    Another kicking question...

I've had regular kicking (I'm guessing) for the last 4 weeks or so, generally in my lower belly with the odd one up higher. Today whilst I was driving to work I noticed the kicking was really low, it pretty much felt like it was in my bottom whilst sitting in the car seat. Ummm almost like a pulse? It would stop and start, and has done so all day, with the odd one in my lower belly and some very low in front too. Around lunch I had a few shooting pains in my tummy (like an upset tummy feeling) but that passed quickly within 5 minutes.

I guess my question is does this sound normal or has anyone else had similar? The spud seems pretty active most days and some nights too, is he/she just covering really good ground in there?

    Thanks in advance!

Sounds pretty normal to me. DS was a very active little critter on the inside, some days it made me laugh out loud. I'm sure people at work thought I was a little nutso with my outbursts LOL.

At the stage of pregnancy you're at, bubs still has quite a bit of room to move around, so its fairly easy for them to cover a lot of ground as you say. Feels like there's a party on the inside huh!?

And the shooting pains are more than likely just your uterus and the ligaments around it stretching and adjusting as you grow. But certainly if you're concerned about any pain that doesn't go away, get it checked out.

Good luck for the rest of your pregnancy! And keep enjoying all those lovely movements. Its the cervix punches that really make you squeal!

I was just thinking they could be hiccups with them being rhytmic! Can't remember what stage they start getting hiccups! DD would get them soooo often!

Thanks ladies! I was wondering about hiccups too because it can get into quite a rhythm. It was the feeling like my bottom was pulsing that totally threw me lol So that's bub on my cervix? Didn't even think of it..... thanks again

I got this, My DS always seemed to get the hiccups and I think it was associated with this.
