Yesterday I had my 20 week scan (at 19 weeks) and everything went really well. We saw some amazing pictures and saw our little baby from every angle and everything appeared well, it was very exciting! I knew I had a blood clot as the obstetrician had told me and it was supposed to be checked out yesterday. I haven't had any bleeding in a few weeks. The lady doing the scan said she could still see the clot but it was well away from the placenta - which is sitting high and there was no blood flow within it. This morning I picked up the report and it says:
There is a subchorionic hypoechoic area at the lower margin of the placenta which measures 5.2 x 3.7 x 1.4cm and may represent subchorionic heamorrhage.
I did some google searches but can't find alot of info and the size of it seems quite large to me?? Has anyone experienced anything like this before?
