Hey ladies just wondering if anyone else is having back problems at this stage or thinks they going to have back problems i knew i would have a hard time when got pregnant as when i was preg with my first son i damaged my back and because i was preg they could not fix it so i knew it was going to come so have myself set up with belly bra and some anti inflamtory cream.
Yeah I am having back problems. I started getting it when I was just coming into the second trimester. I think its because of the Relaxin that has been released into our bodies to accomodate for the bubs growing. I usually use a wheat pack heated up and lay on it for a little while also I have a lavender shower gel and i get hubby to massage my back while i am in the hot shower and it helps alot. Just do some back stretches but very gently. i sway from side to side slowly and stretch the muscles.
I have been experiencing some lower back pain. Am going to get a wheat pack to try and ease the pain and have been doing stretches. I tried the massage chair we have but it didnt feel great. Might hit DP up for some massage time! Hope your back gets better soon and you dont have it to the same degree as you did with DS.
thanks for adivse ladies i went to my physo and she said they can not do alot for me as am pregnant she got me to sit in chair backwards while she massaged it help for few hours i have ben wearing a belly bra and that has been working ay it feels and sounds funny but they work something for you other ladies to try.
I do not want to do acupuncture when pregnant ay i know there special ones out there that specify in pregnany but not for me ay.
My back pain hit me about 3 weeks ago. It was not lower back though. It has been across the rib cage at the back mainly the right side. I first thought my back was out so went and got an adjustment and of course it was out so was a few ribs (never happened before) but makes sense as that is wear the discomfort is. Not even a hour later it was back again, so 2 days later I went back for another adjustment, more ribs out! (what the?). Ok lets try remedial massage. I have had 2 of those now which hurt like crazy but I toughed it out certain that it would solve the problem. Nope, still uncomfortable and mainly when I am sitting in car or on a chair. I figure that because I am only short that everything is pushing up into my chest cavity making my ribs and muscles in that area stretch and due to a nasty car accident some years ago where the right side of my back was damaged this side is not giving into the movement very well. I find myself leaning up against a corner of a door or wall and rubbing or just standing up for a while. Heat is awesome, what a relief when I am stuck in the car for a while.
So far this is my only complaint, other wise I love being pregnant!
