after a scare like that, even though they should be grounded. Lol..... oh and how cute is that, sticking the little bum out..... hehehe. Have fun decorating the nursery!

There is hardly any difference. Belly is hard except up the top of the belly button is all squishy. It pops out more when I'm lying down. I think all the fat falls down and just leaves the sticking up belly lol its definately getting higher. Fundus is at my belly button now.
thopes - Dried apricots. Dates. Sultana bran with psyllium husk on top. Beans and lentils! But constipation has been far from my problem this pg!
Kit - I am constantly getting the browneye! Sometimes it's SO uncomfortable. And we have been greeted by a bum at every single scan. Baby takes after its mummy and daddy. Neither of us are afraid to chuck a moonie!
ferrals and mildez you both have such adorable bellies! Mine's kinda too epic to post :lol: Actually, it's not. Saw a friend today for the first time in years and she couldn't believe I was 37 weeks. I can't believe this is really happening.
I had a massive walk around the shops today - was really good and completely tired me out. Have to walk up to the hospy tomorrow for my appointment too, I think. Hopefully I feel up to it. I can sook out and catch the bus home if I need to.
Tegam- Wow ur still sleeping on ur tummy?!! u must be tiny! can we have a tummy pic?? I love looking at them! Were u small with ur other kids??
Melster- Are u having a nice relaxing holiday or have u got stuff planned for every day? Hope ur managing to do some relaxing each day! Will u continue to see ur ob. right throughout ur pregnancy?
I was super bloated too straight away.. after going to the toilet (i was quite constipated which i think bloated me up too) my tummy wld go flat again tho thank goodness! Its only just at that stage where it wont go back in when i suck in or empty my bowels!
Sunshine&stars- I hope ur 2 parishioners are doing ok, what terrible things to happen. Excellent that ur drs appointment went well! :)
Angelfish- Is it tuesday over there yet?? have u found out if u have to have a c section?
Forshelby- Woohoo for finally DTD!!! I really dont know how ur dp goes without for so long.. sometimes i wish mine was more like that.. but im so used to doing it everyday now it feels weird to go to sleep at night without doing it! It feels like we are arguing or something! But yes i am lucky cos i get a bit of time off when hes working away. We have had to start doing it shallow now (tmi!).. had a little bit of bleeding a couple nights ago.. it was only the tiniest little bit when i was cleaning up but it made us super paranoid.. i dont know where it came from cos there was no pain whatsoever.. maybe it was just the universe telling us to tone it down a bit!! :)
Oh and ive gotta thank you once again! I have been having a coffee every morning and have been feeling GREAT!! Its honestly the best i have felt since i fell pg! I really think my body needs that caffeine hit to function.. it didnt know what to do when i wasnt having a v everyday. I have way more energy plus im happier! Its wonderful!

T-Hopes- I had exactly ur problem until about 12-13 weeks.. nothing seemed to work.. i finally bought some psyllium husk from the natural health store.. and it worked a treat! I just had a tsp in a glass of juice a day.. really easy to drink.. doesnt taste like anything. Get urself some! Its really really high in fibre. Oh and when u go to bed or wake up in the morning take some time to massage ur tummy.. rub some massage oil onto it and rub in a clockwise direction.. i found that worked well.. even just to release some gas! :redface: Good luck!!
Mildez-Wow there really is no difference between the pics hey! Im going to take a new belly pic tomoro.. im hoping it looks a little bit bigger.. it will probably end up looking the same as it did 4 weeks ago tho!
Kit- What colour are u painting the nursery?? U dont know the sex do u? How exciting! We have decided we will start buying and decorating at xmas time.. ill be over half way then.. i cant wait!!

AFM- Quick question! This just happened now while i was writing this.. i felt a tightening and laid down flat so i cld get a good feel.. and my uterus was bulging out but only on one side! Its weird! Ive felt my uterus go into a tight ball quite a few times but the whole thing has bulged and tightened.. its weird that only one side of it did this time! Has this happened to anyone else?? I love when it happens.. i can feel exactly where my uterus is.. its almost up near my belly button now! yay!
I finally cant suck my tummy in.. no hiding it now! It still just looks like a pot belly tho.. it feels good to be finally popping a bit tho! :)
Had ob. appointment yesterday.. i was kinda freaking before i went.. it was the first check up since i had bleeding a couple weeks ago.. everything looked fine tho!! Baby was moving around and measuring perfectly thank goodness! I got my referral for 20 week scan.. the countdown is ON!!! Im going to wait til im exactly 20 weeks i think.. well i hope i can! I just figure that the baby shld do a bit more growing between 18-20 weeks so we will get clearer shots of everything the longer we wait. I just hope the next 4 weeks goes quickly!
Im not sure if im feeling anything yet.. if i am its just little movements.. i cant wait til i can go yep that was definitely the baby!
Anyway better jump off.. this has taken me forever to write! :)

hey reet they are called braxton hicks as they are practise contractions not the real thing. Its totally normal for them to be either onesided or start off at one point and creep over the belly!
I was smallish in belly size with the others but was FAT all over so this is the lightest i have ever started so nothing really to compare too. How do i put a belly shot up?? I am VERY small! or so EVERYONE tells me. My belly measures 22weeks....still!

