19w1d was when I felt bubs move first and now he is very active, particularly after dinner (perhaps my stomach is stealing his room) and also later and night when I am less active. But its pretty random as well - the coolest thing is feeling hiccups!!
there didn't seem to be a pattern but as others said during the day you tend to be busy and so don't notice everything and will always seem to notice when your still and relaxed.
At night when i layed down the baby nearly always moved. Infact Dh used to "play" with the baby every night when we went to bed by rubbing/poking my tummy and the baby would follow him around and kick at him. DH is looking forward to this part again.
I haven't got real kicks yet so they seem really irregular and sometimes i am still not sure if it's just a muscle spasm or the baby, as i never felt the "pre-kicks" the first time around. I guess i can expect them soon, it was 20wks1day the first time round and I am just over 17 now.
I started feeling some fluttering about a week ago and have not felt anything since So I am starting to get a bit worried that I ahve not felt anything for a week
Serenity, Dont worry the same thind happened to me. It still does dependiing on where he is sitting.(he can appear to go quiet for a few days, then he is back with a vengance!) I felt movement really early, like 15 wks, then nothing that I could say was definate till about 22 wks.
Bubs will be fine, the location of your placenta can muffle things a bit as well
My bub seemed to move all the time... It was as if she barely ever slept! lol But when I first started feeling her move it was mostly at night. I'd be laying at the lounge watching TV at night and she'd be none stop! As I say as time went on I felt her a lot more and a lot harder (naturally) as she grew. It was the best feeling and I miss it so much!
This one has quiet afternoons, then fires up in the late evening. I don't get a lot of action overnight, so I'm hoping this is a pattern that will continue after birth!!
