Got my nuchal scan result today (Monday lunchtime) - i have a 1 in 6 chance of having a down's baby. (at 38). Is this number really high? The other thread i found on this subject mentioned women whose risk were numbers like 1 in 147 for example.

Have been slotted in for a amnio test Wed morning 10am.

I am scared. I need to hear from other women who have some experience or knowledge of this amnio test i think, to keep me sane. This part of 2nd trimester is not feeling too magical.
