Bub is bigger now... and kicking me hard in a new area!

I'm getting kicked and poked and prodded in a new area lately!!
Our baby seems to think it's great fun kicking me right down real low in what feels like my cervix area!! It's kinda like that feeling when you are getting a papsmear and they are taking a scraping of the cervix!! It feels like that!! I checked with another friend IRL who agreed with me that's what she felt..... I'm experiencing it now as i'm sitting at my desk and it's so uncomfortable!! Baby is just moving around so much I suppose cos there is so much room in there at the moment?? the movements are so rapid and frantic!
I've had it for a few days now and makes me wonder if baby is head down or perhaps it's just baby's foot or hand kicking me there..... suppose it could be any part of bub's body hey? Feels like bubbles popping sometimes too down low...which is new to me....

Last night while watching TV it was happening so much, bub was real active and it was becoming a bit uncomfortable!! I love getting kicks and movements it's so beautiful but lately it's been uncomfortable in 'that area' where i get kicked!! I was prodding my belly hoping baby would move up higher above my belly button as it doesn't hurt when I get kicked there (yet!)

Any ideas how to get baby to move away from my cervix region?!?!? or i'm just dreaming lol
Oh, and off my bladder!!! I am constantly peeing as the pressure in my lower abdomen area and bladder is huge!
    Cheeky thing.....
I'm only 23wks pg but geez this baby feels BIG already!! haha!!!

I googled "baby kicking my cervix" and found heaps of people have experienced the same thing and it's very common..... noone had any ideas as to how to get baby to move though! lol

I'll try your suggestion! Thx! Although I suppose if baby is comfy there, then nothing will make bub move!
I did try walking around a bit before and that seemed to help rock the baby to sleep lol as the movements stopped.

The last 2hrs I haven't had any kicks in the cervix so I'd say bub is fast asleep.... so I'm enjoying the 'break' while I can!!!

If you figure out a way let me know.
I am sure my baby is trying to claw it's way out of there at times.

I know bubs is head down and low low low, maybe bubs is searching for the light?
I dunno but sometimes it really hurts!!

Ohh yes I remember those kicks, ouchy! Feels like a hand is about to drop out of you know where!

I found going for a walk helped to put baby to sleep, or getting down on all fours to take the pressure off your cervix - tricky to do if you're at work I know! People ask what on earth you're doing!

As for the constant weeing, can't help there, and it doesn't get any better till baby is out sorry. Stay close to a loo!

Isn't it the weirdest sensation?!? It feels so different to just the normal kicks and movements that you get in other areas like your belly button area and side areas.....

It is exactly as if the baby is trying to claw itself out of there!!!! hehehe haven't had any more since this morning I'm guessing bubs has been sleepy!

Hehehe...yes I squirm just thinking about it! I didn't feel anything like it until about 3 weeks ago when my belly seemed to "drop" and then it was all the time, with this clawing sensation.

I tell DH the baby is "blipping" around, because it has that weird bubbly sensation too, like displaced fluid...ewwwww....

    I much prefer high kicks!

Ren, wait til bubba is bigger and engaged. I remember shopping a week before Ben was born and he decided to whack my cervix a few times! OUCH! Felt like an electric shock in my nether regions

I got Twobob to move off my sciatic nerve yesterday by getting down on all fours with my bottom in the air and asking nicely Yep, I was at work, half under my desk. VERY attractive

Last time with DD I was doing a lot of yoga and found that headstands helped in that regard - I'm not recommending you try that however if you haven't been doing them before! But if you go down on all fours with your buttin the air higher than your head it might help.

Yeah I've been getting on all fours and that has seemed to help heaps!! Bubs hasn't been kicking me in the cervix region much since I posted actually!! Occasionally now and then but no way near as much! getting more higher kicks, the one's that are more comfortable! hehe

Welcome to the start of motherhood

Yes I had that too, and for me it didn't stop untill she was out LOL. It does get worse at the end. I remember only being able to walk a short distance before having to sit down. It felt like DD was trying to dig her way out, hehe. I am glad you found a way to move bub away from there

    Hi Ren,
Wow you are really moving along now, time flies!!! Re kicking- I am experiencing the same thing, for me I am thinking it is because we are having a boy this time, totally different kicking sensation than the girls. I agree with the other ladies about getting down on all fours and walking around, it really helps. I hope that your pg is going well.

about getting kicked in the bum, me too, it is the strangest feeling, lol. I like it when bubs is up higher too so I don't have to pee every 5 seconds but no idea how to move it either!
