I agree that the appts don't have to be long, public or private. I really think it's the things like a room to yourself & so on that make the difference between public & private. The same things get checked throughout your pregnancy & doc, ob, whatever they are all busy & some have different manner to other regardless of if it's private or public & they will be a quick, take as long etc as they please if that makes sense?
I went public & can't fault it! My doc was great, had all the checks needed, etc & so on.
