Thanks so much for your kind words everyone...

baby started to kick when i was waiting for the scan, felt a bit relieved, but still didnt want to believe everything was OK until i saw a heart beat... Cried when i did, it was such a relief. OB did an internal and could find NO evidence of a bleed, cervix is closed and he told me that baby was staying put. Nice thing was that i got to see bubs again, but could do without the worry beforehand!

To answer the DTD question, no we hadnt, it was completely out of the blue
A timely warning i think, i am going to start saying No to people and lighten my load, i take on way too much stuff and i think that it is time to think about me for a while!

It was very scary and not something that i want to go through again...

Glad to hear all is ok with you and bubs. What a scare! I think taking things easy sounds like a fabulous idea. It's incredible how taxing pregnancy can be on our bodies. Relax and enjoy your pregnancy

Glad to hear Bub is fine. Whenever I have been worried about my bub not moving for what feels like a long period of time in the past I have eaten an iceblock or something sugary and they usually respond to that, I mean it's not fullproof but it usually works and might ease your mind quicker

Good to hear everything is alright!! Bleeds are soo scary!
I had one at 11 weeks right after my US and I was hysterical!!! It was just left over or something but I completely understand!

And yes lightening your load would be a good idea anyways! Take it easy cause you are growing a little person inside you and need the extra rest!! It took me a long time to realise that being pg does change what I can and can't do. I can't do all the same stuff I used to an be ok... so relax, take it easy and enjoy your little miracle growing inside you!!!
