    Baby kicking

Quick one! I know we are NOT meant to be counting kicks this early but has anyone been advised how many kicks to expect per day? I am reading on google 10 kicks per day??

I am 23weeks and have an anterior placenta.

Yeah they say 10 kicks per day

i noticed some days she was more active than others, some days i would stress out coz she was not moving as much but she always made up for it lol

    Thats great

yeah often different positions will make them kick more or u will feel it more, ur bub may be kicking the wrong way for u to feel it.

Try a surgery drink or i used to drink anything fizzy and she would kick so much lol it was pretty funny

bubs may still be moving when ur lying down but u may not be able to feel it , it depends when little one is kicking u lol

try lying on ur side as well, that worked for me.
Just remember kicks will get stronger as the weeks go by

It is around 10 kicks a day, but when you have an anterior placenta, bub will probably be moving non-stop and you will hardly feel it. I only started getting noticable kicks at 26 weeks, before that, nothing. I'd go for a check up and the midwife would comment on how active bub was, but I couldn't feel a thing. You'll notice in the next couple of weeks that you can feel kicks more noticably as bub gets bigger and stronger. I wouldn't be worrying too much at this stage though.

I was told not to start counting kicks till i was 28 weeks as baby is still not strong enough to be felt every day and every movement and it unnessary worrie.

when i was 23 weeks i was not feeling kicks every day.
