    I did it again! :(

    OK so i made a pasta for dinner and poured some flax seed oil i had in the fridge over my pasta, (no cooking)

    Then i looked in the bottle and it was well un a bit cloudy! then i looked at the lable and it said to eat within eight weeks of opening........................................... ........................I last used it before i was pg



    26 weeks ago!

    I am so worried about listeria( i had a reading and the lady told me to be very careful about what i eat! now i am freaking AGAIN!)

    That's baby brain for you hey? I do this all the time, pregnant or not.
    Listeria is so very rare hon. Try not to stress too much. And sometimes the useby dates are very conservative, you know?

    Now i just read that having flaxseed during pg may cause menstration!!!!!! WTF?

    Awwww please don't stress hun

    You should be pretty safe, I agree with Marcellus the use by dates are quite conservative, was it a best before or use by that make s abig difference as well, Listerea is really quie rare and more of a concern in the first trimester.

    I've been taking Flaxseed Oil daily for this pregnancy and took throughout my first too, it's fine to take. Please try not to worry.

    Hi would have flaxseed almost daily either in the bread I make, oil or other snacks etc, it's my main source of Omega 3 being vegetarian. I wouldn't worry about it