Aww mildez-so cute my belly is bigger in the evenings proberbly from fluid ect but i havnt changed in size from 16 weeks til 20 weeks except when i lay down i can feel a balloon size uterus up to my belly button now.
Kellbell-Ah! baby brain lol i think i have got dumber with each pregnancy at work on sunday i just couldnt count to save my life my $48,000 float was $400 out at the end of my shift i counted it and recounted it and every time i counted it i would find a little more in the end i found it all but buggered if i know how i missed it all and i have been really air headed for a few weeks now:shakehead:
Forshelby-Way to go on DTD my DH loves my belly he thinks it is sexy i am trying to get in as much lovin time as we can before the doc says no more and puts me on restricted activities.
Reet-sounds like a braxton hicks contraction to me i am having them fairly regularly.

Ferrals I'm glad to hear it doesn't sound like I am the only one who doesn't look twice as pregnant compare to a month ago. Can't believe their is 5weeks difference between those 2shots. Maybe the 12week one looks even bigger then yesterdays lol. Yeah on the big 20weeks. Less then half way to go woohoo. How awesome is that? I'm the big 18 today. Counting down until I have my next scan and then the 20week mark. Always some milestone I'm hoping to reach.
I too Reet am having braxton hicks. They start when I first lie down (but quickly go away) any sudden chance in movement like sit down or start up etc an after going to the loo their the worst. It still worries me probably because I didn't have them at all with my first 2.

AFM i am so happy that i hit 27 weeks this week. But went to the drs today and the heart dr said that i can have a normal delevery as long as my heart does not get to bothered by the third trimester i guess that i can really trying if you have a preexcting condiontion. i have a condition were my heart can take off and go up to 150 bpm or higher.

Oh gosh had a big scare this morning! starting spotting... it was a brown discharge, very simular to the last time I m/c.... absolute panic set in as you can understand.... I paged my ob and went in for a scan at 9am and thank god bubs is fine.... We only had a scan 2 days ago and bubs has grown again, we could actually see the little arms and legs... was so relieved, we sobbed our eyes out! Doc said some ppl just get it and just to take it easy, hopefully it clears itself but but it may continue... seeing him again next week... oh lord this is so scary!!! I just thought our worst fear was starting all over again, i cant believe that our news was good! See him again in 6 sleeps, i can do it!!! Did anyone else get this??
T-Hopes- i honestly don't know why i have never spotted in any pregnancy and i really dont know how i have not had any with this bub i mean i have a grade 4 placenta previa the worst place possible for it to be plus i have had a cvs and an amnio on top of all the stress and nothing not a spot i must have a dam good plug holding it all together some women are just prone to spotting it can be just hormones my girlfriend has spotted with all her babies up until about 13 weeks then it just stopped i am glad all is perfect with your little bub.
Kellie - LOL, that's funny. Nice to see there are kind people around the place though. And in Brisbane of all places.. wow!
Mildez - Wow, all these belly pics are making me feel huge! No wonder why people ask me if I'm having twins! Will post a pic if I can figure out how. Oh, oh, thanks for clearing up the braxton hicks thing.. I had NO IDEA that's what I was feeling after I went potty! I've been getting it for weeks and weeks now, and just thought it was my bladder emptying shifting the weight around in my uterus or something stupid like that. I find when I get up (sorry for tmi) from the loo my tummy is all hard and tight feeling.
Audax - LOL@ the baby browneyes.... omg so funny. I'd love to see a pic of your epic belly, hehe.
Reet - Oh yeah, I was so shocked when he er.......... gave me the nudge. LOL. It actually felt weird at first, being pg it's just..... different for us. I don't associate mothers with sex, although.. well, helloo, that's how you get to be a mother in the first place. We had a good laugh and I was like "can you believe we're going to be someone's Mum and Dad?" I don't know how you find the energy to dtd every night, it would get soooo stale for me hehehe. The little bit of blood was probably coming from your cervix.. it can get engorged with blood when you're pg, and er, bumping it can make a little bit of blood escape. Keep an eye on it though, and remember, stay in the shallows... LOL. So glad my caffeine pushing did the trick hehe. I don't always have one, but I know it's there if I'm having a 'crash'. About the uterus thing... mine does that! I'm pretty sure it's braxton hicks.. but I didn't think they started that early? Now I'm confused. I get that tightening feeling sometimes before/during a big bout of movements. I wonder if it's because of the movements, or if it's what stimulates them?? Hmmmm...

