please don't judge..just need some advice

    hi ladies.
Please don't think I'm a bad person for this, but last night dp and I had a massive fight, I got upset and stormed out, and not thinking of my poor bub I drowned my sorrows in a bottle of wine. Followed by a few more afterward.

I didn't even think about wat I was doing, just so upset and angry and wanted to forget.

I have woken up this morning very hung over and am having bad anxiety as I'm so worried wat I might have done to upset or affect bub.

I still feel it moving, but should everything be okay? I'm so stupid to have done wat I did, but now I just have to worry bout if bub will be ok.

Should I eat a big meal or anything that might help?

If it's a one off thing, bub will hopefully be ok.

like Skye says, if it's a one off bubs will probably be ok. How are you? Please be kind to yourself ok.
If your coping mechanism when things get really tough is to get drunk maybe you should be proactive about it and talk to your midwife. She can give you a referal to a counsellor who can help you with other coping mechanisms. One thing I can guarantee is that after bubs arrives there will be some stressful times so you may as well figure out how you will cope with them now.

I think you will be OK as long as it is just a one-off. Bubs is pretty well developed by this stage & should be able to get through it just fine.

I agree with the others as well. If you feel you need some additional coping strategies, then talk to your midwife/GP about referring you to a counsellor. Also, maybe talk to your partner about having a signal during an argument when enough is enough & you both leave the argument until you calm down.

But he is fine Your bub will probably be fine too. Don't beat yourself up to much ok.
