Hi Ladies
Thanks for the reassurance and support about the cramps, finding they are coming and going now so am assuming everything is normal. Neraly 1 week until my 12 week scan YAY!!

Angelfish ~ hope you are feeling better after the stairs incident - must have been very scary. I'm sure these things happen all the time - dont feel bad, the main thing is she'll be ok. I'm not a parent yet but they do seem to be quite resilliant! Hugs.

Wannabemum ~ not long now though ~ hope the time passes pretty quick. all the best!

Lysndan ~ sorry about your depression result - things may be fine though, its probably only a minor idea. GL at your Ob appointment, hope you can find out the sex.

wannabeamum lol about the alien movement i finally got a chance the other night to watch and i was telling someone oh im am watching the alien movement i am 29 weeks cant believe it probley about ten weeks left since i need a csection

Loops - can't wait for your 12 week results :) It's so exciting. Especially when I look at your signature - inspiring for a number of reasons :)

LnD - Knowledge is power - being aware and monitoring your own mental health is a really positive thing, not a negative. I was a high risk too with a personal and family history of depression, but had no problems with PND (aside from the normal feelings of "oh crap what am I doing" when you're completely sleep deprived!

10 weeks to go Angel - that's exciting! You're just about in count down mode now :)

I'm off to the Ob today, see what he says about how big this enormous baby of mine is - any guesses as to what weight this baby will be when it comes out? DS was 4.13 kg, or 9lb2oz.

WB- Your next arent you? My guess is 8lb13oz :) Your sooo close!!!

Question? Has anyone taken over the list yet since cheshire has left? Im thinking I will if everyone doesnt mind...:)

I am nervous today, got my next scan tomorrow, I am 8wks today and we lost our last one at 7wks 6days, got my first ob appt tomorrow afternoon too, my hubby was so excited the other day that he surprised me and bought a chair for the nursery I had been eyeing off! I asked if what if it all happens again and he told me not to worry he is THAT confident! Lol well fingers crossed and loads of sticky baby dust, I will let you know how I go :)

Oh ladies I forgot to update you. I had an OB appt yesterday due to some insane cramping. And we found out the sex of bubba. (well the doc is 98 percent sure...) We are having a girl. Amelia Jayde :)

blondtress, I agree your DH sounds really lovely - are you having a scan at the Ob? It's nice to see a little flickery heartbeat in there!

LnD - great news on your little girl, is that what you expected? I have a cousin Amelia, I love the name :) She gets Amy as a nickname. Angel's right, there are a LOT of little girls, anyone who knows is having a girl in here, no known boys coming!

I forgot to ask the Ob a size estimate today, but I'm seeing him in a couple of weeks, so he'll be able to tell me then. Head down, very high and mobile, but doing the right things. Itchy skin on tummy, and weirdly (TMI) perineum. Got advice re both so I'm happy.

Wbm I thought I was having a girl tbh I am a little disapointed I'm not having another boy, but not ungreatful that I'm pregnant and she appears to be healthy...

I've got 17 or so weeks to get used to it lol...

My belly is playing tricks on me... One day its looking hugely pregnant. Others its looking like I have had a few too many burgers. I just wish I would pop already. (i know ill regret saying that though. Lol)

Lysndan- I was sort of wanting a boy too but..I promise you that little girls are so incredibly sweet :)

WB- Im getting that horrible itchy skin too..Im also getting a weird discoloration on my stomach..have u ever had that?

Had a scare today...DH and I were rushing in the store and I wasnt paying attention and ran into him with my wallet pushing into my stomach. My tummy really hurt for an hour and we rushed home and did the water test..luckily she started kicking but it scared me :(

Well ladies Im back and am extremely excited to be here, it too a few days to come to terms with the fact we're pregnant again but it is a miracle that I am pregnant and that we conceive this baby naturally - so we shall embrace the opportunity!! Oh how a few good days of crying puts everything into prospective!

My heart goes out to all the wonderful ladies that have entered this thread and sadly had to leave... It is still early days and we are extremely cautious with this bubba, but fingers crossed everything will be okay.

I am too nervious to go for a scan yet as it is still early days, i think my heart would sink if it were too early to see a heartbeat... then i overthink things and go maybe i should go for a scan and see if i have had a missed miscarriage!! i hate that i have lost a baby before, because with these 2 pregnancies instead of being so over the moon excited like all my friends have been recently i am scared poopless that something might happen... it doesnt occur to other pregnant woman who haven't had loss that loss can happen, or at least they ont show it... and im not meaning to sound horrible, i wouldnt wish a mc on anyone, what i would wish is to feel that kind of excitement about my baby without knowing something could happen.

well thats my sad rant for the evening - Looking forward to getting to know all you lovely ladies in time...

LnD - it's weird isn't it. DH wanted a boy really badly, so finding out we were having a girl was a bit of a shock for him, but I think he's excited now - too bad if he's not!

Jess, no weird discolouration, just some new stretch marks :( My Ob said mylanta liquid for the itch can be helpful if moisturiser isn't helping enough. Less drying than calomine apparently. Moisturiser is enough for me at the moment.

