Awwwww Mel, I know what you are going through, my placenta was in exactly the same spot and I didn't get much movement either, no REALLY big kicks like I was hoping for which was a bit disapointing. No one ever seemed to have trouble finding Jonah with a doppler so that should be ok, but I guess you should be careful using one on your own I think they make you freak out too much if you can't find it.
