I was 54 kilos when I got pregnant and am 40 weeks. Overall I have gained 11 kilos. I have to say gestational diabetes was actually a small blessing in disguise because it forced me to eat healthily, I know I would have otherwise indulged.
i dont think ive even gained a kg yet. i gained 10kgs overall with my son lol

Sadly, I don't put on weight. I suffer chronic unrelenting morning sickness from start to finish, so the challenge is to not become bulimic during pregnancy. I have managed to arrest the loss this time round and have only lost 6kgs in the last '17' weeks. Not as bad as Baby #3 when I lost 40kgs in 8 months.
Sad that I should be grateful for being overweight before getting pregnant. '-_-
my dw put on about 6.5kgs last pregnancy , i dh put on 17kgs , i crave for everything , chocolate , fast food , even pineapple and i hate it . my dw ate healthy i ate like a pig .
Not sure how much I weigh now at 21 weeks, don't have scales in the house so the only time I get weighed is at my midwife appointments. Have one on Thursday so will be interesting to see if I have put on any weight yet- I was ~52kg when I fell pg and have lost nearly 3 kgs so I don't want to lose anymore! I think it has a lot to do with the fact up until a week or so ago I was still getting sick of a morning, and still can't eat breakfast so there's one major meal I'm missing out on. It's strange though because I feel like I am fatter, but I haven't put any weight on, so it just must be distributing throughout my body differently or something..lol
Well @ 25 weeks I have put on 5 kilos so far! Definately dont need to put on anymore @ my size, so will have to be very good![]()
Hi! Just found this pregnancy weight gain estimator online
Pregnancy weight gain estimator
It predicts how much you will gain based on your height and weight. Not sure how accurate it is, but interesting none the less..
BTW I got 11.3 kgs - 15.9 kgs

i'm 25 weeks and have lost 10kg (to december) and then put on 1.2kg in the 8 weeks between ob appts...
I just done that and it said;
You will probably gain 11.3 kgs - 15.9 kgs during your pregnancy.
If you gained the average of the range above, this is where the weight would go (totals are rounded):
You:
Uterus 1.1 kgs
Breasts 0.5 kgs
Blood 1.4 kgs
Water 1.9 kgs
Fat 3.8 kgs
Subtotal 8.6 kgs
Your baby:
Fetus 3.4 kgs
Placenta 0.7 kgs
Amniotic Fluid 0.9 kgs
Subtotal 5.0 kgs
Total 13.6 kgs
Not sure how accurate it is but I will let you all know lol! So far I have only put on about 1kg and I am 20weeks. If my baby only weighs 3.4kgs how many pounds is that?
Edited because I found out how to work it out and apparently I'm going to have a 7.4pound baby. Will be interesting to see how accurate it is.

That url estimated 6.6kg for me...will be interesting to see if it is true or not!
I honestly can't seeing myself gaining the amount of weight it told me I would but hey you never know I may be suprised. So far my whole family and relatives who have had children have gained very little weight. Fingers crossed I am the same!![]()

Thanks for the link that's a good one.
I entered my details and i got the exact same results as you Serenitylee, we must have been the same height and weight to begin with!?
I'm 36 weeks and i'll confimr with the dr tomorrow but i think i've put on around 10-11kg maybe...
Oh that is really interesting! Not that inaccurate then Kirst29. Now you just have to let us know how many pounds your baby is when he/she is born![]()
I also got the same weight gain range. But I think it is based upon your BMI rather than your exact height/weight. Also, I think the babies weight is just an average. I wanted to see, so added an extra 15 kgs to my weight and it said I would only gain 6 kg, but the babies details didn't change.
You will probably gain 6.8 kgs during your pregnancy.
If you gained the average of the range above, this is where the weight would go (totals are rounded):
You:
Uterus 0.4 kgs
Breasts 0.1 kgs
Blood 0.5 kgs
Water 0.6 kgs
Fat 1.3 kgs
Subtotal 2.9 kgs
Your baby:
Fetus 3.4 kgs
Placenta 0.2 kgs
Amniotic Fluid 0.3 kgs
Subtotal 3.9 kgs
Total 6.8 kgs
will be interesting to see how much i end up gaining
im 16 weeks tomorrow & have out on 2.5kg in total so far
