I had my m/w appt on Wednesday and got the results back from my 18w u/s and I have to have another one as they said that it was inconclusive.

It said due to the maternal habitus and fetol lie they couldn't get a clear look at the spine and brain etc...

The midwife assured me that everything looks fine, but they just want to get a better look. She said the baby must have been lying the wrong way and due me carrying a few extra kg's they couldn't get a good look.

I keep telling myself that all is ok, but I can't help but worry. I have not come this far for something to go wrong now. I honestley could not handle it. They have asked me to get another u/s before my next appt at 25 weeks so for that reason I know that it isn't anything to worry about otherwise they would have made me get one straight away, but it's just so hard not thinking the worst...

Has anyone else had this happen???
