Best feeling in the world!

OH baby kicks are the BEST feeling in the world!!!

My little Boots started kicking me yesterday, at 16w1d

I wasnt expecting it while lying in bed playing on my iPhone, but I got one more after the first and I knew that YEP that is my baby!! This morning I got many more while I was lying awake in bed

I just hope that I can remember these first magical kicks when they are much stronger and decide to wedge a hand or foot up in to my ribs!!

Just thought I'd share my happiness for this morning

Now its more like a mini tidal wave on my organs

So it seems like I have 10 weeks to enjoy these kicks before it starts feeling like that!!

I remember DD's first movements at 17 weeks. I was laying on my belly with an aloe vera patch on my bum (I fell against the wood fire, resulting in 2nd degree burns on my bum. Quite funny, actually. Just shows you should pull your pants up a bit more before you crouch in front of a fire!!) and it felt like little pops in my belly.
I remember eating tea at night, something hot it was, and as soon as I starting eating I felt the little pops and flutters in my belly.
I remember stopping suddenly as it clicked in my head what is was. It was so cool to sit with DP and say "The baby's awake!".

I am so pleased for you, envious too!

I am waiting for the obvious signs from my little man & just saw your post mum2romone.
I am a tummy sleeper (now kinda up on a body pillow, as on my belly hurts when I lie flat) and notice that when I lie like that I feel my insides (belly area) pumping, kinda like a pulse I guess. I also feel this when I bend over. (as much as i can these days!

)
I don't feel anything from my belly area at other times tho...could this be my little guy??

Definitely warm and fuzzy feeling!!
I told DH yesterday when he got back from work that I felt some kicks and he asked why I didnt call him and tell him!! lol I said cause I didn't think he wanted to be disturbed at work for some little kicks that have started..