AFM - I was lying on the couch last night relaxing when bubby started up a big bout of movements. I could feel it so strongly from the outside I thought I'd lift up my shirt and have a look..... and I could actually SEE my belly moving! It was the coolest thing ever. Then this morning I was woken up to pee (of course) and when I got back into bed, got to enjoy about a minute of constant 'disco dancing' (I forget who used to call it that). I'd have to say it's the most movement I've felt in one go yet. And it only seems to be happening more often and stronger! Yay!

I just LOVE reading about your preg journey's and so wish I was there and it's a good reminder for me. It's like I live and breathe each of your journey's. I know crazy... see teh craxzy ladies doesn't leave...EVER.
Anyway, I wanted to say CONGRATS to Ferrrals for 20 weeks...and Tegam for 31.... what date is your next scan?
Forshelby - it is truly the MOST awesome thing to behold - your own belly moving indpendently of any thought or exertion by you. Enjoy.
I also wanted to show off that I have finally worked out how to get a pic up in my signature. I reckon I should be called Dory the Dinosaur..... anyway, I am proud as can be of our little girl. Sorry the photo is not aligned.... that's just too much for me to work out... maybe next time. The other good news is there is no medical reason to stop us TTC when we want to start again, but if we do and we are lucky enough to fall pregnant - it will be rest, suture etc again. Totally worth it though :)

Thanks so much for your comments, spotting has stopped so feel a lot better about it! BUt im still off work today, just wanna take it easy and not push myself... ive had shoicking tummy cramps and the runs today! Ive found that my tummy just isnt tolerating dairy since i got pregnant and with all the stress yesterday i indulged in waaaaaay to much chocolate and ice cream and really paying for it today! Really weird cause had to change to soy milk and Nuttelex etc! Did anyone else have a more sensitive tummy since being pregnant?

Angelfish my bub isn't as active as it was either which concerns me at times but then I try reasure myself its still early days for me an hopefully in the next few weeks that will change.
T-Hopes so glad to hear bubba is doing just perfectly in there after your scan. I have the opposite problem now to you with the bowels. I get IBS but since becoming pregnant the usual things that sends me running to the loo I can eat all day long. Yeah on the doppler.
I've decided my belly is basically non existance. Can't wait for my next scan to confirm bub is actually growing. I feel so tiny for over 18weeks now.
t-hopes~ i have been hoping to see a post from you to make sure that everything is okay. Before i was pregnate could drink milk and have ice cream but ever since i go pregnate i have not been able to stand mostly milk. It will make sick for a couple of days. I can have ice cream in small amounts. And everything else dairt is fine i guess it another one of those wierd pregnancy things
Mildez~ As soon as i got off the internet not 5 mins after i posted and about ready to call the dr the baby has been super active.I swear she loves to scare me. Its been on going thing such as not being able to find a hb one time the dr rushed me to ultra sound and she was fine had one leg bent and rasing the other one. LOL my mom told me when i was a teen that see cursed me that my child would be twice as worse as i was and it's workin.I have had the scare about not having a belly i am 27 weeks and it has just started to show it takes a while sometimes to show
Just stopping in briefly... been reading everything just not posting as I don't normally have the time to.
T-Hopes - I got quite a bit of brown spotting and bright red bleeding between 7 & 13 weeks. I was told to consider myself on couch rest and take it easy, no heavy lifting (easier said than done with a 12kg toddler who is super clingy since I got pregnant), and rest as often as possible if I have to go anywhere.
Mildez & angelfish - My little girl tends to go though stages where she will be extremely active and it feels like she is kicking me in the heart, or the lungs, or the ribs lol and then she'll have days where she is really quiet and doesn't move or hardly moves at all.
Dory - Hannah is just gorgeous :)

Dory - It's definitely an amazing sight.. I sit and stare at my belly for ages now :) DP thinks I've gone a bit mad. Especially when I poke my bellybutton and laugh. Great news that there's nothing standing in the way of you having another baby if you guys decide to. Wonderful! Hannah Bear is just beautiful..... Excuse me while I burst into spontaneous clucking noises.
Angelfish - My little one has some 'quiet days' too... though I find now if I prod my belly I get a kick back in response. So cute!
T-Hopes - I don't know if you could call it 'sensitive tummy' for me.... but man, cauliflower and broccoli get me er, tooting. LOL Enjoy your doppler, and it won't be long before you're getting kicked to smitherines :) hehehe
Mildez - Around the 18 week mark is when I miraculously doubled in size over the next week. Just you wait and see, you'll be popping in no time :)

AFM - Visited the girls at work today for lunch, got some nice compliments about my belly being chunky, lol. Not much exciting going on here this afternoon except that I feel like eating raw puff pastry. That's not just a pg thing, I've always liked it..... yes I am strange.
