Got my Mountain Buggy

Hi all,

Just letting you know of some changes to Mountain Buggy, which might be important in terms of when you buy your pram.

After much deliberating we decided on an MB Swift. I had hoped I would find a great sale, but then I discovered the whole thing with their manufacturer going broke etc (Google for news reports).

From what I've read, they have (as of this week) shipped production to China. The Chinese-made prams may or may not have the 3 year warranty - they haven't said which yet.

I really wanted a NZ-made one (although I believe parts are made in China and prams are assembled in NZ), and especially wanted a 3 year warranty. So this week I bit the bullet and ordered one - haven't got it yet, but eagerly awaiting its arrival!

Thanks for letting me know, ours has just arrived (we ordered it at the start of August) and we've yet to pick it up, so I think it might be a NZ made one...?
I had no idea that they were moving production to China....will have to look into it and hope it doesn't affect quality etc!
I've only heard good things about it, surely they wouldn't risk that reputation!
