Oh hun - it is hard not to worry but as you get even further along you will get more movement and it really depends on how active bub is.... I was talking to my MIL the othe day and she was saying that she hardly got any movement with my DH and his brother. Izzy was soooo active but I didn't even feel her move until I was 21 weeks. With this bubby, I didn't get lots of movement until 24-25 weeks. Up until then I would have days where he wouldn't move at all... Im now nearly 29 weeks and it's only now that I get regular movements but even so it's not all day every day!
I'm rambling on now but I guess what I am saying is that at 20 weeks it's normal to have quiet days because bubs still has lots of room to float around!
Charlotte was insanely active! lol but then there were days where she would barely move, for days on end. used to scare me silly! lol but then she would start up again.
I suppose if you are really worried and you feel NOTHING for a couple of days, take your self off to the dr's if you are really worried. But they do get tired, they have sugar rushes, dependig on what you are eating, doing, etc, and they sleep too!!
Her movements should start to increase now she is getting bigger, you will be able to feel them more often, then they will probably slow a little bit later on when there is less room....They sort of change fom making you giggle to making you uncomfortable, iykwim
Good luck with the rest of the pregnacy and I hope she starts punnishing you soon!!
From memory, I don't think I felt movement every day until about 23 or 24 weeks.
If you are concerned have an icy cold drink and lie on your left side for a while and you are bound to feel movment. My DF also used to blow rasperries on my bump and this used to get bubs going. I noticed I got movement after eating chocolate.
Everyone and every bub is different. At 20 weeks i am pretty sure there will be nothing wrong with ur bub. Its either lovley and comfy in there or is having a party and u just dont know it
Dont worry the stronger kicks and stuff will come If u are getting too scared drink something cold or eat something hot and lay down put ur hand on ur tummy and talk to ur bub. I say things like "come on in there, dont scare ur mum". Also try drinking some ice (i mean ice) cold coke and have some chocky.. this will pretty much do the same thing.
If none of that works and ur still freaking... ring up the hospital and tell them u want to come in and be monitered as u have tried everything and u havent felt movement. They will let u go in there for peace of mind.
The good thing is I have a doppler, so I can have a quick listen to the HB when I get worried, it just seems strange after days of strong movements that she hasnt been moving much at all.
