Cat and newborn

I just find cats to be unpredictable, especially this cat which we got fully grown, only 3 weeks ago.

Every day i see it do something different that worries me, especially it pouncing at movement. It really has me worried.

You have had some great advice from people on here who have experience with cats and babies but essentially you need to do whats you think is best.

If you only got this cat 3 weeks ago I am wondering why you didn't think more seriously about cats and babies before hand, sorry it just does not make any sense to me.
