    Isn't it a bit early? (a little T.M.I)

For my boobs to be leaking that is. They have been since I was about 16/17 weeks preg. Has anyone else had this happen so early, I didn't get this until 30 weeks with ds.

I don't know how there going to go around BILs baby who is due at the end of the week :/

I started leaking, just realised, straight after my first labour scare at 28 weeks.
Wear a breast pad. Nothing to worry about.
I used to sleep in the nude (lol) until I started leaking. DP was getting sick of waking up with breast milk all over him cause I cuddled him all night. hehe

I started leaking at about 15 weeks. Now they are extremely leaky and I can express a decent amount It surprised me too, I wasn't expecting them to leak that soon!

Mine have been leaking for a couple of months. With DS1, the only reason I even tested for pregnancy was because my boobs started leeking - I was 5 weeks!

Don't worry, it doesn't come down to if you leaked or not I hardly leaked while pregnant with my daughter, and I have a great supply now (and leak massive amounts from the breast I'm not feeding from when she's latched!)

Sent from my iPhone so forgive the speelung misstacks

Yep, so far no leaks this time, didn't leak much until about 30+ weeks with DD but still was able to feed her successfully. Give it time, some women don't start producing milk till right before or even just after birth, but still manage to feed their bubs

I havnt actually noticed my boos leaking as such but there has been on 2 occasions where ive woke up and ive had a really tiny patch on my shirt (which had dried by the time i found it) near where my nipple was..so it was kind of just a dark patch..no idea i thought if it was though i would notice it alot more.

What are your recommended foods while breastfeeding? To have more milk.

Mom2be - I was still feeding my son when I fell pregnant with my daughter. I honestly don't think my milk had the chance to dry up, but I never leaked.
Have you tried expressing a little? I've had 4 pregnancies & only ever knew there was anything there if I squeezed. I never leaked until my milk came in after my babies were born.
All of my children were breast fed

Please someone correct me if i'm wrong but unless you are already feeding another child/baby you will only leak colostrum anyway not milk. From posts i've read in the breastfeeding section from Barb it says because the hormone your placenta produces mmm maybe the progesterone that counter acts the production of prolactin that produces the milk stops you body from starting the milk making process. It's only once the placenta is expelled that your body starts making the milk normally around day 3 - 5 post birth.

Mom2be maybe get some ABA breastfeeding classes before bub arrives or get the breastfeeding naturally book available off there website, it's provides alot of useful and helpful information.

    *bump*

I just read on Fit Pregnancy that many women leak colostrum at around 9 weeks which seems quite early. Has anyone on here had colostrum at 9 weeks? I'm almost 9 weeks but no liquid to speak of.

Mine never leaked when I was pg with DS either, nor when my milk first came in. I was massively engorged but they'd only let that milk out when DS was suckling. I breastfed him for 16 months
