I am another one who had PE with my first and with my next 2 absolutely no signs of it. All have been vaginal births - although I will admit that I came close to having emergency c/s with my first and I am so glad that didn't happen.

Wombles - like you said, take each day as it comes, but it seems to me that the midwife has jumped the gun a bit my booking you for a c/s already. There is no way she can be 99% sure - there is not even that high a probability of PE happening again.
