    Achy Boob ??

    hi

I've been getting a pain that is under my left boob! It hurts if i lean forward and a little tender to touch.....is this pain in my ribs or just normal pain in the booby area?? It comes and goes, and have only had it about twice but its quite painful.

I dont get it at any particular time eg - after a meal, etc

Just wondering if anyone has any ideas??

    Hi bugalug,

I also get alot of pains in and around my boobs. I have discovered that it was usually after wearing non maternity bra's that it happened. My old normal one's where digging in at the sides, and i ended up with sharp pains that night that didnt differ no matter what position i got into, was quite painful sometimes.

So maybe check out your bra's and see if they are getting tight anywhere. If they are, wear a bigger pair or maternity one's and see if the pains go away.

    HTH,

    Lea x

Hi Bugalug, I too have Achy Boob Syndrome but I have only had it in my left one? I'm pretty sure my bra still fits ok and I'm not wearing underwire anymore either... I'm not sure how to remedy the problem though.

Hope it goes away soon for you!

I read this thread with interest as I had this the other day and also only in my left boob. It got to the point where it was feeling really hot too so I ended up putting an ice-pack on it!! All my bras are maternity and have been fitted properly so I can't blame that and it has now gone away (I had it for about 3-4 days) so I think it is just another one of those pregnancy joys!!
