How close did you deliver to your dates?

I was 10 days over with both of mine... and they were both over 10 lbs lol with my daughter outweighing her big brother by 1 and a half ounces. Hope this one comes early or I might hit 11 lbs

Jack was two days over (but I went into labour in the evening of the day after he was due). Tom was 3 1/2 weeks early.

DS - 39.3 - 7.1p
DS - 40.3 - 7.12p
DD - 39.0 - 7p
DD - 35.6 - 6p this was due to a high water leak at 22wks

I delivered James right on 40 weeks and on my birthday too.

first boy - 34 weeks 6 days - spontaneous rupture of membranes and then went into labour and had him the same day

second boy - 38 weeks 4 days - induced for medical reasons but was 2 cm dilated at 36 weeks and then 3 cm dilated at 38 weeks 3 days when i went in for the induction so i dont think he would have been far off anyway.

third baby - 31 weeks and counting. so not sure yet what this one is going to be!

I had my first son ten days over due and i was induced not much happened very quickly very slow labour.

My second son my waters broke just as I was trying to go to sleep at night and I had him on his due date the next day .

Hopefully this baby is as nice and comes quickly and not ten days over.

N0.3 38w induced due to medical reasons(RH iso immunisation) 6lb 9oz
No.4 right on due date 7lb 3oz
No.5 37w induced due to medical reasons(RHiso immunisation, ended up in NICU and SCN with severe jaundice and double volume blood and platelet transfusion, 3 transfusions by 8 months of age) 6lb 5oz
No. 6 35+5 days PROM (labour stalled due to drugs at 32 w) spontaneous labour 5lb 6oz

Everyone told me I was going to go over as it was my 1st baby, but at 35 weeks 5 days, I had a sponatneous rupture of membranes and went into labour. I was induced and DD was born that day (although they reckon that even without the induction she would have come later on that day). She didn't need to spend any time in NICU, she just came when she was ready.

My daughter was born at 38.5 weeks and was 2.9kg/6lb 7oz, so close enough to her "due date". I wasnt taking the due date the hospital told me as gospel though, I was just thinking bub will be born in March some time. I too was told "oh its your first, you'll go over" and people were telling me "dont have your baby on the 3/3". heheh
