Are dead arms and legs common in pregnancy?

My legs are constantly falling asleep lately - almost any position I sit in my legs will fall asleep and then get those overwhelming pins and needles while they wake up again.

I have woken up a few times recently with my arms being asleep during the night as well.

I don't remember having it this much when pregnant with DD - could it be a sign of something bad? Low blood pressure or something?

ps. I can't STAND those pins and needles!!!!!

I think it is common. That's why we preggo ladies get things like fluid retention, restless leg syndrome and carpal tunnel syndrome. I *think* it has something to do with the extra fluid and blood circulating in our bodies and the swelling of blood vessels and capillaries which my OB said causes fluid to get caught in and build up in joints etc.