My pelvis/hip was really bad this afternoon, couldn't weight bear again which sucked big time. Poor DS was worried about Mummy and wanted to kiss it better for me :) He really is very sweet. I'm starting to feel a bit better now, so hopefully I can sleep ok.

Whoah I haven't posted on here in a while! I need to make more of an effort... sorry ladies!! Some of my persies will be going back a way....

Clairesmummy - I hope you are having a better time since you posted about being exhausted. Sorry about your GD! Xxx

Dantri - My DH didn't believe my POAS lines at the time either, despite me telling him it was impossible to get them if not pregnant! Men! Lol. Sounds like you had the same as me with a missed m/c at 12 wk scan. Sorry hun, it's nasty isn't it? I also got an earlier scan this time at 6 weeks. I was also nervous at my 12 week scan this time. I don't think your scan regime is OTT given what you've been through! I also worry about friends who announce before 12 weeks. I also know how you feel about not wanting anyone else to get pregnant before you have a positive 12 week scan! You spend the months after the m/c TTC again and noticing every single pg announcement even more than usual, then when you finally do get another BFP you're so cautious and wary that you still dread other pg announcements until you see a safe 12 wk scan 'just in case' yours doesn't work again. Thinking of you hun xxx

blondtress - I've just reread all your posts since last being on here. It's been a bit of a journey so far! So glad your bloods have been good and you have a lovely happy heartbeat in there! Did the next scan find out anything about the possible twin/placenta projection? xxx Glad your DH has such good confidence!

WannabeMum - Hope your Mum's 60th went well! Yay for finishing work! Hope these last few weeks are going well for you. It'll be here soon! How exciting!! Get busy with your setting up!

Loops - every time I see your name I think of Froot Loops! Lol! Take that in a good way :) Froot Loops are bright, colourful and sweet! Hope your cramps and everything have settled now. Not long to go before your next scan!

LysnDan - Do you mind if I ask which hospy you're going to? Just curious after your post about the appointment. So glad bubs is doing well and that you know she's a she! I love her name too :D Don't worry, my belly keeps playing similar tricks on me too!

TM - I also worry about preterm labour, but just gotta keep swimming! :) Sorry about the tummy scare, but glad bubs moved for you afterwards!

AFM - Plodding along well. Had another antenatal the other day and the HB was 141, nice and strong :) Bub is still only fluttery, but getting more often. I don't think I'll have proper full on kicks for another few weeks as the placenta is at the front. Just glad everything is going well so far. 24 weeks now :) Will update more later as persies took a while and DH is impatient to get back on the computer, lol

Phebee, thanks for reminding me! They still don't know what the extra blob is, they don't seem too worried about it and say it is most likely the placenta or even a spot where the bleeding occurred. I suppose it is all so minute it is hard to tell, hopefully it doesn't give me any problems. My hubby was so relieved it wasn't twins! lol

Woot Woot - we have a little raspberry on board! Very early days, only CD 32.... hoping we get to stay. Off to the Dr tomorrow for bloods and referral. Got to love being classified high risk.

Just a quick one, since I read your post pheebee about froot loops I haven't been able to stop thinking about them. It went on for a day or so before I bit the bullet and bought a pack. But you can't buy small packs so I had to buy a family sized box. I ate sooo many today, no milk, just like crackers out of the packet and they were soooooo much better than I'd anticipated lol. DH thought I was nuts.

8 more sleeps till scan day.....

Well I'm having a me post today - my baby girl is having surgery today we are waiting right now for her to go in ..... Getting grommets not too serious but enough to scary me and DF .... Feel sick but can't tell if it's worry or morning sickness ... I hope both my babies will be okay ...

HPL - Ooh how did the surgery go? Poor love, hope she's alright!


AFM - A few aches and pains at the moment! Woke up this morning at 3:30 to pee and my outer thighs were sore, like the muscles felt strained. Kept waking up randomly after that (to turn over and stuff) and then my bum cheeks started feeling similar! Then later on today I got in the car and my neck started hurting on the right like I'd strained it, only when I look to the left - not fun for driving! It's now a tiny bit worse cause it hurts when I look to the right too. I can tell it's one of the ligaments or muscles or something that comes from my right shoulder up into my neck. Oh yeah and yesterday, the ball of my left foot started hurting like it was badly brusied, except when I checked, there was no bruise. It feels deeper than the surface anyway. I have no idea what caused that but it's made me walk funny and hurts when I drive (manual car)! Other than that I am doing really well and had a fantastic sleep on Saturday night/Sunday morning. Bub is still fluttering away... I'm not expecting proper punches and kicks for another few weeks, but that's okay :)

mmm so Blighted Ovum is what we are thinking.... Had ultrasound this afternoon, measuring well and truly behind my dates, too far behind for it to be good... Had blods taken again to see if HCG levels are rising, another ultrasound on Monday to see if the baby is growing.... I dont know anymore, i kind of always thought missed miscarrage but never wanted to say it outloud, it just seems all to familar to me - i dont feel pregnant anymore my breasts arent tender any more, morning sickness has disappeared....

