Talking I had my first 'its the end of the world' moment!

PMSL - Im glad I can laugh now (and so can hubby)

Wasnt THAT bad... but so far I havent really had any cravings etc... i mean, I few here and there... but nothing major

Today I decided I wanted a pasta dish I make for tea - WITH MUSHROOMS...

Went to shops after work to do some stuff, then back home to the local woolies to get some things (like toothpaste cause hubby took ours on his work trip and Ive had NONE)

Run around, do dishes, washing, walk dogs.. get stuff out to cook tea - NO MUSHROOMS! Noooooooo
Right then (like ON cue) Hubby calls from work to say hi... so he copped it... PMSL
All over the mushrooms... so I hungup cause I was so upset! Then I tried to think of what else I could have... NOPE... I wasnt going to get thru the night without my mushroom pasta...
So a 30 minute round trip at 6:30pm to get mushrooms from the only shops close to my suburb! Hubby rings whilst I am driving and we manage to have a laugh about it
OMG - It was (and still is) sooo funny
I cant believe I just HAD TO HAVE it! My first taste of a real craving and 'its the end of the world' moment!!!

Please feel free to share yours

    Too funny..

mine was when I realised my clothes didn't fit and we had to go out for tea and I sat on the floor just crying and crying.. I felt like my world had ended.. There was no where to buy new clothes and I wasn't going to step foot outside the house ever again because I was just fat (no hunny you're pregnant says dh) no im fat no one can tell I am pregnant they will just think I ate to much.

sigh.. Thankfully I was only that bad during my first pregnancy

haha same with me first time I had no pants to wear. We were going out my hubby said hurry up I'm getting in the car. 10mins later he's honking the horn, I'm inside trying every single pair of pair of pants on, not one fits. He honks again helling hurry up. Next min I walk out slamming the front door wearing pants with a inch gap on my front, I was not happy. It's very depressing at the time, then you realise after you are pregnant it's normal.

Oh too funny, ... reminds me of my older sister when she was pregnant & she made her hubby drive miles to another town to find a fish n' chip shop open as she had a massive craving for potatoe cakes ... They together drove in a huge storm, dogging trees falling down with her hubby saying " I so hope these potato cakes are worth it "

oh Mrs BB you've made me feel so much better - i had my first real craving - at 3am this morning - and i was a MESS when DH wouldn't go to town and get it for me! i HATE maccas burgers with a passion, but dreamt that i was at a BBQ and they were making Macca's style cheese burgers - i woke up telling him to go and get me a cheese burger! he was so sweet and put up with it for ages. offered all these alternatives (rissoles are NOT that same as hamburgers) - in the end i had a cheese burger without the bread or meat cos that's all we had. cheese at 3am!

i was thinking i was a freak for having a weird craving so early, but yay for you having one too!

haven't had a fat clothes moment yet - have actually lost weight and almost need braces on my pants - but i've had hissy's about my bras not fitting properly! i can't believe i've gone up two cup sizes by 13 weeks!

Mrs BB, had to laugh at your DH taking the toothpaste. My DP does that to me ALL the time! To the point where he had 3 tubes in his toiletries bag!!!

Last week, DP drove me to Macca's (which we both hate - normally) to get me a chocolate shake at about 11.30 at night. Sometimes you just gotta have it!

Teehee this thread is too funny!

I had one with clothes as well - all my slim fitting business suits got too tight and I sat down on the couch and cried - I was so exhausted and felt so fat! Needless to say DH authorised the purchase of "whatever I needed" to stop me crying!

LOVE this thread. So glad I am not the only melodramatic one. A few weeks ago I was crying about something pathetic, realised how lame it was and then cried about what a stupid dramatic sook I was being!!

My Mum loves to tell us about when she was pg with my brother (her first) and was on her way to an antenatal class in Melb CBD when she was abt 36 weeks. A cop pulled her over after she did a normal right hand turn in an intersection that she was supposed to do a hook turn and started to tell her off. My Mum hauled her enormous belly out of the car and stood in the middle of the road HOWLING and sobbing in tears, desperately apologising and trying to explain herself until passers-by started stopping and staring and telling the cop to leave the poor pregnant lady alone. Apparently he practically shoved her (still bawling) back into her car and said "IT"S FINE, JUST GO!!!".

Must agree this is a funny thread!
My "end of the world moment" was when i had gotten out of the shower one night (can't remember how pregnant i was) and i put my undies on and they rolled down under my belly! i went out bawling my eyes out to DH and got him to have a look at how my undies wouldnt stay up over my belly any more, and he just laughed saying it was perfectly normal since i was pregnant and had started to show more!
It truely was the end of the world for me - i felt so fat at that moment and was in tears for quite awhile!
However DH and i can look back at it and laugh now!

And isnt it funny how u crave stuff u don't usually like - mine was strawberry milk - and i HATE strawberry milk - but i HAD to have it everymorning!

    LMFAO hhaha very funny girls.

So glad i'm not the only one that bawls her eyes out when don't like anything in my wardrobe/ what i wanted to wear no longer fits. Poor DP even goes thru my clothes and puts outfits on bed and says 'ooooer that looks lovely when you wear this' ... only to make it worse when that doesn't fit anymore *bawls harder* LOL.

my only proper craving so far is Special K cereal - the BEST

for the last few months i've been craving a certain dish from a 5 star restaurant here in adelaide (the manse) - what i want sooooo bad is grilled whitloff (onion thing) with custard parmesan sauce stuff. OMG. but it's soooo expensive to go there i told DP for xmas i want to go there so i can just order 5 serves of that.

    mmmmm i'm salivating now. LOL

I'm also totally addicted to grilled eggplant - i can't get enough.

haha to the sour straps. that makes me kinda want them now too.

i had a moment today.... came out of shops to my car and someone had parked really close to my door. I could barely get it open and there was no way i was going to be able to squeeze in. Other side had a bit more room, but its a large and chunky 4wd, with a huge centre console, and to slide across from passenger to driver side is VERY difficult even when not pg.

I was in a hurry and it was hot! I took a few seconds to consider winding up to a big episode.... and then the other drier came out of the shops and got in the car and took off. Good thing she did, or it could have gotten SERIOUS!!!!
