ineedpixiedust, I'm so sorry to hear about your devastating loss. Blighted ovums are cruel
I've had two. I miscarried one at 9 weeks, got AF 34 days later (so only slightly longer cycle than normal) and got pregnant again the following cycle. Miscarried the next one at 7 weeks and got AF 32 days later.
Please don't be scared by the fact it happened again, blighted ovums are usually a one off thing. I had a very short luteal phase and we think it was low progesterone that caused them in my case. I'm now 19 weeks pregnant and things are looking good after using progesterone pessaries with this one.
Look after yourself for nowWhen you do decide to try again, the only advice I have is to make sure you have an understanding doctor who will let you have an early scan and do whatever tests you need to reassure yourself. It will be scary, but worth it
