Red face Holy Moley ... juicy boobies!

Ok, sorry if that title is a bit graphic lol!

    But that's what they are!

I had very sore bbs on saturday, and was giving them a massage when holy moley what is that?!?!?!?! There's clear stuff coming out of my nipple. So I give the other one a squeeze and theres stuff coming out of that one as well!

I actually (embarassing to say!) burst into tears! Not cos I was sad or anything, just the shock of it, and a bit of happiness too (though mostly shock as I'm only 16 weeks!!!!). And I was kind of worried at first that it was an infection or something, but no I'm just an early bloomer... starter showing early, felt kicks early, and now I'm making booby juice!

It's not actually leaking yet though, which I am thankful for, though it freaked Shel out as I had told her no theres nothing in them until thrid tri... and now she won't go near them LOL!

Just thought I'd share on here! Another major milestone of my pregnancy lol!

sassy123 -wait until there is something in there after bubs is born and you really can squirt them from a good 3ft (or more) away when they are picking on you.

Alisia - thats great news - I remember with my first it happened early and I was a bit confused until I did some reading

hun it is normal. when i was pg with Sarah, i had to wear breast pads from about 16 weeks, or i would have little drops on my work shirts, not a good look when u r a receptionist lol. i stopped bfing em 5 months ago and i can still get a drop out when i want to. u can express it and freeze it for bubbles first cold if u want because it is so high in antibodies and will help to make them better, i used frozen ec for em's 1st cold and i had the cold longer than her.

    Question

Oh wow really? Well, I'm not getting quite enough to express yet lol, but someone said don't express during pregnancy because apparently (according to them ) it can cause a miscarriage or early labour or something... I think they said something about it causing contractions, which I have heard (like the theory behind breastfeeding to help birth the placenta), so I was going to ask my midwife but since you brought it up I might as well ask..... Yes or no to expressing (when I have enough lol) while pregnant???

We run cocoa butter all over my belly and bbs on a nightly basis and a couple of weeks ago I started to leak just after rubbing the cream in.

I didn't cry but I was so excited, i couldn't wipe the smile off my face. I must have looked as stupid as it sounds. It was another one of those milestones and another one of those - yep I really am pregnant moments.

Like you I haven't had any leakage unless they are massaged...... until we dtd the other night..... TMI warning......

DP got up and his chest and mine were all gooey and all I could do was laugh considering 2 nights before, it was sooooooo hot that I slept with just my undies on and he thought it might be a good time to grope at my bbs while they are 'just there' and as he touched them they had booby juice on them, I've never seen anyone move their hand off the female body so fast!! After squeeling EWWWW he proceeded to tell me that 'that bb is the naughty one'. He didn't touch me again for the rest of the night..... needless to say there was no more juice that night either

Well, now you've admitted it smudgies_mum... yes, I had an interesting DTD moment on Sunday... Well, actually, I just laughed my head off while Shel jumped away in horror Honestly, you'd think it was acid the way they react!!!!! It wasn't even that much, hardly even enough to notice really (although its mostly my fault because I did say "oh look, i'm leaking!!!!" hehe).

Haha ROFL i'm a sprayer too kel, it's so annoying and funny at the same time.
Leasha i was lekaing from about 15w and i was really worried - but all is a-ok.
I haven't heard about it causing miscarriages but it CAN cause contractions... mind you, this should ONLY happen if your body is actually ready to go into labour... (trust me ive tried the nipple tweaking, the expressing, all of it and im still sitting here like a duck waiting to pop!)
What i can advise is, unless they're really sore try not to squeeze too much - supply and demand rule - im sure some of it is unavoidable but mine have gotten out of control!!!

I expressed about 3 bottles of colostrum between 36 and 40 weeks and only went into labour after a stretch and sweep. nipple teaking often doesn't work and if it does, bonus! if u do go into labour early they will give you a drug called niphetipine (sp) which is an anti spasmodic and does usually stop it. sometimes it works too well. Sarah tried to come 6 weeks early and the niphetipine made her go 9 days overdue
