This happens to me too. I have days were bub feels really active and seems he's awake all day. Then there's days like today where I have only felt movement once, and sometimes I don't notice any movement at all. I imagine the anterior placenta would soften the movements a bit too, so you may not notice them all the time, especially if you are busy and have your mind on other things.
Ohh, cool, thankyou heaps. I must admit some days it does concern me. I am sure there are times when I dont notice cause I am busy and then there are other days that I really notice and it scares me. Although I always feel some sort of movement.
PS I have been meaning to ask, Why the left side? I know thats what everyone says, but was wondering why?
i've also found that doing an antenatal swimming class is great for encouraging movement ! all the women in the class experience the same thing and the next two days after the class the baby sits higher, is more active and you feel much better too! i get the feeling that the baby is really happy after the classes - which is probably just cos I am.
