LOL glad to see someone else asked the question.. I am nearly 24 weeks and can JUST still manage to shave mine in the shower at this stage (my bump is slow growing..). Think mirror and razor option is the gunna be next best thing, or just go by feel.

Unfortunately i don't have a DP or DH to help me out one of my girlfriends offered months ago to help when i got to this stage, but i don't speak much with her now, it would be a bit odd turning up and saying 'can you shave my nether regions plz'

hey clover, I wonder if in my situation FOB wants enough involvement to partake in such 'maintenance duties' in order for me to be happy whilst pregnant LOL. it is totally in the best interests of the child......... I'm sure he doesn't wanna be born struggling to emerge through a jungle.. the trip down the canal is hard enough!

haha nah in all seriousness, ill see how i go with the mirror, feeling my way etc. and if i get over it and give up ill request a nice nurse (or my midwife) can do it in time for the delivery. i don't wanna be hairy in labour. gotta get a good view on my cam corder......

haha bubs is kicking me right now. must think i'm funny too

i didn't really bother too much until the night before dd's c/s, i went in for a brazillian, the chickie reckoned she didn't have time, so just did a bikini wax, which was a waste of time and money, and i ended up squatting in the shower doing the feel-and-shave...

Lol i sat on the bathroom floor with the mirror pulled out of the bathroom cupboard with a torch shining on my ahem... so i could see properly because the light in the bathroom is really dim, wasnt fun i can tell you that, especially the night before i was induced at nearly 42 weeks!

Meh, I wouldn't worry too much. I've never cared much. They can kiss my butt if they have a problem with it. They see these things every day, I can imagine there would be alot of women out there with worse forrests than mine, lol.
Though I've never had stitches either. A friend of mine got a very embarrassing comment from the ob while being stitched. She had no partner, so had no reason to care, so didn't. Til the ob mentioned that most women try to keep tidy down there for them & that it does make it easier when stitching!
A cousin made sure she stopped shaving before labour, coz she's very very tiny & didn't want them to think she was only 12!

Dh did mine and he loved it, he and was all serious and really careful.
Had the clippers and the razor all set out and I just lay back on the bed reading my book

Did have to let him try out his handywork after, but it was a small price to pay
