Yuck - I had gastro 5 times when pregnant last time - basicially every 6 - 8 weeks.

Keep your fluids up - and there should be no complications.

hi mate, i had shocking gastro (so did ds) when i was 20 weeks pg. the main problem i had was that i was throwing up water and so couldn't keep enough fluid down which is damaging to the baby. i ended up going to my ob who gave me a prescription for maxolon, which stopped the throwing up so that i could at least drink water and eat some cheese on toast.if it had gone on any longer i would've had to have been put on a drip.

I got gastro a week before my EDD with my DS. I kept thinking id go into labour and still have the bug..luckily for me, he came late...LOL

As sugested, keep up the fluids, thats the most important issue.

As far as i know, it wont hurt bub at all

I had gastro at 38 weeks with DD2. She is severly lactose intolerant but no-one knows for sure if that is what caused it, and seeing as there are plenty of healthy and happy bubs here who were subjected to Gastro in utero I think chances are pretty slim of any complications or illnesses arising from it. Just keep your fluids up and if you are worried go to the doctor.

Definitely keep up your fluids if it hits you. But drink small sips slowly, not big gulps as you will just throw it back up and end up dehydrated (I learned the hard way once).

Make sure you and your boys wash your hands frequently to help minimise the risk of you catching it too. I hope they get better soon .
