    Baby moving or gas?

lol silly question i guess but im 17 weeks and i was noticing butterflies for a few days but 2 days ago i was laying flat on my back and i felt little bumps against my tummy.

some felt like bubbles some felt like little pokes against my belly.

Iv never ever felt anything like it but iv never been trying to see if it would happen either

i have noticed it a few times during diff types of the day since then

but i drink a lot of fuzzy water so im worried what im feeling is gas not bubs? hehe

what do u think ? how do we tell the diff

Sounds to me like your little bubba is saying hello to you! Everybody told me that the first movements would feel like flutters, but mine never did, they felt like exactly what you're describing only I wasn't sure until a couple of weeks on when they got stronger. Enjoy it, it is the most amazing thing!

Give it a week or two and you will know for sure. The movements just get more frequent and stronger.

    Sounds like bubs!!!

I started like that and had to concentrate and lay down on my back at about 16 weeks, number 3 so I knew what I was feeling for.
Then it progressed to being able to feel it when I was sat still.
Now I get to feel it as its getting stronger out and about etc standing.

Also hubby and kids have been able to feel it too if I lay down flat.

    Enjoy it will get stronger.

If you fart not long after you feel bubbles, it's wind...if you don't, it's your bubs! serious though!

I nilly choked on me coffee!!! LOL!!

Sounds like bubba moving around! I've been getting 'feelings' I had butterflies with my son but this time I get a small pain (nothing bad just more uncomfortable) on one side and if i race my hand down there quick enough I'll feel a small, hard lump that moves out of the way, I keep trying to poke and follow it but it's a hider

Everyone at work and family has said 'don't you think its a little bit early' so ... I have been secretly feeling bubs move at night and not telling them muahahahaha :P I am very petite so I think thats why I felt it earlier than expected (even if this time I have a anterior placenta). Just interesting that it is a completely different feeling than my son!
