cramping badly every 2 or 3 minutes but feels like wind pains

    Hi guys..

I'm hoping someone is up late to help me. I threw up about an hour ago (seems to be coming a nightly occurence) and then about 15 minutes later started getting really strong cramps like wind pains every 2 or 3 minutes. They are excruiciating and last about 30 seconds then go. Is this normal. Do i just have gas? this has been going on now for almost 45 minutes.

Hey Mrs Hendo, I'm afraid I'm not much help, I never experienced anything like that...however I would recommend ringing your care provider if you are concerned? if only to put your mind at ease! I hope everythings ok xxxx

Yup, I'd be getting myself to an ER pretty quick - best case scenario you get a bit embarrassed by a false alarm, but if somethings happening, it's better to get in soon KWIM?

Thanks for all your advice ladies I was really panicking. A few minutes after I posted getting ready to go down to emergency just to be safe.I broke wind very long and loudly and pain went and didn't come back so i am pretty sure thats what it was. Very very scarey though. I fell back alseep when talking to my DH about it ( i must have been exhausted) I have just woken up and still thinking i should go get checked out. pain gone now so i really do just think it was wind. It has never felt like that before which was extrememly strange.

im glad all is ok, must have been scary, i used to use de-gas during pregnancy which helped with wind pain and bloating, worked well!

    Glad you're ok now.

See if you can think back to what foods you have been eating maybe? For me, dairy and fatty foods give me horrible wind pain this pregnancy! And the pain is revolting!!!! Sorry if TMI - I found sitting on the toilet with my feet up on an upturned washing basket for a while helped 'remove' some of the wind! Take a book though! It gets boring in there! God knows how the boys sit in there for so long!!!
