with my last child it started around 13-14 weeks and was a all day every day painful occurance i was diagnosed with irritable uterus at about 18 weeks from memory ( which is kinda shot today )
Mine started at 16 weeks as well, but I also got them (even earlier) after adult cuddles . It's quite distracting... one moment its bliss, the next moment I have a hard muscly lump pushing out of my belly . The joys of pregnancy LOL.
Im not too sure what its suposed to feel like...had no pain except for a few times a stitch like feeling which I thought was my stomach muscles stretching to make room 4 baby...and sometimes my tummy goes hard but no pains...? Although when I went for my 20 wk scan the sonographer said she could SEE that id been having them?? So if I am getting them, im oblivious to it!!
With my first pregnancy I think they started around 30 weeks, but with the second they started about 15 weeks, they weren't painful though, just a tightening over the tummy.
