Question Baby Kicking - able to feel from the outside?

    Hi

Just wondering how soon your partners/husbands were able to feel the baby kicking/moving? I'm 25 weeks tomorrow and while I can feel activity inside a lot of the time my hubbie still isn't able to feel it on the outside yet.
When I feel the movements inside I put my hands on the outside over where I feel the movements are but don't feel anyone on the outside. Should I be putting pressure on my tummy to feel from the outside or just gently laying my hands there?
Also do you find that the the spot where you feel the movement changes and isn't the same everytime. I am guessing that the baby has room to move at the moment and is in different positions which is why the spot changes.
Sorry hope I haven't waffled too much and you can see what I'm trying to ask.

    Cheers Meadsie

It was about 25 weeks when my df was able to feel a bub kick. But it is different for every woman, it depends on the position of your placenta.
Bub would be moving a lot so the kicks will be in different spots.

DH could feel Niki fro about 22 weeks.
I would take his hand and apply firm pressure. He said he could only just feel it but when he touched belly it was only light so couldn't feel it when he did it himself.

Yep you need to apply a bit of pressure to be able to feel those early kicks on the outside. DH first felt our bubs kick when we 22 weeks, but like Nae Nae I had to hold his hand there so he could feel them.

Yeah ive been feeling a lot of movement from inside, but dp cant feel much from outside yet.
Im 20 weeks, and was laying on my back in bed last night with my hands on my tummy, and i definately felt a light kick from outside.

so im pretty sure they will become more frequent in the next few weeks

Mine could be felt from the outside at about 22 weeks, but my DF was way too gentle when he rested his hand on my belly and couldn't feel it (I think he was worried he'd break it, lol). I ended up putting my hand over his and applying a bit of pressure so that he could feel the kicks.

I'm 27 weeks tomorrow and I can definitely feel my bub from the outside. My DH has been able to feel it for about 3-4 weeks now but there are still plenty of times that he misses the movements. In a few weeks time I am sure there will be no issues in being able to feel your bub moving from the outside.

I was 25w, 2d when DP first felt bub kick from the outside. I have a anterior (at the front) placenta so we knew it could be longer before it would be felt from the outside.

I hold DPs hand on my bump when we are laying in bed so I can move it if bubs moves or move it to where the kicks are getting stronger etc.
