19 week scan

Hi everyone,

Can anyone who lives on the northside of brisbane tell me if they have had or previously had their 19 week scan at redcliffe hospital and when did they make their appointment for this. Or did most people just go to QDI and have their 19 week scan their.

Can anyone tell me also about the morphology scan, what is this scan for and is it a must have scan?

Hi I dont live in Qld so no help there...
The morphology scan is the 18-20 week scan, I think it is the one pretty much everyone has as they check for growth and all major organs and body parts etc - so you have a good indication of the overall health of your little one. In my experience it takes a little longer than the other scans as they are v thorough in the checking.. I loved it tho as you see every detail. It is also when you can usually findout gender if you want to...

I live on the Gold Coast, i booked for my 19 week scan at my 13 week scan and at that point they were pretty full. I went to QLD Ultrasound for Women.

Dear hopefullmum2b,

i live on the northside of Brisbane i don't have my 19 week scan until the 18th June, i will be going to Qld Ultrasound For Women in Wickham Tce. That's where i had the Nuchal done as well. Hope this helps.
