This thread is great. So interesting to see how different pregnancies can be!

I had an OB appt this morning and I've actually lost the only kilogram I've gained so far!! I'm back to my pre-pregnancy weight of 60kgs. I have a nice little bump and a lot of my clothes are getting tighter (I wear mat pants most of the time now) so my DH and I were quite shocked. My OB wasn't concerned at all as bubs is very healthy and growing rapidly so I'm happy with that. I just found it funny though as I'm normally a bit of a gym and health-food nazi and I've always worked my butt off to lose or maintain weight. Now that I'm pregnant I'm more relaxed about gaining weight, eating what I want and not exercising as much and I manage to lose weight! Go figure!

Taurean, I am the same... I put on weight (not much) in the first few weeks of pregnancy and have now lost that plus more! Lol but I am heavier than 60kg... I am currently 86.5kgs was 87kg pre-pg and then went up to 87.6kg then went down to 86.6kg during a four week period and then four weeks after than I am 86.5kg and eating like a horse. Prior to pregnancy I was trying to lose weight (gym, watching what I ate - no junk) but with my PCOS was struggling... now I am eating pretty much anything in sight, haven't been to the gym and have cancelled my membership, lay on the lounge cause most of the time I feel crud and the weight is going down either

TK - hilarious! It's uncanny really! I guess we should enjoy the random weight loss and continue pigging out! He he he

Taurean, yep as long as bubs gets what they need I don't mind if I shed a few kilos... might end up a healthier weight than I was pre-pg!

Just make sure you dont lose more than 5% pre-pregnancy weight unless you are making an actual effort to! LOL. I was already down 7% in this pregnancy and thankfully getting a little scrap of that back now - but another 3% (which was only 2kgs) and I would have ended up in hospital on i/v! I hate needles.

I went to the Ob yesterday and I have gained 4 kilos. I'm pretty happy with that considering I'm 28w and a little overweight to start with Don't want to end up the size of a house by the end of this pregnancy. Have to say though that it hasn't been becuase of dieting or excercise. I'm struggling to go for walks etc at the moment as I'm getting further in. I don't want to go on my own, so once hubby comes home I'll be going for walks with him. Much better to be with someone

So I finally decided to weigh myself the other day for the first time since I found out I was pregnant and I have put on a whopping 21 kgs! I'm normally just under 60 kgs so that is a third of my weight! I am retaining a lot of fluid (haven't been able to wear my rings for 3 months) so am hoping that that is most of it, otherwise I've gotta lot of work to do when bubs comes