I know there is still a chance, and that maybe my dates are wrong but I just have a feeling, a horrible one at that but I have a feeling..

Sorry ladies it has been a very much 'me' post of late.....

HPL - oh sweetie, I am sorry that you're feeling this way.... hope DD1 went well with her surgery.... hugs.

Oh know HPL I hope you have just got dates wrong... I hope that its not a blighted ovum or miscarriage :(

Afm well on zoloft now. Straight on 50mg. Doc has wanted me on it for a while now. We spoke about my anxiety and depression and have a plan for after the birth with in regards to medication and care.

Hope Positive Love, Thinking of you this morning and hoping that all is well and shall be well--

To everyone else-- I am stalking here... 'doing ok after miscarriage. I had another ultrasound and bloodwork to make sure that I was "back at zero." No residual tissue and my body is going through the motions again. We were told that we could try another IVF cycle in January-- we will need to see what the insurance people say. In the meantime, I am trying to get more physical activity and lose a few pounds-- keep the endorphins running strong. LOL.

One of my parishioners gave me a child's play nativity. It had been a baby gift for our little son who died. She didn't know what to do with it and couldn't return it. She wanted to acknowledge that he lived. It was a sweet thing to do-- she had tears in her eyes -- and I was grateful that she cared to talk to me about her dilemma. Under the circumstances, it was extremely touching-- and it had been enough time that I could handle it gracefully and with gratitude. Plus, the toy nativity is ADORABLE.

Sunshine -I am so very touched that your parishoner was able to give you the gift she had intended for little O. She was and is obviously holding little O and you in her heart. Well done for being able to accept the gift with such grace and humility. GL with the endorphin rush. In my experience it does help. January isn't too far away, but it will be a hard time emotionally for you no doubt. I hope the insurance company comes through for you and DH. Go gently as you heal. Life after the death of your child and losses is very very different, as you already know. Holding you and all of your family in my heart.

Well thought I would pop in quickly and say a HUGE CONGRATS to Dory, awesome news darl. Hope everything goes extremely well for you and hugs for being HIGH risk darl, seems we are in the same boat on that catergory. But as long as you have a happy healthy little bub at the end it is all worth while. :)

Would love to catch up with you all still feeling pretty darn exhausted here and still having times where I am now not throwing up but dry reaching every day still, for the last 2 weeks I have been suffering bad hay fever and having a few problems keeping my sugar levels low so looks like I am heading into having to Insulin, not impressed about that at all. Last check up with my GP was last week and everything seems great with our bub I have my 20 week scan in 2 weeks time so I am kind of looking forward to seeing bub but very scared about it all. We are hoping we will be able to find out if we are having a little boy or girl, I am thinking it has to be a bundle of blue in there. But then I thought the very same thing with DD and I was wrong, lol. I am trying to keep up to date with every body in here but between being sick and exhausted and running DD to school everyday as I have taken her off her bus now as I went to get her off the bus one afternoon and she was out like a light I walked onto the bus to hear the bus driver abusing her for being asleep, I was not impressed at all. How dare she speak to my daughter like that, she is only 6y.o and she was obviously very tired. Sorry for the rant I guess I am still peeved at the bus driver.

pqlal~ I have booked my scan darl, but it is my 20 week scan. Thank you for the good luck wishes, means alot to me. :) My scan is on Thursday the 10th November at 9am.

Hey everyone, I haven't been on BB much lately but thought I'd check in :)

So exciting to see all of you with your tickers plodding along nicely :) I'm so happy for you all!

Princess E is doing really well, rolling and babbling, almost 7 months old now!

And guess what! I might be joining you all again soon... very early days yet, so I need lots of sticky vibes, but I've had 5 faint positive tests in the last 3 days, slowly getting stronger, and had bHCG done today so I should get the results tomorrow, was a huge shock as DH didn't want any more kids and was going to be getting the snip soon and I was just starting to come to terms with only having 2 kids. 2 weeks ago yesterday we went on our very late honeymoon (we were married in Jan last year just after the first mc on our journey to have Princess E) and I could have sworn I O'd just before we left (didn't DTD until the third day of our honeymoon, so I'm only on 13dpo today going by that, 3wks 6d, due July 7th 2012 - which happens to be DHs birthday, he is not impressed with that lol), so this is very much a surprise.
he MS is already kicking in, feeling very queasy the majority of very day already, boobs are tender and feeling fuller, and this is the first cycle since Princess E was born where I haven't bee so bloated I look like I'm 4 months pregnant lol

So anyway, please keep it hush hush on the rest of BB and on FB as well if you're on my friends list on there, I won't be publicly announcing it until I hit 12wks and the scan says everything is ok.

I thought I'd let you guys know as I realy valued all your support while TTCing and while pregnant with Princess E.

Scan went very well today -- phhewww, I was so stressed going in. but BUB very active, nice HB of 143 BPM and all the right limbs and organs. We can finally be excited :D Not sure about the downs risk yet, but I'm sure it should be fine.
