    Braxton hicks, early arrival?

Hi there, my first bub I had b/hicks from 26 weeks all day everyday till bub came 2 weeks early now with 2nd bub I have been having them since 17 weeks and very noticeable, Dr already said this bub won't come late so does that mean there is a connection between b/h and early arrivals?

I had regular BH from 14 weeks with DS and he wasn't born until 42 weeks.

With this bub I've been having BH since 9 weeks and am still pregnant (38.5 weeks) so i'm thinking no!

I'm talking regular, strong BH too, not just random ones.

I had BH from about 20weeks with my last pregnancy - he was 10days overdue. So 'no' I don't think there is any correlation.

I have had BH very early with this one too, have no idea when to expect her.

I don't recall ever having them with DD, and she was induced at 38 weeks. Getting them quite regularly with this one, but like Misty - will have to wait and see when he decides to arrive

Every pregnancy is different, I wouldn't worry too much about it.

I had them very early with all three, I had a 34 weeker, 37 weeker and 39+5 so it doesn't seem to be a factor, there are so many other things that decide when bubs is here. Everyone was convinced ds would be around 34 weeks but he got to term.

No I dont think there is any connection. I had them from 16 weeks last time and I was induced @ 38+4 but I wasnt even close to labour so If i was able to go without being induced im sure she would have come late!

Not for me! I had them very strongly from very early on with DS1 and he was born 11 days over. This time I've barely had any but will have to wait and see when bub comes.
