    Fritz??

    hi all

    hope everyone is well. my partner just told me he ate a fritz and sauce s-wich and now i want to eat one (or 4).... are we allowed it????

    oh ... um that's what us South Aussies call it... hahaaha ..

    victorians call it something else... um.... let me see.....it's a roll of meat? in the fridge section of supermarkets - and oh... you might now it as devon?

    I'm not really sure, for me I would consider it to fall within all the other lunch cuts that a are a potential listeria worry. So if you're really hanging for it, just fry the fritz so it's hot and heated through, then have it on your sandwich. The heat will kill any listeria. Same goes for ham.

    NB - fritz is similar to devon but more like berliner. Just yummier.

    all those cold meats are a no no.
    ham, salami, devon etc unless it's cooked and piping hot.
    I'm really missing it, so I feel your pain. lol

    Yep I wouldn't risk fritz personally. Not that I eat the stuff really anyway.
